Here, near the small town of Snavlunda and just a few minutes from the idyllic harbour town of Askersund, you will find a place to unwind and recharge.

The house stands on a large, fenced property in a quiet, secluded location — no traffic noise, no hustle and bustle, instead open fields, forests and occasionally curious cows as neighbours. Just 370 m away lies the nearest lake with good fishing opportunities and direct access to the Snavlunda Nature Reserve, which invites you to take relaxing walks and hikes.

The entire house has been freshly renovated and prepared with great attention to detail for our big and small guests. Bright colours, natural materials and cosy corners create a comfortable atmosphere - perfect for a little break at any time of year. Family-friendly equipment with high chair, baby bath, travel cot (on request), toys. Large, fenced property with typical Swedish outbuildings and a Lekstuga (playhouse) for the little ones.



Environment - Nature, Experiences & Swedish Small Town Idyll - Explore the surroundings such as Askersund (approx. 12 km), a picturesque harbour town, located on the beautiful Lake Vättern and delighting with its historic town centre, small cafés, a yacht harbour and charming wooden houses.

Visit the imposing Stjernsund Castle, which towers majestically over the lake. Tiveden National Park (approx. 40 km), an untouched nature reserve with hiking trails through mystical forests, past rocks, lakes and beaches - perfect for nature lovers.

Örebro (approx. 45 km) a castle town with a lively city centre, restaurants, shopping and the famous city park and its water playground.

Motala (approx. 50 km) – "The Capital of the Göta Canal" a charming small town on the Göta Canal and Lake Vättern with bathing beaches and maritime flair.

Lake Vättern - The second largest lake in Sweden offers dreamlike bathing spots, fishing spots and crystal-clear water.



Directly from the house, you can go fishing, hiking, cycling, mushroom picking

Nature reserve & lake are approx. 370 m away. A bathing spot is located in Snavlunda (approx. 3km).

Good to know:

WiFi is free. Laundry package (bedding & towels) can be optionally booked. We are happy to set up a travel cot for babies upon request.

Dogs welcome - the property is completely fenced.
