Playa Langosta is a high-end neighborhood in Tamarindo, Surrounded by multi-million dollar homes and exuberant nature, this is the best place for vacations.
It is located a short 2-minute drive on a brand new cement road or a 15-minute walk where you will be able to see monkeys and exotic birds along the way.

The beach has tide pools perfect for little kids to discover colorful fish and your occasional octopus.
Towards the estuary (less than 100 from the public entrance) you have calm and refreshing waters with plenty of shade and right in front of it you have the local's favorite surf spot, It is common to see lots of people with their surfboards walking around or even in their bicycles.

There is a store with all the products you need and 3 restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

The guests will have access to the entire property.

Tamarindo is 1 hour away from the Liberia Airport, you can arrange shuttles or car rentals through us with special prices and discounts.

Once in Tamarindo you can rely on the informal taxi service or rent an ATV to move around and discover some amazing beaches 30 minutes away from us.

We had an excellent overall experience in this VRBO. It was exactly what we needed. Quiet, private, restful, right on the beach, well appointed with great host support for rare challenges. Pros (there are many)- Costa Ricans — they are a lovely people and provided excellent prompt and professional hosting support.- The accommodations: - larger than the photos suggest. - The proximity to the beach! (Stones throw from the balcony). - small gated community in which you are the only renter among perhaps 8 condos. Very safe. Though CR is pretty darn safe. - location: the location is amazing… if we you want people turn right on the beach and head towards Playa Tamarindo - if you want a beautiful near empty beach then just turn left in to the protected lands (check your tides for crossing the estuary — LOW Tide!!) - IT COMES WITH BOOGIE BOARDS!! My wife and I were young again! So much fun! - The washer and drier are a real plus - The beds are firm and good quality - The AC is excellent, though with the amazing sound of the waves so close you’ll want your patio door open. The Hosts: RPM was great start to finish and we will seek them out again when renting in CR. We were the first since rainy season and a couple of mechanical items were acting up. They were in within hours… - fast wifi (40Mbs out on the porch is awesome)The Neighbours are lovely and great sources of information. 273 restaurants. Lots within walking distance.
The pool area and walkways are very well lit
The pool was the perfect temperature and clean. Caretaker is excellent
You’ll end up with dozens of sunset pics. Straight out of the complex is the best.
I was trying to catch the sunset you see every day. The view is between a large gap in the trees… but go down to the beach!! Every day!! And sit. It’s a CR thing!

Enjoyed our stay

Excellent location, good detailed email explaining checkin process. Thanks he only issues which we faced was also managed within a day -AC wasn’t running in kids room. The only issue which Mrs faced was very less cutleries in the kitchen. Especially when cooking pans etc.

Amazing!

Our stay was wonderful! The house was perfect for our family of 5. The location to the beach to explore and swim was perfect. The kids loved being able to walk a few steps and be on the beach! The area was very quiet with close proximity to the town. The pizza place and Indian restaurant that are just across the street were both excellent! I’m so glad we chose to stay here for our first time to Costa Rica!

My family and i stayed at this property here a couple of weeks ago. The property was amazing and the people were wonderful. Highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the area.

Comfortable, clean, and right on the beach!

We absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed for several weeks and loved how the property was right on the beach, close to town where there was several grocery stores, and it was very quite and peaceful. We will certainly stay here again.

Lovely beachfront condo in quaint neighborhood

This lovely condo has so many wonderful features: beach front, gated community, beautiful grounds, friendly cleaning and maintenance crew, pool, well equipped bath and kitchen, all in the quiet neighborhood of Langosta. This property is within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, and of course the beach! While the beachfront immediately in front of the unit is rocky, a very short walk down the beach opens up a surprisingly different beach experience, with waves large enough to surf or just wade in to enjoy the luxurious warm Pacific waters. The concierge German was very helpful before we arrived and during our stay. He was there to assist us with anything we needed, from restaurant recommendations, golf cart rental, chef services, excursions, and taxi/airport transfers. The condo has a nice large family gathering space inside, an open kitchen, full washer/dryer, and our favorite feature- the beach view terrace! There was interesting wildlife to view on the property, including iguanas, monkeys, and birds. We had an amazing experience in the Tamarindo area, and staying in this condo with all the amenities it provided was a large part of that. I highly recommend this property, and hope to come back soon!

Beautiful location

The property is great and the view is beautiful. The property is a little older, but the kitchen is completely updated and the a/c worked great. It had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Villa Longosta, great spot!

Great location, close enough to Tamarindo downtown but a bit away to be quiet. The unit is clean and as described. Everything we needed was available. The grounds are secure and well taken care of. The access to the beach is great and the view is amazing. Sitting on the balcony in the morning and at the end of the day was a great way to start and end the day.

Great location, view of ocean, easy walk to store and town

This condo is well represented online. Looks like the photos and the staff at the property were always around, day or night, if needed. We enjoyed the quiet, private, (and gated) surroundings and the condo property is landscaped beautifully. We would stay here again. One suggestion would be to add a kettle to use in the kitchen for us tea drinkers. One other note - there is a bright light that shines all night by the beach gate (my guess is for security), that does shine directly into the block glass window in master bedroom (no window covering for that spot). We never addressed it, as it did not disrupt our sleep, but if light bothers you, bring an eye mask. Communication with the property managers was easy and they offered to help with anything we asked. We recommend this place - a great stay!

Great Location

We loved the unit. The location and view were amazing! The caretakers and managers are responsive and fantastic. If you are looking for luxury accommodations, this is probably not the unit for you. Could use some updating, some touch-up paint, and better mattresses, but we loved it!!

Just a short walk to access the beach for walking on sand, swimming, exploring the tide pools or even walking to town.Upgraded amenities in the condo enhance the experience. The pool and grounds are well kept. It is a small complex with friendly people. The management company staff are very helpful. A great place to stay.

A valance in the bedroom was falling down. It has visible animal droppings on top of the whole thing. That was gross. In addition the valances were hung too low, therefore the windows could not be opened. The windows were very dirty making it hard to clearly see the ocean. We told the rental company of our issues twice (b/c no one came this first time they said they would) then the following day 2 mainenance workers came over. They only cleaned the windows, did nothing about the falling down valance or animal droppings on top of it. My husband cleaned the droppings the best he could, howerer some of it was over the old jacuzzi tub so we did not use it. That is what initially sold us on renting that place. What a waste.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was not ready for occupancy:some debris on the floor,chaise lounge pads stacked in the dining area along with folding chairs,no hot water (resolved),jacuzzi tub wasnt operating and when filled with *cold* water. black scum floated from jets.Shower floor filled with water due to improper draining. Mattress in need of replacement.Bed is hard and creaky (noisy).One of the hinges on the safe was broken.Sliding door to balcony wasnt lockable,had to use wooden stick to *lock* the door.
