The Mountaineer is a different feeling cabin from cabins we've stayed in other parts of the country. For starters - there are taxidermy animals ALL over the cabin - check out the "deer"orama in the bathroom! Let me start with the negatives (the positives def outweigh): the lighting is very dim in the living room. It is cozy and romantic, but not very suitable for much more than romance or watching tv. Second, there is no washer and dryer (no dishwasher either). This is my bad for not reading more closely. If we were staying longer, that would've been an issue, but as it was, we got by without one. If you have a low riding vehicle, the road up to the cabin will be difficult. These roads are best suited for those with 4WD or trucks. Very rough and pretty steep road in part getting to the cabin. The last negative - and this one is one that anyone wanting to rent the cabin need know - you WILL climb stairs! The stairs into the cabin are steep and rocky. You have to climb up and down the stairs between the bathroom and the bedroom. This cabin is NOT a good choice for anyone with mobility issues.Now for the positives - the staff at Cinnamon Valley are AMAZING!! So sweet and engaging. She is there to help you plan your trip, suggest the best things to see and do and the best places to eat. The cabin is very clean and the bathtub is AWESOME!! and HUGE!! I found the bed lumpy, but my husband thought it was very comfortable. It is a lovely retreat!

Had an amazing time. Was very clean, decore was pleasing, the grounds were clean and quiet. When checking in we were advised of where there was flooding from recent rain and provided a map to the cabin and one of the hiking trail. Will definitely be back.

30th Anniversary Getaway

Cinnamon Valley is a gem in the Ozarks and Eureka Springs. Nestled back in the woods, surrounded by natures beauty and wildlife. From the forest to the lakes the property is beautiful and well kept. The cabin was incredible! True log cabin construction with stone and hardwood throughout. I felt like I was in Montana. Full kitchen ammenities along with large walkin shower and jacuzzi tub. We did a short hike and saw deer and some large woodpeckers which was nice. We will certainly want to return to this wonderful property sometime into the future.

The perfect getaway

The cabin was very clean and very comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was a perfect way to wind down for the night. Close enough to the town yet very quiet and serves as a good break from the hustle of city life. The bed was really comfortable. We loved everything about this place. We will definitely be making this a regular weekend getaway. Highly highly recommend

Spectacular Holiday Getaway

Eureka Springs in the off season is such a quiet treasure, and this cabin was the perfect place for some couple's RnR. The listing was as described (pictures really don't do the interior justice), and each living space was well-stocked for all basic needs and comforts. Property management is so, so friendly and welcoming, and they had great info on the area and recommendations for things to do within the holiday.I wish the cabins were just a bit more spaced out/secluded from each other, but out on the porch at night, it never even looked/felt like anyone else was around. Such a beautiful piece of property and homes, and I do hope to return to it some day.

Highly recommend

Friendly hosts, clean property, cabins are secluded and off the main road (glad we had 4WD as the road to the cabins is very much hills and turns). Well maintained and a great place for a getaway. We walked around the property one evening and took in the beautiful valley and fall colors. Highly recommend and we will be returning when we are in the area again!

Just a great time

Such a perfect getaway weekend for our anniversary. House was absolutely lovely!! Property managers were awesome and helped us when we got locked out (our fault) and gave us some great restaurant and hiking recommendations. Loved it!!

Lovely weekend in Eureka Spring!

The property was absolutely gorgeous and well maintained! I loved the full amenities that were provided! We were looking for a nice quiet place to enjoy ourselves and get away. This cabin and the location definitely delivered! I would recommend this to any couple looking to have a weekend away and enjoy nature!

Great weekend escape

Secluded but minutes from town. Perfect weekend escape. Had a great trip and planning another. Property manager was knowledgeable of the area and gave us great advice on dinner options and where not to go.
