Quartier-Eifel Vacation Home No. 45, up to 4 people:

Quartier No. 45 is a vacation home measuring approximately 80 square meters. It can accommodate up to four people. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms: one with a cozy box-spring bed (1.60 m) and a balcony, the other with two single beds (1 x 2 m)—both with their own TV. The bathroom, which gets plenty of natural light, is also located on the upper floor.
On the first floor, you’ll find an open, bright living and dining area with a pellet stove to provide cozy warmth on cool days. There’s a third TV in the living area, and the modern kitchen is fully equipped (including an oven, dishwasher, microwave, and much more). The separate guest bathroom with a washer and dryer is very convenient.
My large, covered terrace with an unobstructed view to the west is the perfect spot for sunsets, while the smaller south-facing terrace is ideal for breakfast.
The Ernstberg, the highest peak of the Western Eifel volcanoes (almost 700 m), is within walking distance—about a 15-minute walk.
Pets are not allowed here—ideal for people with pet dander allergies.

On-site costs: I am the newer of our two “QUARTIEREN” properties, and I’ve been located near the Ernstberg on the outskirts of Hinterweiler for 30 years. (Approximately 1 km from Kirchweiler and 8 km from Daun and Gerolstein.) I’ve been completely renovated. The Ernstberg, at a height of nearly 700 m, is the highest peak of the Western Eifel volcanoes. From my place, you can reach it on foot in about 15 minutes. I’m also a very well-equipped, sun-drenched house of about 75 square meters with two terraces. On the first floor, I feature, among other things, a spacious bedroom (1.60 m wide box-spring bed), a TV, and a balcony. The second bedroom is equipped with two single beds (1 m x 2 m) and a TV. The bathroom is on the upper floor. My first floor has an open layout with a kitchen (oven, dishwasher, and much more—see list), a four-seater seating area, and a cozy living area. The pellet stove provides cozy warmth on cooler days. The guest bathroom, which includes a washer and dryer, is located on the first floor. With my unobstructed view, you can enjoy a legendary sunset on my covered terrace. I also have another small south-facing terrace perfect for breakfast. I can accommodate up to four guests. I’m suitable for people with pet allergies—since pets aren’t allowed.
