This two bedroom home is fully furnished with a main floor bedroom (Two TwinXL which can be combined as King with gel topper),
the second floor primary (California king) with private ensuite.
There is a double sleeper sofa in the living room with luxury linens and a 3' gel memory foam topper.

The large dining room table will comfortably accommodate 6 people and there are plenty of dishes for those large gathering meals! The large living room with soaring 20' ceilings and views of Kohala Mountain is perfect for relaxing, playing games from our extensive collection, listening to music, or watching the large TV.

The main floor lanai, equipped with outdoor kitchen/BBQ, outdoor couch, and dining area is a perfect place to enjoy throughout the day. The upstairs private lanai off the Primary is a great place for watching sunsets or enjoying your morning Kona coffee. The view is spectacular with glimpses of the ocean and majestic views of Kohala Mountain. Each lanai is tastefully furnished for your comfort and enjoyment. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, anniversary, a new job, retirement, or simply celebrating the sunshine, our home is sure to create a great experience.

Important: The community this home is in only allows for one exterior vehicle parking spot per home. One parking pass is issued and any vehicles not displaying a pass are subject up to a $250 for each violation. Guests will be responsible for any fines resulting from parking violations. Things to do:

Staying in Kulalani gives you full access to its Recreation Center with fitness equipment and multiple hot tubs and lap pool, free form pool and kiddie pool.

You can also take advantage of the clean private beach club staffed with lifeguards and the Napua Restaurant just two miles away. Excellent snorkeling in calm waters! We include at no extra cost a gate card to allow you access and use of this private Mauna Lani Beach Club.

We are happy to provide bikes for families to enjoy and explore the Mauna Lani Resort. We have a large assortment of bike helmets and bike lock.

A short drive away are the six (6) of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breath-taking Mauna Kea beach.

The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven (7) challenging courses all within 7 miles of our villa.

Minutes down the street is the Shops at Mauna Lani where you can find supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings.

Great unit. Fun to sip morning coffee and afternoon wine from the lanais. Unit had all kinds of beach gear. Beds were comfortable. The nearby pool for the complex was great - family pool, adult pool and fitness center. The complex is very private and close to world class beaches.

New Year's Delight

Our stay at Tranquility Villa was fantastic - we returned home feeling incredibly relaxed. We really appreciated all of the beach gear in the garage - the wagon came in handy for hauling the boogie boards and chairs to the beach. We especially had a great time at Hapuna Beach and loved the Fish and the Hog in Wailea. We can't wait to return!

Stay cation away from home

We just wanted to get away from the rain and this was perfect. Quiet and pool was perfect loved the hot tub!!! It was one of our favorites and the hours were great. Bed was very comfortable. Mahalo.

Great family getaway

This was an excellent choice for us- spacious, comfortable with great amenities, and everything we needed for our kids too. Our girls loved the pool and the beach club was awesome. It made our lives so much easier to have the basic child gear (high chair, pack n play, baby monitor) included. The guide was very helpful too. Would definitely stay here again.

Tranquillity Villa

Excellent location with access to private beach club and a black sand beach close by with great snorkeling. The unit is exceptionally clean, well stocked for cooking. The garage has bikes, and all the beach gear one needs. It is very quiet and as title says tranquil. When we return to Big Island, this will be our first choice to stay

A great stay

We only had a few days to stay at this home and wish I could have stayed longer. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped, and the extra touches like the bikes and full assortment of beach gear made our stay effortless. Loved the view of mountain from the lanai while reading a book. Hapuna beach waves were perfect for boogie boarding. We saw the tennis racquets in the garage but ran out of time. Can't wait to come back every-year and will stay longer next time.

Amazing place, great location

We had the best time on our visit to the big island. Our stay at this condo in mauna lani was fabulous. It is a very nice place. Two stories and lots of room. We traveled with our 16 month old and he loved playing outside on the grass. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. It was also so great having a beach wagon and beach toys and not having to pack them. Beach club is a 5 minute drive. Pool is walking distance and really nice. Would recommend this place and location to anyone but especially families!

Beautiful property and very convenient location to amenties as well as our other family members. Loved the access to the private beach club and the beach toys and bikes. Cleanliness of the unit was so so. Upon arrival the floor was still full of dirt, food crumbs etc. and living room furniture desparatly needs to be cleaned. Overall though unit was great and communication with property owners and management company was wonderful.

Wonderful Villa in Beautiful Setting

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely villa during the last week of August. The property manager was amazingā€” hustled to accommodate us after our prior rental fell through, was friendly, communicative and professional. The property itself is on an exceptionally pretty lot, surrounded by flowering trees and very private. The unit was very clean, well appointed, had comfortable beds. The garage is filled with beach chairs, toys, bikes, snorkeling gear, everything you might need at the beach. It is located about 1/4 mile from a wonderful grocery market that has a variety of delicious food and necessities. We would stay again in a heartbeatā€”and look forward to our next visit. Nice and well appointed

This is a nice property that is well stocked for Hawaii. Nice location and neighborhood, but it is not walking distance to the beach. I recommend you rent a golf cart as you can easily get around to beach and shops within the resort with a cart. Nice gym and pool area and having access to beach club was critical. Property manager and their process is very organized and communicative. My only negative is they could update the furnishings as they are a little outdated, especially the couch. It is extremely old and uncomfortable. Mattresses are nice and new.

Paradise

This property was terrific. It is in a gated community in Mauna Lani which is a beautiful spot on the western side of the island, north of the Kona airport. The weather was beautiful all week in this location compared to other areas of the island we visited. The condo is near a supermarket and a few shops including a favorite lunch spot - Juice101. The condo amenities were ideal- beautiful pools, hot tub, and gym. It also came with access to the Mauna Lani Beach Resort which was a beautiful small beach in a cove close to the condo. The snorkeling was wonderful and it was close enough to bike to from the condo. The condo has everything you need for your vacation- well equipped kitchen, outside grill and sitting area, bikes, snorkel gear, beach gear, etc. The host was very responsive. This was an excellent spot to serve as a base for our exploration of the Big Island. We loved it here. It was perfect in every way for our family.

This townhouse really exceeded our expectations. Weā€™re very seasoned travelers, and have rented w/VRBO since its inception. We usually prefer to rent from owners, but Paradise in Hawaii (who manages this one) was fantastic.The kitchen was well stocked and every dish was clean. There were high quality products in the bathrooms, soft towels, buttery bed linens and a wonderful layout for two people or a family with a couple kids. We turned off the AC when we got there and never touched it til we left. We opened all the windows, turned the fans on low, and enjoyed the sounds of Hawaii as we slept. It was dreamy. The location is perfect, and the pass to the Mauna Lani beach club is key. Thereā€™s a petroglyph park minutes from the unit where lots of people go to watch the sunset each night. It had such a lovely community vibe to it. We appreciated the garage- filled with everything you could possibly need, including bikes. Itā€™s the best stocked unit for beach gear I have ever seen.The master, located upstairs, has a wonderful deck overlooking the lawn excellent for coffee or sipping wine. The whole complex is gorgeous, and quiet, which we appreciated. The 2nd bedroom is downstairs, as well as the non en-suite bathroom. It was handy to have 2 bathrooms, but know that the 2nd bedroom is far less grand than the master, so keep that in mind if renting with 2 couples. Overall we were really thrilled with this unit and the location. Highly recommend!

Nettes Eckhaus in Kulalani

Freundliches und einladendes Haus in Kulalani, der einzige Nachteil ist die komplette Nordausrichtung, d.h. zu keiner Tageszeit (zumindest im November) hat man die Mƶglichkeit auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und die Sonne zu genieƟen. Great Big Island Condo Near Gorgeous Beaches!

Wonderful stay, only one glitch with freezer/ice maker where we had to buy a bag of ice & luckily there was an extra chest freezer for us to move our frozen food into. The mgmt. company did send a technician out to fix it. Otherwise, lovely time, pretty garden/Mt. View from lower & upper lanais, great BBQ that had no problem getting hot, great beach access to private Mauna Lani Beach Club, great pool & close to awesome Hapuna & Mauna Kea beaches! Saw a huge manta ray at Hapuna one morning. Fabulous snorkeling, we rented from Kohala Diverā€™s & equipment was great, no leaks, Great pizza at Pueoā€™s Italian restaurant in Waikoloa Village too! We would for sure stay at Tranquility Villa again!

Perfect for our family!

We loved having access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club! Great place to snorkel. Beautiful clear blue warm ocean water! Loved! Community pool is two buildings down which was perfect walking distance. Need a rental car or golf cart to get to the beach. House is well stocked- nice beach towels, beds were comfortable, washer/dryer were new and worked great. Garage well stocked with snorkel gear, coolers, chairs etcā€¦ Life vests are old school buckle jackets, but we brought our kids Costco life vests that zip so that wasnā€™t an issue. Thought Iā€™d post just in case other people wondered what types were provided. Pots/pans, couches are getting worn/uncomfortable, but they are clean and this wasnā€™t an issue for us at all and is expected with a rental unit. Outdoor grill is amazing!! Not a whole lot of restaurants nearby ; need to drive to Waikoloa (10 min drive) or Kona (35-40 min drive). You can walk to Fairmont Orchid resort, little Mauna Lani shopping center (pizza place, Tommy Bahama restaurant, small market). We would definitely rent this unit again. We had a wonderful stay.

Great property and location

Perfect for our family of 4. Close to the pool, close to many great beaches and the private beach club was awesome as well. Loved our morning walks around Mauna Lani.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We live on island and was looking for a staycation! Our family loved having unlimited access to the beach club! Foodland was awesome a so close to the complex where this condo is! Attention to detail and amenities overall was awesome! A definite ā€œHana Houā€ for our ā€˜ohana to visit again!

Tranquility Villa provided everything we need

Bright, comfortable, and well-equipped unit. A perfect size for two couples or a smaller family. Great location very close to Kulalani's fitness center, pool and spa areas. Quiet, lovely setting offering beautiful mountain views of Mauna Kea from the living room, master bedroom, and both patios (upstairs off the master and downstairs off the dining room). We enjoyed leisurely dinners on the L-shaped main patio most nights, using the Viking gas grill, outdoor counter and sink. Lots of bikes, coolers and beach gear available for renters to use in the single-stall garage, plus we stored our suitcases, golf travel bags and inflatable paddle boards in it. (We parked our rental car outside in one of the six spots nearby.) From start to finish the property's managements team provided clear communication, detailed orientation and prompt responses. Overall, Tranquility Villa offers great value inside Mauna Lani. (This was our fourth stay of 8-15 days each in a Kulalani property.) We would gladly rent this unit again and heartily recommend it for your consideration.. We were very pleased!
