I'm extremely disappointed by this review, as I strive to be clear and honest in my listing and communication. The bedroom is accurately described and pictured as having a twin-over-double bunk. A possible misunderstanding due to how bed types were selected on the website has since been corrected. Upon arrival, the guest expressed dissatisfaction and immediately expected compensation. Wanting to be fair, I refunded over 15% of my profit, offered a discount on a future stay, and gave a free late checkout—even though the listing was fulfilled as described. I provide clean, complimentary linens that most guests prefer to place themselves. If dishes were left in the dishwasher, I apologize—guests are asked to run and put them away before checkout. However, the only issue raised during the stay was the bed setup, so a one-star review feels especially harsh. I care about providing a clean, comfortable stay and always treat guests as I’d like to be treated. I hope future guests will read all reviews in context and let me know if there are any questions.

Thank you for your review of my condo. I appreciate your saying that it was nicely decorated and overall comfortable, as we try to make it welcoming, bright, and cheerful. I'm sorry that there were misunderstandings that caused your experience to be less than you expected and hope that in spite of your mishaps that you found the rest of your vacation on the Crystal Coast to be enjoyable. We find the accommodations to be quite comfortable and although we do provide complimentary linens as a courtesy to our guests, it is not a linen service so beds are not made. We strive to make our condo very welcoming, relaxing, and comfortable for our guests and will try to communicate more effectively to ensure that future renters do not have any issues.
