Our home combine amazing view and serenity with magnificent sea (5min by car) and a perfect spot for visiting the most important archaelogical sights of Greece, including Athens (85km, you could visit Acropolis in one day), Epidavros (60km,you may enjoy a performance in the famous ancient theatre and visit the Asklipiion), ancient and new city of Corinth (15min by car), Mycaene, Nemea, Olympia etc. Besides, day excursions can be made in the beautiful and historical city of Nafplio (one hour by car), and on the nice islands of Spetses or Poros as well as at picturesque seaside and mountain villages.
The unit lays on a pine hill at the village of Almyri with view to the Saronic gulf and the mountain. It's a two storeyed house in a 500sqm garden. The rental unit is the ground floor with indipendent entrance, 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms, one with a full size bed and the other with a full size sofa bed as well as a single bed. There is also a single sofa bed in the living. room.
You can enjoy a combination beach for those who want umbrellas, sunbeds and beach bars, and those who want to enjoy a peaceful swim. Along the beach, you will find many restaurants, cafes and shops.

Nice central location

Nicely located in the mountains overlooking the coast. The owners were very gentle and provided us with information on the highlights in the surroundings of Nea Almyri. The house has a beautiful terrass and is well and completely equipped.

The house is very nice, quiet and beautiful, not so far from the beach and archeological sites (Epidavros or Mycenae). The owner Avra is very warm.

Had to book Elsewhere too far from Athens

We were not able to go to this booking because it’s located too far from the city of Athens and about 2 hours away from the International Airport. If you plan your stay, make sure if you decide to cancel you do it way in advance or they will not let you cancel and you’ll be stuck with the bill and have to make another booking

Well equipped apartment and very friendly welcome

We had a great welcome from Avra and Giorgos, including a lovely first meal. They were very helpful, with lots of useful information about the area. Great apartment, a real home from home, by far the best equipped place we've stayed in. Lovely views from terraces - there are several different places you can sit and eat outside, and there's always shade. The apartment is in a good location, easy to get to Corinth, Epidavros, Mycenae, Napflio... It is an easy drive from Athens, under an hour and a half. There are a variety of beaches easily accessible, from local beaches 5 mins drive away (both one with cafes and one more remote) to more that we didn't have time to explore. There are shops 5 mins drive away, so it is easy to self-cater. May was a great time to stay, not too hot or too busy (even UK half-term week). If we return to the area, we would definitely stay here again.

One of the very best guests in our hosting experience, truly in the spirit of VRBO, meaning that they are respectful of the place and percieve the hosting as an opportunity for an exchange and not only as a lodging Polite, friendly, positive and easy to communicate with, appreciative of the place, made us feel privileged for our house. Knus huis, prachtig uitzicht.

Heerlijk vertoeven, vriendelijke eigenaren, rustig dorp, meerdere toegangswegen naar bijzondere plekken. De tips van de eigenaren waren ook waardevol.

Wohnlich und geräumig

Die Wohnung von Azra war toll! Ein großes Wohnzimmer, 2 gemütliche Schlafzimmer, ein hübsches Bad, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, alles gepflegt und wohnlich. Ringsum gab es auf der Terrasse zu jeder Tageszeit immer irgendwo ein Plätzchen, an dem Schatten war. An jedem Fenster gab es Mückennetze und Rollos. Klimaanalage und Ventilatoren machten auch die heißen Nächte einigermaßen erträglich. Azra hat uns nett empfangen und alles schnell erklärt. Wir durften alles benutzen und uns wie zu Hause fühlen. Die Wohnung liegt an einem sehr steilen Hang. Man kann ein paar Meter vorher parken und spart sich die Achterbahnabfahrt ... ;) In der Umgebung findet man schöne Strände (meistens Kiesel, sehr sauberes Wasser) und archäologische Stätten. Azra hat eine Liste mit Adressen zusammengestellt für Strände, Supermärkte, Restaurants ... In Almiri selbst findet man einen Strand mit Bars und Restaurants, kostenlosen Liegen, Schirmen und Parkplätzen, Süßwasserduschen und Umkleidekabinen. Dort konnte man direkt am Meer essen. Für einen Sonnenuntergang kann man ins 30 min Autofahrt entfernte Loutraki fahren. (Strand und viele Restaurants mit Meerblick) Den besten Blick über die Gegend hat man von der Burg von Korinth (Akrokorinth). Parkplatz vor der Burg, kostenloser Eintritt (allerdings nur bis 15:30 Uhr geöffnet), man muss allerdings den Gipfel erklimmen (Aphrodite-Tempel), dann sieht man links den Golf von Korinth, rechts den Saronischen Golf und dazwischen den Kanal von Korinth. Hammer!

Griechische Gastfreundschaft

Bei Avra und Giorgos erlebt man griechische Gastfreundschaft. Als wir ankamen, stand ein leckeres griechisches Abendessen im Ofen. Der Kühlschrank war mit allem gefüllt, was man für ein üppiges Frühstück braucht. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst liebenswürdig und hilfsbereit. Auf Nachrichten bekamen wir stets eine schnelle Antwort. Die Wohnung verfügt über eine schöne Terrasse und hat alles, was man braucht. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist gut, um Ausflüge zu den archäologischen Stätten in diesem Teil des Peloponnes zu unternehmen. Deshalb waren wir auch dorthin gekommen. Für Strandurlaub ist die Gegend etwas weniger geeignet.

Superbe

Rien a dire de plus que tous les commentaires que nous avions lus. Les proprietaires sont plus que charmants. La location a une âme ce qui est suffisamment rare pour être souligné. La vue est superbe comme le jardin qui est savamment entretenu. Il y a de très jolies plages a proximité et de nombreuses visites dans les environs.... un seul conseil : allez y....

Super Urlaub in einer tollen Ferienwohnung

Ich kann diese Ferienwohnung nur empfehlen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Moussaka stand im Ofen, der Weisswein im Kühlschrank! Ein perfekter Start. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gepflegt, mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und einem tollen Blick auf das Meer. Wir haben tolle Ausflüge machen können und das Meer für eine Abkühlung war nie fern.

Traumwohnung abseits vom Massentourismus

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit wunderschöner Terrasse, auf der man immer sowohl Schatten als auch Sonne genießen konnte. Bei unserer verspäteten Ankunft nach Mitternacht hatten die sehr netten Vermieter nicht nur den Kühlschrank gut gefüllt, es standen auch Getränke, ein Kuchen und ein Spinatauflauf für uns bereit. Die Gegend ist herrlich ruhig und rundum gibt es viel zu sehen. Informationen dazu und Restauranttipps gab es von den Hausleuten. Im Ort gibt es gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einige Restaurants (in der Saison auch noch einige mehr). Wir werden auf jeden Fall nochmal wiederkommen.

En fantastisk hyggelig lejlighed, i skønne omgivelser, og en enormt venlig og sød værtinde..

Vi havde en helt vidunderlig uge i denne skønne lejlighed. Den lå perfekt for udflugter, og naturen i området var virkelig fantastisk. Dejlig lejlighed med masser af plads, en skøn have med terraser hvorfra der var den skønneste udsigt. Og så blev modtaget af Avra. Hun er noget af det sødeste, havde lavet musaka som stod i ovnen til os da vi ankom. På bordet stod en nybagt kage og i køleskabet var der alt til næste dags morgenmad. Tusind tak Avra. Tak for jeres gæstfrihed og hjælpsomhed. Grethe og kompagni.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in toller Umgebung

Wir waren im August für 10 Tage da und konnten die Zeit absolut genießen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und groß und man genießt einen wundervollen Ausblick auf Garten und Meer. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und haben uns mit selbst gemachter Moussaka und anderen Leckereien begrüßt. Auch erhielten wir ausführliche Informationen über nahegelegene Strände, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Supermärkte etc. Die Umgebung ist absolut sehenswert. Mykene, Epidauros, Nemea, Athen, Korinth und Nafplio haben wir uns angeschaut und außerdem an wunderschönen Stränden gebadet. In der Wohnung hat es uns an absolut nichts gefehlt. Es gibt sogar Deckenventilatoren und eine Klimaanlage. Tolle Wohnung, tolle Lage, jederzeit wieder.

Séjour parfait

Nous avons particulièrement bien été accueillis par Avra et Georges. La maison est parfaitement bien située pour visiter le Péloponnèse. La location est très bien entretenue, et adaptée aux besoins d'une famille avec des adolescents. Nous remercions vivement Georges et Avra pour leur hospitalité et leur gentillesse.

Aurore et sa famille sont des invités très agréables et sympathiques.On a apprécié leur gentillesse autant que leur capacité d'adaptation à l'environnement local ce qui leur a permis de profiter de leur séjour. Ils ont laissé la maison tres propre et bien rangé. Nous serions ravis de les accueillir de nouveau et nous les recommandons vivement!

Trés agréable séjour dans un cadre magnifigne.

Accueil extrêmement chaleureux de la part de Avra et son époux(merci encore pour ce repas d'accueil) la maison est très agréable avec une vue panoramique sur le golfe de Saronique, une belle terrasse et un jardin très soigné. la maison est proche des sites archéologique tel que Epidaure,Mycènes,Corinthe etc... pas très loin d’Athènes par l'autoroute.La plage est à deux pas. Enfin un endroit que nous avons beaucoup aimé.
