The location of Parkside Retreat can`t be beat! This in-town home is right by the town park and only a short walk to the free shuttle. This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with Hot Tub and fantastic yard is warm, inviting, and ready for your family to make memories in Crested Butte! The period details in Parkside Retreat are immediately evident when you enter the home. From the mission style hardware to the saltillo tile floors, to the subway tile baths, everything in this home says "comfortable family retreat!"

Step inside the home, kick off your shoes, and get ready to relax. The mud room is spacious and inviting with plenty of room for all your outdoor gear including a bike rack! The kitchen is large and open with breakfast seating and plenty of counter space. The 6 burner commercial stove with griddle is great for pancakes and big dinners. Step into the great room with soaring ceilings. The dining room is located in the great room and has an inviting reclaimed table and chairs that are definitely unique. On this level is a bedroom with a King bed and full bath done in period style black and white subway tile. Down the hall you will find the bunk room with two sets of custom log bunks and a great laundry area should you decide to do some chores while on vacation.

Off the living room is access to the fantastic outdoor living space with fenced and sprinklered yard, outdoor dining, and of course the oversized private HOT TUB! Back inside the home on the second level is the master suite with King bed, sitting area, and its own private deck taking in unobstructed views of Mt. Crested Butte! Also on this level is another period style full bath and a loft area with oversized chair for reading and relaxing.Ā 

In the winter you are a short walk to the shuttle for fantastic skiing, and in the summer you are right by the town park with play area for the kids, volleyball, horseshoes, baseball, and manicured lawn to just sit back and relax. Unbelievable location and tons of amenities will find you putting Parkside Retreat at the top of your Crested Butte vacation list!

Picture Perfect

This property was even better than it looked online. The location was perfect for kids and adults alike. We were close enough to walk to everything that we wanted to see or do. The park across the street was excellent. Our two teenage boys enjoyed the freedom to go burn off extra energy at the park . The house itself was big enough for the 6 of us to really spread out and not feel on top of each other. Honestly, I just can't say enough good about this property. If we ever go back to Crested Butte, I will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location

The Parkside retreat was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 children/teens. It was very comfortable with plenty of room for all. The location was perfect, just a short walk to town. Well stocked with easy check in/out. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit crested butte and be close to the town.

Perfect winter family getaway

Stayed here with my wife and young children for a week. Excellent location and well put together house. Quiet neighborhood. Great layout with a central living room where we all spent our evenings in front of the warm fireplace. The hot tub was a great end to the day and just steps from the door leading to the deck. Very private. Beds are warm and comfortable. Ensuite bathrooms and a full laundry attached to the front bathroom. Plenty of the towels for baths and hot tub. The kitchen sports a chef-grade stove and oven. Well laid out with plenty of utensils and cookware. The large kitchen table seated the whole family with more available in the dining area. A few things that we learned during our stay: Extra charcoal, supplies and snow shovel are in the closet in the ante-room by the front door. There are also a couple of sleds and sundry items in there that we found after a couple of days of staying. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again on our next ski trip to Crested Butte.

Close to perfect

Weā€™ve been coming to CB every summer for years and stayed in many different homes. This one was the best. Location is perfect. Right across the street from the park for those with kids, quick walk to Elk St and close to several trails. The house itself is comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to make a gourmet meal. Thereā€™s a great private patio outside perfect for sitting around with a glass of wine in the evening. And the hot tub is a must.

Great location! Walk to Elk Street.

We loved this house! The kitchen was well-stocked and a cook's delight! We spent a lot of time in the large (& clean!) hot tub and around the fire pit. The charcoal grill was also a nice amenity. The location of this house can't be beat. Right across the street from the park and a very quick walk to Elk Street for restaurants and shopping. We did not need our car to get around town. Such a treat! We would definitely stay here again!

This home has everything you could need inside, including a kitchen stocked with cookware, and is a short walk from everything you could need. Management was extremely helpful and accommodating as well!

Great house - near construction site

I would recommend the house once the construction of the new concert hall that is next door is complete. There were bulldozers and tractors driving in front of our house all day. That should have been disclosed.

Nice House / Perfect Location.

Our family (2 parents, 3 young children and 2 grandparents) had a great stay while we were in Crested Butte for a ski trip at the end of March. The house is reasonably sized and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the hot tub was a nice way to unwind after a full day of skiing. The location is perfect: right in the middle of town with easy access to the ski bus, childrenā€™s center and Elk Ave. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely consider staying here again.

Beautifully appointed cabin in a perfect location

Great cabin with tons of amenities. Spacious rooms and comfy beds! Kitchen was furnished with nice appliances, tons of nice pots and pans, and loads of spices. An easy walk (or drive) to town. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing! Beautiful view. Two nice entry ways with lots of places to store skis, boots, helmets and jackets. Will definitely rent again!

Exceeds expectation

This home was more than we asked for in every way. The house was beautiful, the furnishings were lovely, the kitchen had everything you need for the making of delicious meals. The yard is beautiful. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. The pictures do not do this home justice for its beauty, comfort and spaciousness. It is located across from the park. It was a perfect place for us to be to attend the Alpenglow Concert Series, to walk to the downtown action, and to drive to breath-taking hiking and biking. Overall this home exceeded our expectations in everyway. I hope to return soon.
