A BEARY TALE is an incredible one bedroom, one bath fairy tale like cabin, with additional loft sleeping, ideally located in the Smoky mountains, between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, and only 2.5 miles off of the main road (Hwy 441 - The Parkway). Our elevation is at 1,742 ft.

Just minutes away, you will find many attractions in Pigeon Forge such as Dollywood, Dixie Stampede, Splash Country, The Island and The Mill. In the other direction, you will find Gatlinburg's Anakeesta, The Sky Bridge, Old Smoky and Sugarlands Moonshine, Ripley's Aquarium, Jason Aldean's and Old Red's, as well as many outstanding restaurants and events.

Don't forget Ober Gatlinburg for winter skiing, ice skating and snow tubing. Have fun hiking in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Enjoy browsing the quaint shops along the strip in downtown Gatlinburg and visiting the Arts and Crafts Community.

Located on a large wooded lot with level parking. Includes fireplace for winter use, jetted whirlpool tub in master bedroom, fully equipped kitchen with a gas grill and hot tub on back deck.

This is a great cabin in a great location! Prior to arriving, the host provided very helpful information about getting to and accessing the cabin, and was prompt to reply to questions during our stay. The cabin is well maintained, nicely decorated, and very cozy. We will definitely check availability at this location for future trips to the Smoky Mountains!

It was a wonderful cabin in a great location to all activities we choose. Very clean and decorated so beautiful . We enjoyed our trip so much and to top it off we had Snowflakes falling as we were leaving . I would recommend this Cabin and the host. I will be staying here again .

Loved this little cabin for my family of 4! My kids loved the loft area and games provided there! I loved how quiet and peaceful it was and on our last morning there we got to see a momma bear with her 3 cubs right outside our cabin!!!! Best trip ever!

Obviously every traveler has different needs in selecting accommodations. For us, when we travel to the Pigeon Forge, we prefer to have as much privacy as possible and that’s hard to find in such a heavily traveled area. A Beary Tale has all the privacy you’ll ever need if that’s important to you. The cabin is tastefully decorated and has all the comforts of home. It’s perfect for a couple, but there is additional space and sleeping accommodations in the loft area. The location while private, is only about a 10 minute drive to anything you looking for in either Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Lastly, the host for this property communicates very well by getting back to you quickly and was very detailed in directions and property specifics. I can’t imagine a better, more laid back property/host than this one. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

This was our second stay at a Beary Tale. We love the location and quiet. I actually had a bear walk up on me on our first trip, something i will never forget. I would like to see the exterior of the cabin cleaner, like windows cleaned of all the spider webs. The interior was great. The location is great, close to everywhere we like to go.

The hot tub was relaxing and clean. The chemical balance seemed fine. The inside of the cabin was very nice and clean. The owners of the cabin are very fast to reply to any concerns which there were only a couple. Just a couple simple things. One thing, unless you are staying in the summer or fall I would check with the owner about climbing the sorta steep hill/drive getting to the cabin. I lost traction once before I realized not to slow to a crawl coming up the drive. You get used to it after a couple times. The cabin is pretty well secluded and quiet. Anyway you can view the photos for yourself. Looks like what’s in the photos. Thank you owners of the cabin. We enjoyed our stay.

Everything was great. My only problem was something that was my fault for not reading carefully and realizing it only had 1 bathroom. But again that was my fault. Cabin was very nice and clean. Would definitely book again.

A beary good time

My family and I stayed at this beautifully Decorated cabin for 4 nights during a football tournament. Location is remote but close enough to all attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. There was plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids, they especially enjoyed all the bear themed plushies around the cabin, the air hockey table and couldn’t get enough of the PacMan arcade game .We enjoyed the views from the back deck while soaking in the hot tub. Our host responded quickly to every and all questions we had. We definitely would stay here again and highly recommend this location. *we also encountered a bear with her cubs about a block away from the cabin! Loved being able to see all sorts of wildlife.

Amazing Tennessee Trip

We were here at the Beary Tale cabin for the last week! There were 2 of us but the cabin is large enough for 6! Very beautiful, so clean! There were so many items provided (ie. Shampoos, food condiments, extra pillows, etc) and easy to follow directions/instructions! The hot tub and pac man gaming unit made this visit extra special, and the many many bear decor made this a fun experience! There are a couple steep hills on entrance, but we are from Florida and got used to them pretty quickly! Make sure you put your GPS on before leaving the cabin/cities, as reception is minimal in the woods (as well as spotty in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg). An amazing vacation, would love to return!!

Beautiful cabin away from the hustle and bustle but just a short trip to all the attractions. Absolutely Loved our stay. Very comfy and cozy. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Very nice cabin

The cabin was very clean. I had trouble with the electronic door lock. I messaged the owner and they messaged back in like 30 seconds. It looks exactly as described. Everything worked inside the cabin. Had video games and a air hockey table. We had a great time.The road up to the cabin is rough at night time as there are no street lights. Google maps takes you right to the door. Would stay again. My wife loved the bear theme.
