SUN VALLEY is a year round vacation retreat and winters are incredibly lovely and picturesque! As a get-away with family or friends it can not be beat! And our Sun Valley home -- SAGE HAVEN -- is the perfect place for your fabulous mountain vacation in winter, spring, summer, or fall ... and the skiing (alpine and nordic) and other winter sports are particularly fantastic! As are all the adventures offered in the other seasons, as well!

SUN VALLEY is an ideal vacation destination ... truly spectacular! It is consistently ranked a top year-round resort, and it offers everything for an incredible, memorable holiday! There are endless options for exhilarating adventure, as well as delightful R&R.

Together, Sun Valley and the town of Ketchum offer all you could need or want for a great mountain retreat! And renting a home is a perfect way to travel. So don't delay in making your vacation plans -- as there's no place better than Sun Valley where the sun famously brightens everything!

Sage Haven is a quick walk to the Warm Springs lifts and lodge in the winter -- and to the trails in the other three seasons. It's also right on the bike path and near the bus shuttle route. This private home is just minutes away from the mountain and from the charming town of Ketchum. It's located in a beautiful neighborhood with great views and access to all that the area has to offer. The skiing is among the best in the world -- and everything about Sun Valley is world-class!

The home is TERRIFIC for a family or two ... or for a reunion of friends! Lots of room and a great location! It has three bedrooms plus a private loft with three twin beds. With a lovely, private hot tub, beautiful deck, all *new* kitchen counters, cabinets and appliances -- and a top of the line BBQ grill -- this home is PERFECT for entertaining. With the ability to sleep 10 or less, it truly is a place to bring a group or a family or two and make some WONDERFUL Sun Valley memories!

Perfect 4 bedroom home for my family’s ski vacation - close to the slopes (5-7 min walk/free parking at lifts/lodge) and apres ski - comfortable beds, nice kitchen- encountered a few issues (clogged coffee maker, hot tub not working initially) that were immediately addressed/corrected - we all loved the home, would certainly return

This was our second time staying at the Sage Haven house and everything was fantastic. We love the proximity to the mountain and the ease of travel from the airport and into town. The host was great to work with and was very kind to accommodate us with a late checkout when our flight was delayed. The house is well stocked and we thought the remodeled master bath was very nice. We are already looking forward to our next trip!

Amazing 4 nights with friends in Sun Valley

Absolutely perfect stay. This is our 7th year doing a friends ski trip and this was one of our favorite houses. Great location to the challenger lift and the free bus line is incredibly easy and accessible.

~4 minute walk to the bus stop (bus seemed to come every 10-15 minutes in the morning and after skiing), nice kitchen, responsive host.

Family gathering

Great trip with our adult children. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all. Excellent communication by the host with a nearby manager if we needed anything specific. Highly recommend Chris and this property.

Great location near Warm Springs!

Super clean, super easy, great owner, and very easy to deal with. Would definitely stay here again. We came in for a mountain bike trip in July 2024. We had six adults. Sage Haven had plenty of space and was stocked for meals in. I would stay here again. This would be great for ski season.

Warm and inviting home and well suited for families.

The house was warm, cozy and had a great layout - perfect for our family holiday. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking which we did a lot of. We loved the outdoor spa and living spaces. We were hosted perfectly - any questions/concerns were addressed immediately and was also great to meet Anne during our stay. Location was very convenient to Baldy skiing. Thank you Anne - we would love to stay again!

Good spot with lots of recreation around

Clean house with new appliances. Large dining table was great for takeout and bbq. Access to the garage was very nice, made biking easy. Plenty of space for the 8 of us to stay in comfort. Kids loved the hot tub too.

Great house walking distance to lifts!

We had a great stay here for our ski trip. There’s plenty of comfortable beds, a spacious kitchen and living room, and we were in the hot tub and steam room daily after some great days on the mountain. It’s a quick walk to the lifts and a longer walk or very easy bus ride into town. Chris was an excellent host - very communicative and answered any questions we had promptly. Highly recommend!

Cozy and spacious

Super cozy and spacious home, well stocked with t.p And,towels, shampoo and conditioner in each rr which is very helpful with a large family. Will def be coming back. Great communication with the owner and friendly and helpful. It was so nice to come back and cozy up by the chimney after a day of snow activities.

Our wonderful stay in Ketchum!

My family had a wonderful experience staying at this property during our ski trip! Chris was a fantastic host. The home was very clean and absolutely beautiful. One thing that separated this property from previous VRBO experiences was the amount of amenities that were included. From the cleaning supplies and hygiene products to the steam shower and hot tub, it certainly has it all. A short drive to both Bald & dollar mountain, it is in the perfect location. We will certainly be back!

Great place for a ski group. The house was older but well kept and a very well stocked kitchen The heated garage for our vehicle was a plus with all the snow we had. The hot tub worked well and got lots of use. Very helpful property management…..we’ll be back

Fantastic Stay Steps Away from Skiing

Sage Haven was the perfect home for the two families we had staying in Sun Valley. Steps away from the blue line to take the bus to Warm Springs or downtown Ketchum. Amazing kitchen and amenities. The home was perfect and the property owners and managers have been the kindest and most hospitable of any property we have ever rented on VRBO. Would highly recommend

The home, nicknamed "Sage Haven," is owned by an outdoor-oriented family originally from the Seattle area and now scattered along the West Coast. While we initially came for winter sports (skiing!) we are all now converts to summers in Sun Valley, which we enjoy equally to the winter months. (Picture is of Chris, the family member who handles Vrbo, enjoying a beautiful late afternoon on the deck of Sage Haven -- Summer '19.)

Our parents wanted a place for the family to gather and have fun - winter and summer. This home a perfect spot for just that. There is plenty of space indoors at Sage Haven for adults and children to enjoy, while outdoors, just minutes away, one finds every activity that mountains, rivers, and a small friendly town offers. Cultural events are numerous year-round, with one of our favorites being the Sun Valley Music Festival, free for everyone!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The home, Sage Haven, is very comfortable with plenty of community and private spaces. It is perfect for family and friends who are looking for a nicely appointed place that is not over-the-top. You can see from the pictures, that there is an ease and comfort to the home. You'll surely appreciate having a garage space for one car when winter brings on that perfect powder day for skiing but not for driving!
