Good location for sightseeing
The holiday apartment was in a lovely location with easy access to Perugia, Assisi and Spoleto. The owner was very generous and allowed unlimited access to her vegetable garden for fresh vegetables and fruit. However, be warned, the property is not air conditioned as indicated in the advert. The air conditioning was just 3 floor standing fans and we sweltered for the first week of the holiday due to the temperatures soring in the high 30's. In addition you are unable to put two electrical items on at any one time for example, the dishwasher on at the same time as the kettle or toaster etc, otherwise the electricity goes off and the owner needs to come and switch it back on. This is very frustrating and stressful and happened during our stay, despite all our best efforts! The nearest bar is a 15-20 minute walk away with friendly owners. Restaurant Siro is a fantastic restaurant 25 minutes walk away and we ate there on two occasions. The owner recommended a very good pizzeria called Number One which was approximately 10 minutes away in a car. The pizza's are excellent and very cheap. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful part of the world.
