In winter, the snow is at your feet. With the nearby Millennium Express, you can quickly reach Nassfeld, the largest ski area in Carinthia with 110 kilometers of slopes. For families and beginners, the smaller Weissbriach ski resort around the corner is an ideal alternative, while ice skating enthusiasts can enjoy themselves on lake Pressegger See or lake Weissensee.

As summer arrives, the lakes in the region transform into fantastic swimming paradises. Lake Pressegger See – also referred to as the 'bathtub of the Gailtal' – reaches water temperatures up to 28°C and offers, like the idyllic lake Weissensee with its crystal-clear turquoise water, officially drinking water quality.
