The old country house is surrounded by green hills (450 m above sea level) and fields. It invites you to a peaceful and relaxing stay and offers a pleasantly cool environment even in the hottest summer months.
Outside is a large communal garden (7000 m²) with a swimming pool, olive trees, fruit trees and oak trees, inviting you to take long walks and enjoy the wonderful colours of sunrise and sunset. It is equipped with a gazebo, tables, chairs and a hammock. There is parking on the property.
The old 17th century stone country house has been carefully restored to preserve its former beauty. The house consists of three holiday flats on the first floor, so that a group can spend their holidays together without sacrificing privacy. On the ground floor there are three common rooms with tables, chairs, sofas, TV, DVD player and a shared kitchen with dishwasher, five-burner stove, electric oven and wood stove. The Torre holiday flat is located in the oldest part of the house and is furnished with traditional farm furniture. It is divided into two levels and can accommodate up to seven people. On the first level is the entrance hall, which leads directly to the kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a living room with fireplace. On the second level there is a large bathroom with shower and two bedrooms, each with a double bed (160x190cm). In both bedrooms there is also a sofa bed for one person (80x190cm each). The flat is equipped with a washing machine.
The Alba holiday flat is on one level and consists of two bedrooms, each with a double bed (160x190cm), a bathroom with shower and a kitchen-living room with fireplace. On request, it is possible to add a single bed in one of the bedrooms. The Tramonto mini-apartment for two persons consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with shower and a small kitchen-living room. In the kitchen-living room there is a sofa bed for a child.
The house is a short walk from the archaeological site of Carsulae, an ancient Roman city, and 2 km from Portaria, a medieval village. The nearest town, where there are supermarkets, a pharmacy, bank and post office, is Acquasparta (5 km). The nearest town is Terni (20 km).
Hospitality is very important to us, since 'La Pinturella' is not just a place to spend holidays, but a way of life. Hospitality means welcoming guests, exchanging ideas, offering them a comfortable atmosphere and taking care of their well-being. The owners do not live in the house, but will be happy to assist guests during their stay, as they live only a few minutes away.
