In our rustic house Il Torrione you will find all the peacefulness that only Tuscany can offer the visitor.
Our customers will find this large apartment in Radicondoli, town in the green of Tuscany hills, composed by three bedrooms, bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room and a lounge dug from a medieval round tower connected to the kitchen by a descending steps. The house is a rustic made of stones and outside you can take a look to the amazing countryside from our garden while taking a bath in our private pool. The house has also TV, a Jacuzzi and Internet by Wi-Fi.
In this area you could take time out to visit some of Italy's most beautiful cities and sampling the exceptional wines that hail from the area in local restaurants. If you won't spend your time going around cities you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the house and have a relaxing holiday.
This house is placed in a very convenient location for visiting the most important cities of Tuscany: Siena, Florence and Pisa are all easily accessible by car or public transport.

Tuscan escape

Spectacular views,remote location, friendly and very helpful hosts as well as people in the village. Wonderful restaurants! A car is a must as you need transportation to go anywhere, but close proximity for daytime adventures! A perfect place to relax and enjoy Tuscany! Our host, phenomenal, accomodating and engaging! If our travel should bring us this way again,we would most definitely return! Ciao

Charming property in a quiet village location

We had a lovely week at this apartment. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and spacious , the view from the garden and pool, beautiful. The host supplied thoughtful extras - basic food provisions, wine and and even a homemade dish of wild boar pasta! Delicious! This really made us feel at home. The village is small and quiet, not at all touristy which appealed to us. Being located in the village, two small shops for provisions, a bank and bakery are only a couple of minutes walk away. During our stay we visited Volterra, San Gimignano, and Siena. They were all within easy reach by car. (Less than an hour - Volterra a bit further) Just wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Elisa and family.

Great rental in small Tuscany town

This is a large apartment on the ground floor of a building in Radicondoli, a small village with a couple of restaurants, small grocery shops, and typical Tuscan village life. We arrived to find the owner, Elise, was ready for us. (She and her mother live above the unit, so are available if needed - like when we did not understand the washer!). Elise had left us a bottle of wine, bread, pasta and cookies. During our stay we were surprised with a pan of wild boar stew cooked by her mother, absolutely delicious! Radicondoli is a good base for exploring the region, which has several fascinating hill towns, a geothermal area, and lots of country restaurants. A dip in the sparkling clean pool was a great way to end a day.

Perfect Tuscan Getaway

Il Torrione was the perfect Tuscan getaway for our family. My husband and 2 kids had the pleasure of staying on this property for 2 weeks in July. With the third bedroom we also had friends/family come join us for part of the time. From the moment we walked through the iron gate of the house entrance we knew we found the perfect location. The house is located in the small walled city of Radicondoli. There is a small grocery "Coop" store, bakery, art gallery and 3-4 restaurants just steps out of the front door. The house is very private with lush plants and trees that make you feel like you're in the country. The views are AMAZING! From the gorgeous pool you overlook the tranquil countryside. We spent so much time relaxing and swimming and playing games on the beautiful patio. We really didn't feel like we needed to go anywhere although we did take several excursions to some nearby towns (including our favorite city of Volterra which was about an hour drive away). The house was completely stocked with all you need - fully equipped and updated kitchen. The kitchen was bigger than the pictures shows. The house was very comfortable and stayed cool all day even though it was 100 degrees outside! The pool was a necessity for our kids. It was kept very clean and the patio furniture and seating was great with shade over the outdoor dining table. We also used the outdoor grill several times. The owners were always available if we needed them but were also out of view - our house felt very private. As a bonus they also made us a couple delicious meals of wild boar and lamb! That was a completely wonderful surprise. This was exactly the vacation home we were looking for and I would recommend this house to my family and friends and hope to come back again!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Radicondoli! Das Ferienhaus war genau wie beschrieben – gemütlich, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Vermieterin war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, und auch die Menschen im Ort waren durchweg freundlich und offen – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns für das köstliche, selbstgemachte Ragù – eine wirklich nette Geste, die uns sehr gefreut hat.Insgesamt ein rundum schöner Aufenthalt in einer traumhaften Umgebung.

Wat ons verbljf in Il Torrione onvergetelijk maakt? 1. Het feit dat je logeert in een huis (toren van de oude stadswal) dat al 1.000 jaar oud is, met een adembenemend uitzicht op het Toscaanse heuvellandschap. 2. Dat je zo de deur uitloopt het hart van het dorp Radicondoli in, een cappuccino en een lekkernij bestelt in het dorpscafé (of zo’n heerlijk Italiaans ijsje) 3. Verrukkelijk kunt eten bij La Pergola of ietsjes verderop bij Le Canterie. 4. Radicondoli ligt centraal gelegen, en is daarmee een ideale uitvalsbasis voor de beste uitstapjes, zoals naar Siena. En dan het huis. Schoon, comfortabel en met een heerlijk zwembad. Host Elisa zorgt dat alles snel en goed geregeld is en reageert meteen als je vragen hebt. Wij geven deze accommodatie een dikke negen!

Es war einfach zauberhaft. Noch viel schöner als in der Beschreibung. Elisa hat uns mit ihrem Gulasch überrascht, der mega lecker war. Außerdem hat sie sofort für jedes Problem eine Lösung gehabt.Eigentlich gab es keine Probleme. Der Kühlschrank war kaputt gegangen und Elisa hat am nächsten Tag sofort einen neuen besorgt. Top.Auch so gab es in der Unterkunft alles was man für einen Familienurlaub braucht. Sollte doch etwas fehlen, so kann man es im Laden im Ort besorgen.Die Lage ist schön zentral, so dass man viele Städte/ Sehenswürdigkeiten erkunden könnte.Rundum eine tolle Unterkunft für einen schönen Urlaub in der Toskana.

Un lieu paisible ou il fait bon vivre. La vue est extraordinaire depuis le jardin et la piscine. Avec en plus, des tomates cerises, du basilic, de la menthe dans le potager. La literie de qualité nous a permi de très bien dormir. Un panier de bienvenue avec des produit régionaux nous attendait et Elisa nous a fait la surprise de nois apporter une daube de sanglier. Bref, un lieu enchanteur que nous conseillons vivement.

Zwei Wochen Radicondoli Il Torrione

Die Wohnung und der Garten mit Pool sind genau wie beschrieben und traumhaft. Die Lage am Ortsrand mit der Nähe zum Bäcker, Coop (hat alles was man braucht und was die nicht haben bracht man auch nicht!!!), Cafe, Restaurants, usw. und überdachter Parkmöglichkeit (zeitlich eingeschränkt) ist sehr gut. Hervorzuheben sind Elisa und ihre Mutter die sehr freundlich und herzlich bei Bedarf zur Verfügung stehen. Der Blick vom überdachten Terrassenbereich und aus dem Pool heraus in die Toskana ist einfach wunderschön. Obwohl es sehr heiß war, bis 40°C, war es in den Räumen auch ohne Klimaanlage angenehm. Kein Wunder bei bis zu 2m dicken Außenwänden. Verbrauchsmaterial wie Waschpulver, Reinigungstabs für den Geschirrspüler, Spülmittel, Alufolie, usw sind vorhanden. Von uns ist auch noch einiges zurück geblieben ;-). Parken ist auf den 3 öffentlichen Parkplatzbereichen möglich. Ein- und ausladen geht in Hausnähe. Ein sehr schöner Urlaub mit einem traumhaften Pool bei heißem Wetter. Viele liebe Grüße an Elisa, ihre Mutter, die Katzen die den Eingang bewachen und die kleinen Hunde.

Einfach nur Wow

Die Wohnung hat unsere Erwartungen bei Weitem übertroffen. Mit Liebe zum Detail dem historischen Gebäude ausgestattet. Und der Garten voller Hortensien, Zitronenbäume und Olivenbäumchen. Er wirkt auf den Bildern kleiner als er ist. Elisa, die Gastgeberin, ist eine sehr liebe, Willkommenspaket, Wildschweingulasch, Abschiedsgeschenk, einfach die Gastfreundschaft pur! Die Aussicht auf die Landschaft vermissen wir schon jetzt, wer braucht bei so einem Blick von oben auf die Landschaft einen Infinitipool? Unsere Hunde, zwei Bordercollies, waren sehr willkommen. Auf jeden Fall mindestens 12 von 10 Punkten oder mehr! Auch die Lage zu Zielen Siena, San Giminiano, Florenz, San Galgano, etc., top.Der Ort Radicondolo bietet gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, ein kleiner Tante Emma Laden, gut sortiert, sogar Autan im Programm, ein Fleischer, ein Bäcker, ein Touristbüro (deutschsprachig) und mehrere Restaurants, der Pool groß genug zum Schwimmen und sehr sauber. Unsere Zeit, zwei Wochen, waren unglaublich erholsam. Ich kann diese Ferienwohnung mit gutem Gewissen wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Toskana pur mit wunderbarem Ausblick

alles wie in der Beschreibung vorhanden. Elisa ist eine sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. Der Wildschweineintopf Ihrer Mutter ist phantastisch. Kommunikation mit Vermieter (Elisa) perfekt. Haus is wie in der Beschreibung dargestellt einfach eingerichtet es ist aber alles nötige vorhanden. Die Doppelbetten haben eine durchgehende Bettdecke. Sonne leider nur bis ca 18h (Mitte Juni) auf dem Grundstück. Terrasse ist Fest Überdacht, zusätzlicher Sonnenschirm vorhanden. 4 Liegen vorhanden. Der öffentliche Parkplatz ist ca 250m entfernt, man kann aber am Haus kurz Parken und ein bzw Ausladen.

Schöne Wohnung mit Abstrichen

Wir hatten einen entspannten Urlaub bei Elisa in Radicondoli. Die Außensanlage mit Pool und Garten ist wirklich sensationell, der Blick in die Hügel der Toskana ist traumhaft. Die Wohnung ist schön gelegen und bietet ausreichen Platz. Leider ist die Ausstattung eher einfach und ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Es fängt beim billigen und zusammen gewürfelten Geschirr an und hört bei halb blinden Spiegeln auf. Der schöne rustikale Tisch steht im Turmkeller während in der Küche ein einfacher Resopsaltisch und einfacher Stühle stehen. Der Turm ist zwar romantisch, riecht aber leider moderig, sodass man ihn nicht nutzen möchte. Die Sauberkeit ließ ein bisschen zu wünschen übrig, Spinnweben überall, das Sofa nicht wirklich einladend. Badezimmer und Schlafzimmer waren aber sauber und gepflegt. Auch wir kamen in den Genuss von Mamas Wildschwein-Gulasch - sehr lecker, vielen Dank dafür! Elisa war immer ansprechbar und hat sich gut um uns gekümmert. Mit ein paar Kleinigkeiten könnte man mehr aus der Wohnung machen.

Traumurlaub

Ein traumhafter Urlaub!!!

Ein Träumchen

Wir haben das gefunden, was wir uns erträumt haben, ein wunderbar restauriertes altes Gemäuer, in dem man sich absolut wohl fühlen kann- ein traumhafter Blick auf die Weiten der Toskana vom Pool aus- Begegnungen mit zufriedenen und lebensfrohen Menschen des Dorfes-die beste Pizza Italiens und ganz rührlige Gastgeber, die uns u.a.mit leckerem Wildscheingulasch versorgt haben- lieben Dank, Elisa!!! Tolles Steinhaus in schönem toskanischem Ort

Wir hatten trotz durchwachsenem Wetter eine herrliche Zeit im Haus Il Torrione. Die Lage im Ort: super, das Anwesen wunderschön mit blühenden Rosen überall und herrlichen Blick, schönes gepflegtes Schwimmbad, die riesige Wohnung super sauber. Ideal ist es wahrscheinlich im Hochsommer, da die dicken Mauern die Wärme gut abhalten. Die Stimmung im Ort ist sehr relaxed, keine Hektik - hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.

Schönes Haus in süßer Umgebung

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne, entspannte Woche in dem gut eingerichtetem, hübschen Haus. Der Ausblick, auch von der tollen Terrasse aus, war bezaubernd. Auch der Ort hat seine ganz besondere Charme und einen Bäcker, einen kleinen Einkaufslanden und eine Fleischerei konnte man gut zu Fuß erreichen.

Einzigartig, muckelig

Die Unterkunft war superschön. Die Vermieterin sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit. Man fühlte sich sofort wie zuhause und in dem muckeligen Bergdorf Radicondoli schnell wie jemand, der dazu gehört. Das vielseits gelobte Gulasch von der Mama war wirklich hervorragend und so reichhaltig, daß es bei uns bei 2 Personen für 2 Tage reichte. Wir können diesen ruhigen Ort und diese traumhafte Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Vielen Dank nochmal an Elisa, an Ihre Mutter und Ihren Onkel.

Perfect!

Il Torrione is a special place and Elisa, and her mother, are wonderful hosts. The house is amazing and Radicondoli is a beautiful village up in the clouds and away from the tourist trail. It was a wonderful base to explore the region and we had a fantastic week. Thank you so much for having us!
