Two bedrooms upstairs and one queen bed in the unfinished, (but clean), basement. The cottage is located just a few blocks from the park, uptown where there is a Subway, great steaks at 5th Quarter, 2 bars, Main Street Thriftique, Uptown Pix (gifts and more), and Ace Hardware, all on Main Street. There is Cubby's grocery store and a dollar store. We have just totally renovated the 2 bedroom house in 2014 with new stainless steel appliances, full bathroom, a full bed, dresser, and flat screen TV in one bedroom and a queen bed, dresser, and a flat screen TV in the second bedroom. Both bedrooms also have cedar closets. The living room has a small pub table for dining and comfortable couch and recliner for relaxing. There is a $20 per person charge on groups of 4 or more with a maximum occupancy of 6 adults and 2 children. Cleaning fee is $75- on nightly stays. Cleaning fee is $75 and up to $150 on stays of 5 days or more. There is a 42' flat screen TV with dvd player and free Wi-Fi. The kitchen has all the utensils and cooking supplies you would need to enjoy your stay. There is a basement, with a 3rd queen bed, you can do your laundry and hide out in case of good ol' Nebraska thunderstorms. You can protect your car in the attached garage. There is an infrared two burner grill in the garage you can roll out in case your in the mood for a burger or a steak! We supply towels, washcloths, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. If you need something call and I see what I can do! You're located only a block away from the multi-million dollar Community Center with indoor wellness center and exercise equipment, daycare, and large multi-purpose hall for large events. Pender is a booming little town with golf course, an RV park at Blue Ox Manufacturing, city pool, the new Pender Community a modern ball field, and PoPo's, Subway, 5th Quarter, Roseyā€™s Mexican on Main Street, restaurants for drinks or dining.

Turkey hunting trip

This house was perfect for us on a turkey hunting trip. The garage space gave us plenty of room to leave our hunting stuff outside but locked up. I would definitely stay here again!!

Home away from home

I've stayed here twice now. We visit nearby family a couple times each year. This house is great for us. It feels like a nice hotel when you walk in, but with more space. Great little amenities like coffee, water, movies/cable/wi-fi. Beds are super comfy. Extra bed in the basement + fold-out couch if you need a extra space. We will definitely be back!

Our stay in Pender NE was just what we needed! Even though there were only two of us, it was worth the extra for a three bedroom. The jacuzzi was SOOOO relaxing and then to sit in front of the fire pit was a great way to end the day. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. Jim even gave us some fresh eggs for our breakfast. We WILL stay again and next time bring others along for the other bedrooms!

Comfortable, Clean and Cozy!

My family of 4 was visiting from Texas for a big event... our family homes were all full so this home was the perfect solution. Both kids got their own bed, everything you would need in the kitchen, laundry room and shower was provided. It was very clean and Jim was great to work with. We will be recommending this rental to our family members and friends when we have future events and we run out of beds. Thanks Jim for having us!

Great place to stay!

We stayed at this house in Pender, Ne for a wedding. It's kinda small, but has two bedrooms, one bathroom, small living area and kitchen. It worked out perfectly for us. Very clean, remodeled nicely. We had stayed in Pender 8 months prior for another wedding at the motel located in Pender, Ne and it wasn't the greatest. If we ever need to stay in Pender again we will definitely rent this house! Very nice place!šŸ™‚ The owner communicated all the information we needed and was available for anything we may need. Very impressive!

Quiet Location and Secure Parking

We appreciated several features of this home, especially the attached garage and its peaceful, quiet location. Communication with the owner was excellent; they offered early check-in and a late checkout, which, while we didnā€™t use, was a thoughtful gesture.That said, there were a few things future guests may want to know. Upon arrival, the home had a strong odorā€”a mix of wet dog and mustiness. An air freshener sat on an air purifier in the living room. We eventually adjusted (classic nose blindness), but the smell returned each time we were away and returned. Though the home appeared clean, a water ring in the toilet suggested it may not have been freshly cleaned.The living room sofa is a hide-a-bed and not comfortable for lounging. The garage, while attached, doesnā€™t have direct access to the home. In the primary bedroom, a metal wall art piece serves as a faux headboardā€”it clattered anytime a pillow touched it. The room also got quite warm at night, even with a fan and the door open during the day, which affected our sleep.We didnā€™t use the hot tub or patio. While some elements impacted our comfort, the value and location were strong points overall.

My parents purchased the house as a rental and after several long term tenants it needed some major updating so after remodeling the entire house the decision was made to try putting it in the nightly rental program since the local motel has closed. The income from the property all goes to my mom who is in the center of the picture with all my siblings. She is on a fixed income so your patronage is highly appreciated!

Vs. a Motel you have a full kitchen, three beds, all the comforts of home for the price of a motel room. If you like you can cook or grill your own meal. There is a garage for security of your car and so you don't have to scrape ice in the winter.
