A retreat in the Médoc—peace, nature, and the Atlantic Ocean just a 10-minute drive away

Our detached vacation home near Vendays-Montalivet is situated on a 10,000 m² lot surrounded by trees—quiet, secluded, and offering plenty of privacy. It’s a special place for guests who are seeking tranquility, nature, and proximity to the Atlantic coast. With 92 m² of living space, the house features: two bedrooms with double beds, an open-concept living and dining area with a kitchen, a wood-burning stove for cozy evenings (firewood provided), a guest bathroom, and Wi-Fi. The outdoor area invites you to enjoy relaxing days: a south-facing terrace, a breakfast area in front of the house, a sheltered seating area bordered by a stone wall, a garden shower, and a large above-ground pool. The natural property is completely secluded with no immediate neighbors—ideal for relaxation and undisturbed time. The Atlantic Ocean, with its wide beaches, is about 10 minutes away. The Médoc region combines the sea, nature, and wine: long sandy beaches, dune landscapes, small markets, and renowned wineries characterize the surroundings. Shopping options are available in the town center (approx. 4 km) as well as in the surrounding villages. Our house is perfect for people who appreciate and are looking for a quiet and cozy vacation home on the Atlantic coast. Suitable for up to 4 people, preferably couples or friends of couples in their middle to later years. Since we also live in our vacation home ourselves, we welcome guests who will treat our home with the same care and respect they would expect for their own home. Our vacation home can be rented for stays as short as one week. However, many guests also enjoy a two-week stay to explore the Atlantic coast and the Médoc at their own pace. Check-in: Saturday; non-smoking home; pets not allowed. We are German owners and are happy to respond to inquiries in German or English. We’re happy to communicate with French-speaking guests using a translation app if needed.
