The lake chalet offers five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom featuring a spacious, walk-in shower and rain showerhead. In the summer, you can spend balmy evenings on the sheltered, covered balcony, which has plenty of space for everyone and offers an unparalleled view of the lake and the mountains.
On cooler days, take a seat at the large table in the open-concept living/dining area with panoramic windows. A wood-burning stove adds to the cozy atmosphere.
The entire house is equipped with underfloor heating. The bedrooms and the living area all have Wi-Fi and TV. The handmade furniture, crafted from reclaimed wood, and rare pieces from Austria were carefully selected with great attention to detail or crafted by local artisans.
The Seechalet is situated on a sunny plateau above Lake Millstatt. In a completely peaceful, rural setting, far away from noise and hustle and bustle, you can enjoy panoramic mountain views stretching from the Hohe Tauern to the Karawanken.
From here, you can immediately set out on a hike in the “Nockberge Biosphere Reserve.” Many hiking trails, including the “Via Paradiso,” run right past the house and offer you magnificent views of the gentle lake and mountain landscape. Alpine huts with fantastic views round out this hiker’s paradise.
Cycling is a major highlight at Lake Millstatt. The Lake Circuit, the Drau Valley Bike Trail, and many more offer varied tours for all ages.
You can see the Goldeck from the house; it’s a sunny ski resort with plenty of options, just 15 minutes away. The Katschberg offers great skiing well into Easter and is reachable in 30 minutes.
A vacation for body and soul.
Within walking distance, you’ll find the Kirchenwirt in Obermillstatt, serving regional and down-to-earth cuisine. The restaurant at the Naturhotel Alpenrose is located right nearby. Here, you can enjoy delicious, authentic cuisine.
