Youā€™ll find yourself within easy walking distance to Coeur dā€™Aleneā€™s public beaches, parks, shopping, dining, and entertainment. Whether youā€™re taking a stroll around the boardwalk, hiking on Tubbs Hill, or watching the kids play at Fort Sherman Playground or splash on the splash pad at McEuen Park, youā€™ll love that you can get around without a vehicle.



This pristine home has been gorgeously remodeled and features stunning modern dĆ©cor throughout. The welcoming living room creates a cozy space to relax and watch TV while you enjoy the light steaming in through the windows. In addition to the main living room, thereā€™s also a fabulous entertainment room with a pool table, seating, and a beautiful fireplace filled with candles.



Youā€™ll enjoy preparing meals in the kitchen equipped with upgraded appliances and granite countertops. The nearby dining area seats 6 at a sturdy wooden table and views of the fantastic landscaping in the backyard can be seen through the sliding glass door. This home also offers a laundry area with plenty of space to hang dry your bathing suits.



The decadent master suite has a king bed and an attached bathroom with double sinks and a gorgeous shower. Everyone can stretch out on the queen beds found in the homeā€™s other 4 luxurious bedrooms. There are also 2 additional full bathroomsā€”1 with a glass shower and 1 with a shower/tub combo.



When youā€™re not out exploring Coeur dā€™Alene, you can gather in the large fully fenced backyard. This area is complete with outdoor seating, a BBQ, covered table, fire pit, and more than enough room for the kidsā€”and/or dogsā€”to run around.

We kindly ask that you keep noise levels down to a reasonable level to respect all neighbors. Smoking is not permitted inside the property. This home welcomes up to 2 dogs, with preapproval and a paid pet fee.

Just blocks from Sherman Street

The house was much more than expected. Beautiful historic garden district neighborhood. House was very comfortable and provided everything we needed. The backyard was perfect for our dogs when we needed to leave them. Walked to Sherman Street every evening with our dogs to have dinner. Very dog friendly town. Dogs are even welcome on the lake cruise.

Great Property

We REALLY enjoyed our 4 night stay! The house was well equipped for our 8 family members. In a previous post someone said the house smelled like animals so I was a bit worried but there was not even a faint smell of animal! The house was very clean and welcoming! We will definitely stay again if going to the CDA area. On a side note, one of the extra blankets that was available was so comfortable we purchased one online. :)

Great property for familys

There are 2 floors. Game room with pool table. Be prepared to shovel snow if rent in winter. Great local to DT. Kitchen could be better stocked. Downstairs bedrooms carpeted...tired and not the cleanest. Huge sofa with a bit of a funny odor. This house accomodates a large group nicely.

Lovely home in a great location!

We chose this home to be close to family for a wedding. It was in a quiet neighborhood and close to all the main points of interest in CDA. The home was very comfortable and decorated nicely. It was also very clean and well stocked with linens and towels. My daughter left her wallet at the home. We called from the airport and they sent someone right over to look for it. They found her wallet and sent us a message immediately. They sent the wallet and made it back to us in Florida a few days after we were home. The check in and out was very easy and the family that stopped by for a visit loved where we were staying!

We loved this house

The house was very nice and upgraded. 3 large bathrooms and 4 nice bedrooms. It was located in a very nice quiet older neighborhood and very close walk to the main part of downtown. The only problem was the two bedrooms in the basement were cold at night with just a thin coverlet and no blankets available for the bed. Also no blackout curtains and the sun rises very early in the summer morning in CDA. 4:30 am light is coming through the windows. Otherwise the house was exceptional and fulfilled our needs.

I would not stay here again. The photographer did a great job. The house was not as nice as presented on line. The backyard was not nice. The patio furniture was terrible and we showed up to the previous renters dog poop. We left the house cleaner then we found it. The bedding was old and the mattresses were stained. I was annoyed by VRBO billing issues and the multiple emails while I was trying to enjoy my vacation when it was vrboā€™s billing issue. Probably will not use VRBO again.

Overall, dissatisfied. A/C didn't work and when repaired we had no control (Nest) beyond varying the temp between 69 and 71Ā°. Ice maker didn't work and could not be fixed during our stay. Amenities were lacking---no hot pads, place mats, large skillet to cook for 6 people. Clothes dryer only worked in 2-minute segments, requiring constant re-starts. Too much reliance on high-tech that didn't work properly.

Great home and location, but be aware of certain things....

This home was great - open areas, fairly quiet neighborhood, fenced backyard. There were 10 of us and we loved the roominess of this home. The backyard was great for the kids, not too big, but nice grass to play on and totally fenced. The kitchen is a little small and there weren't any dish towels or wash cloths (just a sponge). I hate wasting paper towels, so I ended up buying a kitchen towel. There are barely enough plates and utensils for 12, so consider bringing extras. (Side note: there are way more cooking utensils than a person could ever use - maybe swap out some of the spatulas and large BBQ tools for more eating utensils?) Location to the large CDA park was good - a 5 minute car ride or 2 mile walk. However, there are important differences between what the ad describes and reality. The ad notes the home "sleeps 12", when in reality it can only comfortably sleep 8 (9 if you count someone small sleeping on the sofa). For our family of 10, this was a big deal. I was expecting a couple of sleeper sofas, but not so. Luckily, we brought an air mattress. Extra bedding was very sparse - only 1 thin blanket, so staying warm at night was a challenge. The heat/AC was not user friendly. We tried to adjust it, but it must be preset. The basement gets very chilly at night - bring extra blankets! The pool table was a nice addition (the weather was not cooperative when we were there so this was a good distraction), but the 3 pool cues had broken tips. There are 3 TV's in the home, but only 2 have cable hooked up. (One note: none of the TV's were working when we arrived, but the management company was AWESOME and immediately had someone come out to repair.) Parking is also very challenging. The house details note there is room for 4 cars behind the house - 2 car garage and 2 car driveway, but the garage was already full with ATV and other things. Street parking was very full nearly every night. Just be aware. All in all, it was a good experience. I do believe for the price the "little things" should be corrected and the ad should reflect the true sleeping arrangements and additional bedding should be provided. The management company was superb and very responsive, I appreciated this very much.

This home was perfect for my family of four and in laws. The kids were able to have the downstairs with the fun pool table to themselves. Itā€™s in a great location and close to downtown and the lake. Itā€™s also a great house to bring your dog with you - not easy to find!

(4 Stars) Location (4 Stars - 5 Stars would be on the lake) Great Hub for activities: - Fly Fishing (30 minutes) - Golf (10 Minutes) - Lake (10 Minutes) - Food, Drinks, and Shops (5 minutes) Minor items: Next door neighbor is remodeling their house. Landscaping could be cleaned up. Extras: Good house for small pets
