A hidden gem!

We got home today from our stay at Geoff & Tammy’s and were sad to leave! We had the most amazing week- everything from the house to the beach to the cute little town of Vermilion was perfect! Don’t worry about bringing anything from Home outside of a swimsuit, towel and a good book. The Morris’s provide the rest! Seriously, they had a variety of sand toys, floaties, paddle boards, kayaks, life vests, etc. we were in close proximity to Cedar point but we spent the majority of the week on the beach and can’t wait to go back next year!

Picture Perfect

This is a beautiful house with amazing views. The property was spotless & had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Tammy & Geoff were extremely kind & accommodating. Our kids loved being in the water and having access to all the water gear. We'll definitely be back next year! Thank you to Tammy & Geoff for a great vacation!

Couldn’t be better!!!!

The property owners treat you like family. I can’t say enough great things about them. They are friendly, helpful and always available for your needs. The property and cottages are immaculate. My family was impressed by everything available for our use in the cottage and on the beach. We can’t wait to come back. We actually booked for next year while we were staying there!!!

Exceeded Even my High Expectations!

When I saw the listing for this property on VRBO I thought it looked peaceful and lovely and like a great place for a relaxing weekend. It was all that and more! The unit is perfectly equipped with everything you might want. The property is sparkling clean and recently refurbished with smart tv's in the living room and every bedroom, comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen. The beach is incredible. Amazing views from the front windows, comfortable seating on the porch and in the sand, and a perfect beach where you can pass the time. Hosts Tammy and Geoff are wonderfully attentive and offer anything you might want to enjoy a get away. Being from California I was not expecting to find a favorite beach house in Ohio, but there it is. Can't recommend it highly enough.

The perfect place to enjoy Lake Erie with a private beach. Second time to enjoy this beautiful condo

From the moment we arrived Tammy (property owner) was there to meet us with a smile and was extremely accommodating throughout our entire stay, and Geoff her husband started a big fire for us in the huge firepit for our family to enjoy an evening of smores. The property is perfect to enjoy views of the lake even from the master bedroom. We love the decor of the condo with the full beach feel. It was great having free use of the kayak's to enjoy with the grandkids. This was our second stay here and looking forward to more in the future. Joe & Kim

Perfect getaway

We absolutely loved our experience and meeting tammy and geoff. They were gracious hosts they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The property is perfect for a family getaway especially during times like these when Covid is a concern. We hope to be back!

Hidden paradise on lake erie

Morris Beach Club is a great place for a family vacation. We all enjoyed our week there. The soft sand ,paddle boards, and fishing pier was a big hit.

Second year in a row - didn’t disappoint!

This was our second year staying with Tammy and Geoff (last year we stayed at the 3br home next door) and we had another amazing time! The house had plenty of space for our party of 4 adults and 2 small kids - my 5 year old loved the bunk beds!! Weather treated us great and the beach was just as nice as we remember. With COVID concerns (or if you’re just looking for a little more privacy) this place is perfect! The beach was never crowded and every cottage has its own furniture, umbrellas, etc! Went home with a whole ziploc of beach glass and some more great memories - we’ve already booked again for next year!!

Beautiful beachfront property

This was an amazing experience and it felt like we were at the beach. The beach was very clean and well managed. The owners do a wonderful job keeping the property looking beautiful. We were confident with the COVID cleaning and felt safe. The private beach was only shared by one other renting family and only a few others from the surrounding long term rentals. It felt like we had the beach to ourselves. The owners provided kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, beach volleyball, and many other beach toys. They had plenty of chairs and umbrellas to enjoy the view and the sunsets! It was worth it to have free access to so many beach and lake activities. Our family had a great time even among the pandemic restrictions and got to take a break from the stress of the world for a week. We loved it so much that we have already booked for next year. We highly recommend this property.

Incredible Find!

I can’t say enough about how amazing this property is; it truly is a hidden gem. The house is beautiful and the private beach it looks out over is even more so. Tammy and Geoff are outstanding hosts who were incredibly helpful and kind from booking to check out. They provide all of the toys you might enjoy on the water and the sand and can tell you all about various things to do in the area. No matter how you spend the day, you will definitely want to end the evening watching the most incredible sunsets over the Lake. It is an incredible place!

Paradise

Welcome to your own Shangri la! We planned a last minute girls' trip, and we could not have found a better destination! Geoff and Tammy are such gracious hosts who did everything to ensure our stay was wonderful. The private beach is immaculately maintained and is a great place to search for shells and sea glass. We had fun with the kayaks, paddleboards and playing volleyball. The house is beautifully decorated, themed to keep you in the beach mindset (the pics can't do it justice). Vermilion is close and is a picturesque beach town. We are already planning our next trip!

RELAXING!

Needed a short get away, that was relaxing. Somewhere I could stick my feet in the sand - GOT IT! Owners were so attentive to our needs and very friendly. Property was very well taken care of and beautiful. Private beach with kayaks & paddle boards to go out on the water. Most owners charge you for all the extras but they were included. Most definitely will be back!

Weekend trip

wonderful beach house right on the water. The house was in fantastic shape, the beach was perfect, and the owners were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We very highly recommend this property, our family will be definitely try to find time to come back again.

If you are looking for the nicest, easiest, friendliest, cleanest, and most wonderfully unexpected perfect little spot for a family or couple getaway- this won’t disappoint!! Bring groceries or go out, each is convenient. Couldn’t have been more pleased. Thank you Tammy and Geoff.

Really excellent

The vrbo 589700 property exceeded my expectations. Prior to starting my vacation, I had memorized and shared the vrbo number with people; hopefully sharing what I anticipated my vacation would be like. And it turned out to be better than I had hoped. Tammy and Geoff were exceptional hosts; helping me get settled and making certain I understood the amenities available. During my stay I was alone some nights and then members of my family enroute different places would join me for a couple days. The teens went to Cedar Point and enjoyed the water toys, us middle-aged enjoyed floating and reading on the deck. My mom and an elderly friend enjoyed watching the changing moods of Lake Erie. And we all appreciated the almost daily sightings of bald eagles. The four bedrooms and two baths worked well; there is great closet space and the beds were of good quality and comfortable. Each bedroom had a TV which was an important benefit for some of those who stayed with me. The spacious living area was open and a great gathering place for snacking or the shared prep of a meal. And each evening we would gather outside for our sunset viewing party, enjoying one another's company as the light faded and the stars came out. (Tapping into my inner poet!) Many thanks to Tammy and Geoff for sharing their world and for being excellent hosts.

Family fun

This was a great place for an extended family to stay. The 4 bedrooms worked out well for the 3 couples with 2 toddlers safely tucked away in their own room. This house is between Cleveland and Sandusky. Right on the lake.

Perfect Lake House Experience

The house is adorable, spotless and perfectly located on a hidden-away little private beach that Geoff and Tammy meticulously maintain every day. Located just a couple of miles from the little town of Vermilion, there is easy access to a nice grocery store, pharmacy, and several good restaurants. But we never really ever wanted to leave the beach! Can’t say enough about the house - great floor plan and bed set-up, well-equipped kitchen with high-end appliances and utensils - a true cook’s kitchen. I need to plan my next getaway up there, just so I can experience this wonderful stay all over again. Thank you, Geoff and Tammy!

Lovely cottage in the lakefront with beach right steps away from the sand and surf.

We stayed during the month of February so no beach time for us. But great location and worked well for us as we were visiting family in Vermilion. Plenty of room with lots of windows with great views of Lake Erie. Clean and comfy beds. We would love to stay again especially in the summer.

Wonderful place to stay January 2019

Tammy and Geoff went beyond expectations. We arrived during the winter storm on MLK weekend. They we combating high water levels as the storm was coming down the lake, but turned there concernes to helping find a path to the house. When temperatures dropped to below zero with the wind chills, they once again were concerned about us, providing us with extra electric heaters. When the temps warmed and rain came in, once again flooding our path to the house they jumped to action and found alternative parking and a path to the house to stay dry. Thank you for make our stay wonderful. We will return again in the future.

This was a good place for us as were visiting old friends and family in both Detroit and Cleveland, yet wanted to experience the shores for the first time. We loved watching the sunsets from the deck, the living room, kitchen, bedroom...etc. It was clean, updated and comfortable. We would definitely consider returning!

Our family has been enjoying Morris Beach Club since we purchased the property in 2006. We immediately fell in love with all that the property had to offer…the location, the beach, and the cottages themselves. Our summers have never been the same since…filled with endless sun, sand, and fun.

This is a unique beach property that is one of a kind. The cottage (some like to call it a house) sits directly on its own private beach and a stones throw from Lake Erie. This is not like other lake properties where you get a glance of the lake and the beach from a small window and have to walk down a cliff to get to the beach…or depending on the way the winds blows; there may not be a beach at all. At Morris Beach Club there are no cliffs to maneuver and no obstacles impeding your view. It is as easy as walking out your front door and onto your own private beach filled with fun.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

THE BEACH... The kids can spend hours building castles and playing in the sand. You can even search for shells and sea glass on the beach. Look for the rare red or blue pieces. Take a dip in the lake and/or relax on a float. For those looking for adventure, take a ride in a kayak up the river or test your balance on one of the paddle boards. At the end of the day relax on your covered porch or park yourself in a beach chair and watch some of the most breath taking sunsets that you’ll ever experience. In the evening, join us on the pier next to the fire pit as we roast marshmallows and make S’mores while watching the stars twinkle overhead.
