Private Cozy Year Round Cabin On Little Spider Lake

***Starting with the summer 2021 schedule, D2Cabin is moving to a Friday to Friday rental week. This only affects June, July and August. All other dates are available for any check in day with a 3 night minimum.***

D2Cabin is located just west of the Northern Highland State Forest in Arbor Vitae which allows plenty of public hunting opportunities. Caywood Shooting Range is about 1 mile away. Private snowmobile access to the groomed snowmobile trail. This cabin has a living room, 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, bathroom. Outdoor deck, fire pit, grill and private lake access across the road. A screened gazebo allows bug-free outdoor dining. Private pier with boat and oars provided. Large wooded property with no homes on either side. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi included. Natural gas heat, super insulated to keep cool in the summer. Basement with shelving for coolers, fishing gear, snowmobile equipment,etc. Washer/dryer included for your use at no charge.
This cabin has been totally remodeled with your safety and comfort in mind as of May 2014.

This was a clean, cozy, and modern cabin right across the street from Little Spider Lake! We really enjoyed staying at this property, and the hosts were friendly! The location of the cabin was perfect, since it's just outside of the touristy Minocqua area! Would recommend this cabin for groups of 6 or less!

Awesome cabin

The d2 cabin has everything you would need. It is very clean and efficient. We had a wonderful time and have already booked for next year. Debbie is a great host and is easy to reach if you need anything. Love this cabin..

Awesome as usual!

Had a great time on our annual fishing trip to the D2 cabin. Debbie and Dave are awesome to deal with and provide a comfortable and clean cabin with all the amenities our group needs. Will definitely be back next year!

Relaxing retreat

This property is located on a lake, just off the highway, and has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. We had a 2 day fishing trip and the property accommodated that with a nice fish cleaning area. Debbie was happy, smiling, and a great host!

D2 Cabin is a cozy, clean cabin in a convenient location to Winter Park, Winman Trails and ABR ski trails. Debbie and Dave are very responsble hosts and easy to reach. They go over and above to keep their guests happy. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment.

Cleanest VRBO ever

This cabin in the woods that allows dogs is very clean and well maintained. The hosts were easy and commutative. The cabin includes any of the household items you may need. We look forward to our next visit.

Fall Retreat

We decided to take a fall vacation up north and ended up having the perfect week! It was sunny, dry, and cool with leaves adding more color every day! We could not have asked for a better week. Of course it was filled with fishing, nature trails, ice cream, and Eagle River’s cranberry festival. Thanks again for a wonderful week! Perhaps next time we can check it out in the winter.

Very comfortable stay.

Found that all areas of accommodation were as described in VRBO listing. The gazebo building behind the cabin was a nice added feature. We definitely would stay there again.

Sept getaway

The cabin was clean and well thought out in design. We enjoyed the large picture window that overlooks the wooded property and the front porch that had a little view of the lake in the distance, The cabin was very comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed the campfire at night and walking across the road for lake access during the day. The location was great to access other activities in the surrounding area. Very cute cottage and gracious host!!

Felt like home

From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were home! First of all, the whole house is super clean and uncluttered. It has all the basics and everything we needed. There was even room to store our things in the closets in the bedrooms and the bath room. The water pressure was great and and hot. We loved the manicured backyard and spent many hours sitting outside. We didn’t have any problem with mosquitoes. We did some bike rides, which was easy from the property. Not even a mile away is the Northern motel and café, which serves breakfast most mornings. Even though the dock is across the street from the house, it was easy to walk to and we enjoyed paddling on the lake with the loons and eagles. In the middle of the lake is a buoy which marks a shallow sandy spot and is fun to get out and swim. Fishing was good, plenty of northern and largemouth were caught.

Unexpected Fishing Trip

This is our fourth summer staying at D2 Cabin, but our first time bringing our fishing boat. Our vacation turned out to be a fishing trip with a few outings for ice cream. We ended up catching bluegill, crappies, perch, and walleye. It was enough to have a couple of fish dinners. The Ninja blender was something new for us to try, and we ended up buying one when we got home. As always, we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the cleanliness of the rental and its property. We look forward to going back again next year!

Super clean and well-equipped cabin

This was our third stay in D2 Cabin and once again it provided all that we needed for a tranquil week "up north." Easy lake access, pine trees all around, quiet road, well-equipped kitchen, fire pit, outdoor picnic table, separate screened-in cottage, plenty of closet and storage space, fabulous shower. Close enough to Minocqua for grocery shopping yet feels like wilderness. Exceptional value for money.

We love Little Spider Lake for the beauty and convenience of the area. We enjoy seeing the deer, fox, loon, eagles, ducks and fish on a regular basis. A short ride to Woodruff or Minocqua offers unique shopping and dining opportunities.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Most of the time, we enjoy staying by the lake to take advantage of the relaxing atmosphere but also enjoy being able to walk, bike, swim, boat and hike. We are also on the snowmobile trail so winter is a fun time too.
