Long weekend at Baypoint

The pictures didn't do this place justice. Me and my family had a great time here. We rented a boat and 2 sea doos from a marina less than 5 minutes away and had tons of room for them on the dock. Everything was clean and there were no bad surprises.

The Perfect Family Vacation

The house was just as described in the posting on VRBO. It’s was very clean and the lake front property was nothing short of amazing. The communication with the owner was great and our stay was perfect. It’s a beautiful waterfront cottage. Everything was exactly as described! We would rent this again 100 percent.

Superb property!

Family of 4 with two young kids. Proximity to water, shallow entry, dock, cleanliness, host responsiveness, and cottage amenities were all excellent. Could not have asked for better. Not a single thing to complain about. Thank you Baypoint!

Wonderful Vacation!

We had a fantastic week at Baypoint with our family of four! The cottage is beautiful, very comfortable, clean and well maintained. It is evident that the owners take great care of the property. The cottage is very spacious and has every possible eating area you could hope for – lovely Muskoka room, outdoor dining table on the porch, formal dining room and breakfast nook! We spent most nights eating outside where we enjoyed the most breathtaking view of Lake Joseph. The location of the cottage is perfect on a quiet bay and we frequently used the canoe, kayaks and paddle boards provided on the dock. We wished we could have stayed longer and definitely hope to be back - thank you for a wonderful week!

A wonderful week at Lake Joseph

This was our third vacation home rental in the Muskoka Lakes region and everyone in our family of five adults ranked it at the top. The experience of staying at Baypoint Landing truly lived up to the caption in the VRBO listing "Once Discovered, Never Forgotten". The bedrooms were comfortable and beautifully presented, and the availability of three bathrooms was very convenient. The well equipped kitchen with its bay window view of the dock and lake made even cleaning the dishes feel good. We appreciated the multiple areas with dining tables, next to the kitchen, in the large dining room, in the screened sunroom or on the patio. The amazing centerpiece, the 'great room' is so inviting and entices everyone to socialize, rain or shine, even ignoring the big screen TV in favor of playing games. Last but not least, the immediate lakeside location with shallow water access next to the extensive dock rounds everything off very nicely. We were happy to have the use of kayaks, paddle board and canoe. And thanks to the large area of shallow water at the shoreline, our three year old dog overcame his shyness of water, went in and started swimming for the first time in his life. The week went bye too quickly, and we hope we can come back again next year.

Wonderful stay

Wonderful, well-equipped and clean cottage. Close to amenities (within 15 min drive) and yet feels far away enough to experience the relaxing lake-front cottage experience. We spent a week here with my family (my parents and my children), and everyone enjoyed themselves. The lake was shallow near the property with a sandy bottom - which was a hit with my kids. The cottage was also well equipped with water sporting equipment to entertain the adults, and a number of different lounging spots for when you want to just relax with a glass of wine and a good book. The cottage was clean, and stocked with all the necessities needed for a week's stay. Thank you for a memorable family vacation. We will definitely be back.

Lovely vacation on Lake Joseph

We had a great time at this cottage. Location is fantastic, situated in a quiet bay. The cottage itself is clean, spacious with a very good compliment of supplies. The owner is responsive to everything we needed and very respectful of our privacy. Entry to the lake is swallow and great for swimming. All in all a great vacation and we will definitely be back to this gem. Thank you for allowing us to rent your cottage. It has been an absolute pleasure for us. Highly recommended.

Wonderful cottage on quiet bay

We had a wonderful stay at Baypoint, the cottage had every amenity you could need. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. My family ate every meal in the lovely screened in porch, beautiful views. The most enjoyable part was the shallow waters, very child (and dog!) friendly. We used the kayaks and canoe daily, appreciated the lifejackets too. Hjghly recommend!

Very nice cottage on beautiful lake.

The cottage is very clean and well organized. It has everything you need, just check in and relax. We enjoyed the canoe, kayaks, paddle board and swimming In the lake. It is close to many cute cities to meet all your needs. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get away and enjoy Muskoka. Great week making family memories.

Impeccably maintained cottage, perfect getaway

My wife and I (and our dog) spent a marvellous long weekend at Baypoint recently. We were looking for a quiet place to unwind and relax and we found it. The cottage is incredibly well-equipped and clean. Indoors it had everything to ensure we didn't have to think about anything (our goal). Outdoors we spent our time on the long dock eating breakfast, reading and taking advantage of the kayaks. Our dog even learned how to swim. I would highly recommend this for a romantic getaway, a family outing or with a few adult friends. The lake is perfect, the neighbours not too close and we're coming back as soon as we can.

Family fishing weekend!

My family started enjoying the beauty of Muskoka in the summer of 1969. Every year since then we have rented a cottage and Baypoint offers a first class experience. My father is 86 years old and having the cottage close to the water with little to no stairs for him to travel from cottage to dock is a luxury. The cottage itself offers all the amenities and pride of ownership is clearly evident. We just completed our annual fishing weekend which resulted in a boat full of small mouth bass and wonderful family memories. If you simply want to read on the dock, swim, canoe, fish and lower your blood pressure......Baypoint is the place to go. Treating the cottage with respect ensures an invite back the next year. Thanks to the owners for years of enjoyment!!

Incredibly Lake Home

My wife and I had the extreme privilege of taking my in-laws to this outstanding lake home for a week in August. Not knowing what to expect prior to arriving, this beautiful home on the water exceeded all of our expectations. Every detail was well thought out and prepared for right down to the scrubbing pads for the BBQ. The kitchen was very well stocked with all of the latest utensils and appliances. The entire home was very well decorated and cared for leaving us wanted nothing more. This was a luxury home on a beautiful piece of property facing the lake with outstanding views. We will definitely be re-booking for the new year!! Thank you very much David and family. It was an extreme pleasure and can't wait to get back there! We would certainly recommend staying here to anyone seeking an awesome relaxing vacation getaway!

Beautiful home

We stayed in this beautiful home for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The pictures do not do any justice as the actual place is much nicer.The place is super clean and located in a beautiful location. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to come back. Great Vacation for families and Mature Adults

We recently completed our 3-week vacation at Baypoint. The property was excellent on all counts. We had an ideal amount of personal space along with our time together. The highlight is, of course, being right on the water of Lake Joseph. The shallow waters make swimming very enjoyable for all ages. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. There were no short falls with every day necessities. Linens and towels are new and fresh, and the decorating inside is beautiful. The cottage was very clean upon arrival. We have vacationed every year for 30 years in the Muskoka area, and this place is by far the best place we have stayed at yet.

Wee-End Retreat

Thank you for a wonderful weekend. This was the most beautiful cottage we've ever been to. We had a great time on the deck, in the water, by the fire and not to mention with all the amenities in the cottage. It was truly a stress free weekend. Vacation

We were in dire need of a family vacation and your cottage was the perfect escape. The kids loved roasting marshmallows, swimming and watching a sweet mama duck and her 5 babies swim by for many daily visits. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautiful cottage!
