Luxury Beach Cottage with Breathtaking Ocean Views

[We do not advertise on Craigslist] Our minimum stay is 3 days or more. The beauty of Santa Barbara awaits you in this exquisitely designed and lavishly appointed cottage by the sea. With the help of an architect, interior designer, and skilled construction team, this beach cottage underwent a complete remodel and has been professionally decorated; not a detail has been missed! Each room of the house has been carefully designed and decorated to reflect the beach atmosphere and exude feeling of relaxation, comfort, and luxury.

The main living area and open kitchen has a TV home theater and opens up to the ocean through a set of glass wall doors and leads to our outdoor porch full of plush seating and unparalleled ocean and island views. Just off of the main living area is a family room and additional TV. The kitchen boasts a Sub-Zero Refrigerator, granite countertops, a six-burner Dacor stove, a walk-in pantry, a Miele dishwasher, and all the premium cookware a gourmet chef could wish for.

In the three master suites, you will be pampered by the California King Simmons Beautyrest and Westin Heavely mattresses, premium bedding, full baths, flat-screen televisions, and from the downstairs suites French doors that lead to the restful backyard and hot tub. The upstairs master suite has a balcony with a clear view of the harbor and 180 degree ocean views. Plus the living room has a premium queen size hide-a-bed and if needed we also have a premium inflatable queen size air mattress for additional sleeping.

If you decide to venture out, there are six bikes, a kayak, a boogie board, 2 paddle boards and a nine foot Doyle foam surfboard for you to enjoy, as well as an outdoor shower and on property washer and dryer. With hardwood floors, automated skylights, and built-in cabinetry throughout, this light and airy cottage is any vacationer’s dream come true!!

We have smart video devices which monitor both the front yard and front side yard. In addition, the property has an alarm system that is not used during guest stays.

Idyllic ocean view cottage with wonderful amenities.

The house is beautifully appointed. The location was perfect for easy access to outdoor activities.and great local eateries. We were comfortable and felt like we were at home. I've been to Santa Barbra many times and this was by far my favorite place to stay.

Great design of the property - you just want to open the windows and sit on the front patio. People and dog watching is great with the ocean views. We hit perfect weather so A+ experience!

Amazing property/amazing location

All in all, our stay was everything we hoped it to be and more. Great location, convenient to everything and with great views. Kitchen was well stocked and jacuzzi was a nice bonus. The house is not air conditioned and we happened to be there on the two hottest days of the year, but the ceiling fans helped keep it from being too uncomfortable.

Beautiful Home

Lovely spot centrally located on Shoreline on the Mesa above town. Cruiser bikes were super fun. Comfy beds. Beautiful backyard with grill and hot tub. Communications with Jeff were easy and clear. Lazy Acres market up the road is amazing.

Ocean cottage Sanctuary

This was the perfect getaway to wind down after a full day of conference presentations. The place was well maintained, with comfortable seating and sleeping arrangements. the kitchen was fully stocked with ample supplies and even included the much appreciated Espresso machine. The only downside is that it is booked for the next 12+ months.

Great house/great landlord!

The home is clean, well appointed, very comfortable, well laid out, has a great location, has a nice view, has a great landlord (responds to any and all issues very quickly) has a bathroom for every bedroom plus a guest bathroom, and we couldn't ask for more. Thanks Jeff!

Fabulous home in Santa Barbara

My husband and I just spent two months in beautiful Santa Barbara at this lovely home on Shoreline Drive, across the street from the park and ocean. My husband really enjoyed the activity out in the front! Plus the view to the ocean was great. The home was really attractive (angles in the house were very interesting) and extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed linens were high quality, and there were plenty of towels. We had everything we needed, and while we didn't meet the owner, Jeff was extremely quick to respond to any question or concern. We loved living in this home for two months and hope to return again next year.

Great Location and Comfortable Home

Everything we needed was included in our 9 day rental from a well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, and room to spread out for two families of three. The porch overlooking the ocean was where we spent most of our hang out time (and the hot tub which was very clean.) The location was just right as it put us close (but not too close to town) and the owners supplied bikes and beach towels which was helpful! Jeff and Wendy were very responsive to our questions and they left good directions for when we arrived to get acclimated to the house. First real bit of travel we have done since the pandemic, and we were grateful for an effortless experience.

This home is absolutely incredible!! It's a beautifully decorated beach cottage that makes you feel transported from the inside pages of a magazine into a real life home you get to pretend is your own!! Jeff is great to work with and very accessible. The home has everything you need to relax, enjoy, and soak in the the Santa Barbara vibe. It's fantastic location makes it easy to explore SB and all it has to offer.The house and everything in it is high quality and very accommodating. Also, a plus, great parking for visitors right across the street! Thanks Jeff!! We loved it!

Amazing Home & Host

This house exceeded all of our expectations. From the beautiful decor to the incredible amenities, this house has IT ALL! We were six adults and one child and had more than enough room to relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean views and incredible backyard space. I cannot recommend this house enough and Jeff was the perfect host. 5-stars and we can't wait to stay again!

Great view, pristine home, had everything we needed, great view and steps away from surfing!

My husband and 3 kids and myself stayed a week and truly enjoyed the home! The location was so perfect! Steps away from the beach to go surfing, minutes away from downtown! Loved the porch where we would hang out and drink wine in the late afternoons... Each and every room was perfect and in every little corner or door where instructions on EVERYTHING about the home. I always felt at home there. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Wonderful Stay, Wonderful Accommodation, First class host

We had a wonderful holiday at Santa Barbara whilst staying at this property in Feb 2016 It really is first class accommodation, the decor, facilities and location are all superb. We really enjoyed being able to walk down into Santa Barbara most days, when we weren't out exploring the wonderful wine country in Santa Ynez. We would also call out what a good host, Jeff is. Funnily enough we say that and we haven't actually met him, he likes to let guests have their privacy, but when we had a logistical problem with the VBRO payment system during the booking he was really really helpful. This was particularly reassuring as we had booked and were travelling from the UK. Thanks again Jeff!

Beautiful - inside and out

The home accommodated six people (three generations) with ease. Part of the house had been recently renovated, but the whole house felt "new". Premium finishes, linens, etc. The floor plan was just right...we could be together or apart. The weather was unseasonably warm and the house doesn't have air-conditioning. Between the fans (in every room) and ocean breezes, we were very comfortable. The family space off the kitchen has folding doors that open to the outside with a view to the park across the street and ocean. It's the best room in the house. We started (coffee) and ended (wine) every day there. The owner was very accessible and timely when we needed him. I would return to the area just to stay in the house again.

Lovely Home, Incredible Views & Lots of Extras

Our family had a wonderful stay in this lovely home with an incredible panoramic view of the ocean. We had 3 couples here & it worked out perfectly... each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of space for together time, but also roomy enough for everyone to also have alone time... There is lots to do within walking distance & with the ocean right across the street the activities are endless. Owner provided bicycles... which were used every day, there was also a kayak, paddle board & other sporting equipment available for our use. We loved relaxing on the front porch, feeling the ocean breeze & basking in the beauty of the ocean & beautiful trees... Beautiful home, decor, location & owner was very friendly & quick to answer any questions we had... Everyone had such a great time; we are already trying to plan a time when we can come back... This is definitely going to be a favorite vacation spot... our only regret is that we were not able to stay longer..

Very nice beach house with perfect location

We stayed for a small week in the house. We were very happy. The house is well equipped, with all you need. Also in the kitchen, towels ect. Best, BBQ, Jacuzzi, music-systems (Sonos!). Thanks for very well furnished, decorated and cosy house Jeff.

Beautiful vacation home and unforgettable stay in SB

The house is spotless. We stayed here for a wonderful week for my son's graduation from UCSB. The location is perfect, the view is unbeatable. The house is beautifully decorated with fully equipped kitchen and backyard BBQ grill. The outdoor patio is such a highlight. You could just sit and relax feeling the cool ocean breeze and chatting with families. The owner is very helpful with all the inquiries. The Lazy Acres healthy food store is such a plus for this vacation home. Just a mile away you could get all you need. We walked every morning and Saturday seafood market near the yacht club is also a fun if you are seafood lover. The linen is quality ones. You feel like 5 star setting resort. We would definitely go back again and again.

Beautiful escape!

We echo all of the great comments about this home. We were in Santa Barbara for a long weekend and the home provided a perfect location for all of our activities. While we did explore much of the Santa Barbara area, we quickly determined that our favorite activity was sitting on the outdoor patio. We were hypnotized by the beautiful aqua colored water, the cool ocean breezes, and the heavenly setting. This is a place to go back to again and again!

This home is absolutely beautiful. My husband and I and our 4 grown children and 2 grand children just spent last week there. It is fully equipped and in a convenient location to access the beach and there is a nearby park for young children to play. The only down side currently is that you will feel you are in a construction zone from 7:00am to 3:00pm daily because there is a home being built right next door and there are workers there with power tools, hammers, nail guns, foul language and loud music. It made it difficult for our family to enjoy this pristine location and outdoor patio during the daylight hours. We felt this should have been disclosed and it wasn't. Other than that. we give this place 5 stars!!

Our stay at the beach cottage was perfect in every respect. The property is located with wonderful views of the ocean. It's near good walking and biking areas. The beach cottage is beautifully designed and tastefully decorated. It has all equipment for a comfortable stay. A great place to relax.

Wonderful Vacation Beach Home and stay in Santa Barbara

We had two couples spending the week in Feb. 2014 at this very nice and comfortable home. We love that there were bikes, helmets and other active gear available for our use. We enjoyed every aspect of this stay in this home. We highly recommend it.

Wonderful waterfront getaway

We enjoyed a long weekend with two couples having coffee on the front porch with the sunrise. Centrally located, yet far enough from the city hustle. Will definitely come back if we get the opportunity!
