Clean, had everything we needed and a great location!

Very nice little apartment right in a great part of Miraflores. The owner quickly responded to email and provided all necessary information. It’s very clean and had all we needed. Good restaurants, all within walking distance. We ate at Panchita’s, Mangoes and the Hilton and had very good meals at each place. The supermarket is only a few blocks away. It is really nice and has a great selection of breads, cheeses, wines.

Excellent location!

Condo is in an excellent location; easy walking distance to all amenities; Jim responded immediately to all questions. Condo clean and quiet; also has a 24-hour concierge desk. Would definitely recommend this unit.

Convenient Location, Good Value & Friendly Owner

Jim is a wonderful, hospitable, informative and friendly guy. I echo the reviews posted. But I just want to add that he has an excellent taxi driver, Hernan, whom he uses. He was waiting for us in front of the building when we arrived. Hernan was already waiting for us with our names on a sign, and assisted me with using the Banco de Nacion ATM outside to the right and right of the Customs area. We used him for our transfers to AEP, and to the cruise terminal after our return from Iguazu. We also used him to visit some places, and shopping; and also had lunch with him at one of his favorite local restaurants, where he ordered steak, bife de lomo and "gizzard" (delicious) for us. We had a memorable stay and really appreciated and felt like VIP's from the the services of his driver. I recommend without reservation to stay at Jim's place.

Perfect location

I have stayed in several places in Miraflores but this condo surpassed all! I really enjoyed staying here, very clean, nicely decorated, comfy pillows, good lighting. Quiet street, walking distance to 28 de Julio Ave, Larco.... I will definitely come back.

Excellent Stay!

My husband and I stayed in Mr Baxter's condo from 22 Sept- 30 Oct. It was very clean and had all the amenities of home. The location was perfect, being within walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants, casino and even the ocean was just a few blocks away. The condo has 24 hour security and located next to a police station. We felt very safe at all times. I highly recommend Mr. Baxter's condo and am looking forward to renting again when we go back to Miraflores.

Search No Further

If you're looking for a clean, safe, central location in Miraflores, stop looking. You've found it. The condo is situated off a main avenue where the coastline, Larco Mar (shopping), bike rentals, restaurants, banks, gym, and a local shopping market are all easily within walking distance. The Hilton is at the corner and the Marriott is just a couple of blocks away; I cite these hotels to give an indication of the neighborhood safety and great location. The building has a 24/7 attendant at the front desk and all are very helpful if you need any assistance. The condo itself has a nice layout with a comfortable living area and dining room. It's small and comfortable-- not confining-- and with large windows that invite the breeze. Easy kitchen set-up, compete with microwave and all utensils you'll need if you want to cook . (You're on vacation! Who wants to cook?!! But it's great for breakfast). There is a full-size washer/dryer that makes it easy to pack less for your travels. In the bedroom, there is a king-size bed and again the large windows and an overhead ceiling fan if you need it. Roomy shower with a great shower head! The neighborhood quiets down by 1100. Big screen TV, satellite phone, house phone, towels, linens, great Wi-fi-- it's all here to settle in and be comfortable. Jim is the owner and has nice suggestions and directions available for restaurants, markets, and even a taxi service that is already pre-registered when you call from the house phone. While there, he contacted me to make sure everything was okay and if I had any questions or needed anything. I doubt you'll get that kind of connection with most rentals... .

Great pad, location, just a bit noisy.

Very clean, comfortable 1BR, very good location, very smooth check-in, check-out with front desk/security. Owner is super-responsive, easy to work with. Only issue was noise at night. Perhaps just a function of a Friday night or holiday weekend with some late-night social gatherings going on, but the cluster of buildings in the neighborhood makes things pretty echo-y. But overall I'd recommend.

Great Condo in the Miraflores

We just returned from spending a month in Lima. When we first inquired about this condo Jim responded immediately and from that point on he was always available to help us and give us advice. The condo us very spacious, clean, well furnished, and located close to restaurants, groceries, shopping, etc. We particularly appreciated how the condo was stocked with cleaning supplies, appliances and basic cooking supplies such as oils, spices, etc. We also appreciated the friendly, reliable 24 hour security. This condo certainly contributed to an enjoyable month in Lima. We would highly recommend it to anyone anticipating a visit to Lima. Thanks, Jim!

Great location, great condo, and great service

The location is a short walk from restaurants, the seashore, running trails, and everything needed for a wonderful vacation. The building has 24-hour security so access is never a problem. Jim provided great instructions and recommendations regarding restaurants, taxi access, and local attractions. There is also tandem paragliding available ~1 mile away at a price of ~S/.225. The condo is spacious and I preferred it greatly over a cramped hotel room. When returning to Lima, I will definitely try to reserve this condo again.

Wonderful Week in Lima!

My boyfriend and I were traveling in Peru for 6 weeks and instead of staying in a hotel we wanted to do something different in Lima. That was when we decided to rent this apartment from Jim in Miraflores. Jim responded to our request immediately and from the moment we booked to the moment we left he was incredibly helpful and did everything possible to ensure we had the best stay possible! Jim was always available if we had questions or concerns and he even went out of his way to return the charger that we accidentally left in his apartment after leaving. In terms of the apartment, it was absolutely beautiful. The place was spotless and equipped with everything you need. It was so easy to run to the grocery store that is a few blocks away and cook dinner. As well, it is just as easy to walk a few blocks and go out for dinner because the apartment is in the best location in Miraflores! It is so close to the beach, parks, shopping, and restaurants. We also found a sports bar two blocks away that actually aired the NHL playoffs while we were there (we are Canadian so we love our hockey). Overall we had a fantastic week-long stay in Lima which is largely attributable to our stay in Jim's apartment. Not just the property itself, but Jim's willingness to make sure we had the best stay possible. I highly recommend renting this place!! Sarah

Safe apartment and reliable owner!

I had a family emergency and needed to find a place for my uncle and grandma to stay in Lima for 3 days. I was hesitant about renting out an apartment for them since Lima can be a dangerous place even if you know your way around there, which we do. We're Peruvians but haven't lived in Lima in over 25 years; we reside in Los Angeles, CA. I found this apartment in Miraflores and from the beginning, Jim the owner, was not only prompt at responding to each of my emails and calls, but was also friendly which helped make the decision of renting the apartment from him and not other owners I had contacted. He made the rent transaction a smooth one and was extremely helpful with my requests and at making my family feel welcome in his property once they arrived in Lima. My family is back in Los Angeles now after taking care of our emergency and had the best things to say about the cleanliness of the apartment, how comfortable they felt in it, and how convenient the location was for them to get around. Also, it helped that Jim provided a cell phone for them to use which made it easier for the rest of my family in Los Angeles to stay in touch with them. I obtained my deposit back on the same check out date. I would definitely recommend this apartment. Thank you, Jim!

Great apartment in the heart of Miraflores!

Great one-bedroom apartment on a quiet safe street in Miraflores, a few minutes away from Larco Mar, Parque Kennedy, etc. Very clean, fairly new building, 24 hr concierge. Fully equipped kitchen & laundry room. Great communication with the owner and with the local representative. Highly recommended for couples and single travelers. I was reluctant to rent initially, since the unit did not have any reviews. Happy I took a chance - great apartment, great value.
