2nd row - 4min walk to the sand - Aquarium and Beach & Park Passes

Hear the waves in this Aptos vacation home across the street from the neighborhood beach entrance to the Seacliff and Pot Belly beaches. Walk down a very pictures Beachgate path or, if you have too many beach things, drive 0.2mi and use provided beach pass for the free access and parking.

2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths - sleeps 6. Just bring your bathing suit. Everything else is provided: linens, beach towels, chairs, umbrella and toys. Also included are (over $200 value):
- CA State Park Pass to visit over 20 local beaches and state parks.
- 2 member guest passes to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which can be used daily. Save time by skipping a long line and using the member entrance!

Our Beach house has gone through a complete remodel in the winter / spring of '22. We were inspired by our stays in cozy Mediterranean vacation rentals.

The house has fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, cable TV, WiFi, DVD player, and lots of books and games for kids and adults. Beautifully landscaped private back and side yards with Weber BBQ and outdoor hot water shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. Flexible sleeping arrangements with blackout curtains in the bedrooms: California king bed, queen bed, a pull out European queen sofa bed in the living-room and a twin AeroBed.

The rental comes with a 2 parking spaces in the driveway. There is practically no street parking.

CasaMareAptos is a duplex. The upstairs apartment is never rented; it's our second home and we, a retired couple, use it part time. The house architecture provides total privacy; with guest having an exclusive use of the downstairs, fenced in back/side yards, outdoor shower, BBQ, and 2 car driveway. Only the front yard is shared with the owners.

Seacliff beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. It is wide, 19+ mile long, and in low tide you can walk 1.5 mi to Capitola. Spend quiet weekdays swimming, boogie boarding and surfing with just the dolphins, whales, seals and shorebirds to keep you company.

This is a great location for visiting Monterrey, Carmel, Capitola, Santa Cruz, 17 Mile Drive or just relaxing on the beach.

Close to the beach in a great quiet neighborhood. House was well setup and parking for 2 cars is such a wonderful thing. Home had everything we needed; bonus for all the extra pillows so you can really find your best comfort. We look forward to coming back to stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Love this property! It is a cute clean house with all the amenities you need. All of the rooms are more spaceouse than the pictures show. Bathroom has a shower stall and large vanity, other is a half bath. The location is amazing! There is a path about 2 house away that takes you down to the beach. The path is better for older kids as it is a steep hill. If you have younger kids, you can always use the parking pass provided by the owners. The neighbohood has alot to offer within walking distance if you want to eat out. Day trips to other beach towns within 5-15 minutes. Passes to the aquarium are a nice bonus. Definitely recommend this peoperty!

My wife and i really enjoyed our stay at this property. The unit was spacious, clean, and very well equipped. It is close to the beach and to the highway for access to other sightseeing areas like Cannery Row in Monterey. The hosts included 2 membership cards for the aquarium and a state park pass and which we used and appreciated. I highly recommend this location if you are planning to vacation in this area.

This was a great place to stay for the 4 of us! Clean, quiet, and close to the beach!I would reccomend walking to Maryanne's for ice cream and Castelli's Deli for coffee and muffins!The driveway fit our full size 4 door pickup so it can fit pretty much any vehicle.We would stay here again!

The location of this property is excellent. It is close to a small grocery, deli and very close to the beach. We were able to walk to downtown Capitola, though it was quite a long hike. We enjoyed every minute of it!

Super clean and has everything you need. We had a little time figuring out how to arrange for three different people to use their own things in the very small shower, but once we got set up it was good. We could have stayed more than 5 days! Next time…..

Great stay in Aptos!

We had a great week in Aptos. Marina and Sasha were the best hosts. The house had the best location and the walk to the beach is so beautiful. It was also so nice to have access to the aquarium and state parks passes too!

The hosts of this beach house have thought of everything. The place was perfect for us. Three adults of family and friend. If you like a little exercise walk the trail actoss the street to the beach. Or use the free parking pass to drive atound the corner and park 5 strps from the beach!

Family with toddler beach vacation

Beautiful outside garden, with wonderful smelling many flowered Jasmine. Very peaceful to grill and eat outside. The house is clean and well equipped. Lots of beach toys for our little one to take to the beach. A stepped garden path is a fairly quick walk to the beach below. The owners are very nice and go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. Would stay again!

Getaway long weekend

Location was fantastic. Truly just a 4-min walk from the beach, with nearby Santa Cruz and all the hoopla that goes with it, including great restaurants. Our favorite was going to Seacliff beach and sitting near the water's edge, snuggled up in blankets to fend off the chill in the air, while enjoying the warmth of the beating sun and sound of perpetual crashing waves.

Great stay for the 2nd time, highly recommended!

We stayed here again after a great stay last year. This property is clean, super close to the beach, and affordable for families. The owners Marina and Sasha are wonderful and communication was simple. We would highly recommend this rental. We’ll be back next year!

Our kids are grown so it’s just the two of us. We are available to answer any questions and to share our favorite places to visit and eat at.

Both being scientist, we used a scientific approach, the Radar app, in selecting the warmest, least foggy beach community. We were surprised to discover that often there is a 15 to 20 degrees difference with in less than 10 miles.
We chose our home because of proximity to the beach and it’s unique architecture.

We love to travel and to stay in vacation rentals, especially when traveling with our family or friends. For the past 30+ years we have rented over 100 places all over US and Europe and have used this experience in setting up our home. We furnished it with all the things that we’ve enjoyed and appreciated: tourist information, guide books, lots of books and games for adults and kids, cooks kitchen, extra towels and linens, and of course everything one would need for the beach, even kites. Many guests comment on our location and how well-equipped our home is.
