Lafayette Manor is located in Southwest Missouri (Pulaski County), in the heart of the Ozarks - just seconds of Historical Route 66, and only 7 minutes from Fort Leonard Wood.
This charming plantation style Manor will instantly remind you of southern elegance. The house is surrounded by beautiful landscaping, scores of rose bushes, and towering oak trees.
As you step into the foyer, you will instantly feel transported to a world of exquisite beauty, opulence and grandeur.
We offer our guests 4 rooms on the 2nd floor and 1 room on the 3rd floor, kitchen, living and dining area.
This main hall boasts a glittering Italian chandelier hanging from the two-story ceiling, twin curved staircases, original art work, a huge wall of mirrors, heavy crown molding, and a shining marble flour. The furnishings throughout are posh and the decorating is both colorful and stylish.
The spacious 5 guestrooms at Lafayette Manor have been appropriately named after the Founding Fathers. We want your stay at our inn to be relaxing and comfortable and are happy to offer you the following amenities with all room types:

Nice but Couldn't use pool

The property was very nice, however the pool was not ready to use during our stay and that was not communicated to us beforehand. We were a little disappointed not to have the pool to relax in as a family. Each bedroom does have it's own bathroom which made getting ready a lot easier every morning. The deck off the back was also not safe to gather on, but the swings were nice.

Perfect family getaway

This was the perfect place for our large family group of 10 to stay, while attending my granddaughter's graduation at FLW. It was very spacious, and each bedroom had its own bathroom. The living area was very nice, and it was great to have a kitchen. Close to FLW and grocery stores!

Perfect place to stay for BCT graduation

I canā€™t tell you how nice it was to have this house to relax in before my sonā€™s graduation from Army BCT. There were 6 adults and two teens in our group. Everyone had their own rooms and then there was a large common area to hang out in. This worked nicely for family day! We got pizza and hung out, went swimming and just relaxed! This is an older home but very clean and the beds were super comfy. I will warn you that there are stairs to the living area so someone unable to walk a flight should not rent here. The owners of this home also own Route 66 diner which was reasonably priced and had the BEST burgers! They are freshly made! Thank you Les, for your hospitality and the suggestion for food.

Just what we needed

Bedrooms, kitchen area perfect for what we needed. Owner very responsive to what ever came up. Downsides: we were there in a heatwave and being upstairs, AC unit struggled to keep us cool. Advertised a pool but it was closed for repairs. Owner supposedly emailed us 2 week prior to advise us but we never received it(but we did get all the other communications.) They did take $$ off our nightly rate to compensate though.

needs a spring cleaning

Needs a good spring cleaning, including the grounds. Has great potential, but the property has not been maintained as one would expect. dirty kitchen, dirty/stained carpets throughout, deck flooring rotted, grounds unkeep.

Beautiful home

The home itself is stunning. And the hosts were great, we did have to check in late but they were very accommodating and everything worked out perfect. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful and spacious

Loved our stay. We rented the whole house for our time in the area when our son graduated from Fort Leonard Wood. It was perfect! Great to have our own space to bring him back to and relax. The time by the pool was definitely the highlight! Very friendly host!

Awesome Stay!

We had an amazing weekend celebrating my sisters bachelorette party. Spent most of the day outside in the pool, Kitchen was small but useful. Rooms were great with each having its own bathroom. Perfect for the 10 girls we had staying. Keep in mind there are a lot of stairs for the property, access to the pool has to be out the front door and around the house, and owner lives on main floor; he did not stay there over night but did come back a few times. No issues on our end :)

Great space but a bit odd

We enjoyed our stay at the Lafayette Manor during our family vacation. It was six adults and three kiddos. The pool was great to have and it was nice to spread out to all of the bedrooms. The sauna and gym was also a nice perk! We were a little surprised that we didnā€™t have access to the entire house. The owners live in the main level and lock that up when they rent the space. The living area we had access to was on the second level and a little small for all nine of us. We also had to walk out the front door and around to the back to get to the pool since we couldnā€™t access the main level. Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay!

Great pool time

We enjoyed our stay overall. The pool was great and the obvious highlight of the house. The owner is very accessible and responds quickly with things we needed. Important note, you have access to the 2nd and 3rd floors of the house. The 1st level is the owners house and they are around sometimes but give you your space. The only main indoor living room space is good for about 5 adults and 4 kids. Anything more than that may feel crowded. The attic bedroom was great for the kids to do a slumber party. There are plenty of TVs with Roku but no live channels from what we could tell. We brought a Google Chromecast cable to attach to the tv to watch TV and stream kids movies. The house is about an hour from the Ozarks. There are a couple hikes and parks with 20-30 mins that we enjoyed.

Perfect Place for our Large Group

We all had a great time staying in your beautiful house. It was much better than all having separate rooms at a hotel. Our baseball team and parents could hang out after the games and relax buy the pool. Les was very helpful and the accommodated all of our needs.

Military Family Gem!

Definitely consider a stay at Layfayette Manor for your soldierā€™s graduation at Ft. Leonard Wood. Spacious with plenty of room to spread out with 5 bedrooms with private bathrooms and shared gathering space. Oksana and Lee are so hospitable and how wonderful to have a delicious breakfast before heading to ceremonies for our sonā€™s graduation from MP school. On family day, we were able to bring him back and hang out, play games, sit out on the patio to visit, and soak up some sun! Thank you for making a special occasion even more special! Not to mention the perfect place for post grad photos!

Perfect stay for large families

We had multiple family members in town, visiting from all over the country, to attend our sonā€™s graduation from Basic Training. This home was the perfect size and location for this occasion. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and accommodating. They truly go the extra mile to ensure your comfort. We rented all the rooms so my family had the entire upper floor. This is a gorgeous home, very clean and offers everything you need for a wonderful stay. Itā€™s exactly as advertised and my family and I would stay here again with no hesitation. Again, if you have a large size family, I highly, highly, highly recommend this beautiful home.

Amazing Family Vacation Home

This year we chose Lafayette Manor to gather with our two sons, their wives, and the five grandchildren. Everyone was thrilled with the "Mansion"--as beautiful as the pictures. On the second and third floor we had comfortable rooms for everyone, a kitchen and common area which got heavy use, and a hallway across the spectacular entry. Loved the view from the balcony. We used the basement exercise room with washer & dryer, the many TV sets (within limits),the lawn for soccer, and best of all, the great pool with a pool house. The owners were over-the-top friendly and helpful, even providing homemade treats. They made our stay relaxing and trouble free. Waynesville has a contemporary playground and splash pad, and nearby St Robert has restaurants.. For day trips about an hour each way, we did a float down the Meramec River (fun) and visited Onondaga Cave (impressive). The more adventuresome added the Crystal Cave to that. It was a treat to have a five-day vacation like this not too far from home (Oklahoma). It also allowed us to successfully personalize the vacation. One family added a week in St. Louis beforehand and we grandparents went home by way of a road trip to North Dakota..

Fabulous accommodations and hospitality.

We just came home from a wonderful 3 days at Lafayette Manor. We were in town for our son's graduation from basic training at Fort Leonard Wood. Our family of 11 was able to spread out and enjoy time with our soldier. We had fabulous accommodations, a private living area, kitchen, and pool. It was the privacy that our son was hoping for. I can't thank Oksana and Less enough for their hospitality. They have attention to detail and made our stay as perfect as possible.

Sons graduation from boot camp. Family came from Texas and Illinois. We had a fabulous day grilling and splashing in the pool. Covered tables and porch off pool house gave us a lovely place to visit and relax. The rooms are elegant and very clean. Common room was a great indoor gathering area. Better than a 5 star holel. Anything we needed was provided with a without question or hesitaion. A memory of a life time.
