Minimum stay - 30 days

This spacious 2700 sq. ft. home with spectacular views of Georgia Strait, situated minutes from Schooner Cove Marina and Fairview Golf/Country Club, is a perfect place for a getaway for family and friends.

The home is just 20 min. to Nanaimo (Woodgrove Mall); 15 min. to Parksville (Rathtrevor Park), Tigh-na-mara Resort and Spa; 25 min. to Qualicum (Qualicum Cheeseworks) and Coombes Market ( goats on the roof).
Victoria (tea at the Empress, Butchart Gardens) and Tofino/Long Beach (surfing, hiking, whale watching) are only 2 – 2 ½ hours away.
Popular activities include golfing, cycling, hiking the many trails in Fairwinds; fishing, swimming, kayaking, scuba diving around Nanoose Bay, caving at Horn Lake Provincial Park.

The home has 3 bedrooms upstairs and a den on the main floor. There are 3 ½ bathrooms.
The master bedroom has a king bed and en-suite with its own private balcony, overlooking the beach and ocean. The other 2 bedrooms have a queen and twin beds. The den on the main floor has a queen Murphy bed.

From the living, dining and family rooms one can walk out onto the patio to relax and watch the wildlife—deer, seals, otters and eagles. Enjoy a morning coffee or evening nightcap and watch the beautiful sunset; or just walk along the tranquil beach.

Beautiful vacation!

This home is truly oceanfront, kayak and swim friendly! Sunsets, wildlife, ships and sailboats create a 5*show. The house has everything you’ll need and the hosts are delightful.

Amazing location!

This property is in such a beautiful location and the house suited all our needs. There was one challenge when we arrived however Ava was quick and attentive in fixing things for us which was greatly appreciated. Our family had a wonderful relaxing vacation.

Awesome location

This is our second time staying at this location and it is always a joyous time. Everything from the host to house to location was amazing. Everyone enjoyed the backyard that overlooks the ocean. We all loved being able to open the doors and walk straight to the beach. We look forward to our stay again!

Amazing location, great hosts

This property met or exceeded all our expectations. The location was outstanding- we loved being able to walk right out onto the beach anytime we wanted to. The sunsets are incredible from the hot tub and we enjoyed watching the seals, otter, eagles and herons daily from the deck. Ava and Graeme were very responsive hosts, everything was exactly as advertised. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to stay again in the future.

Breathtaking Getaway

Amazing property located in the most picturesque spot. The house was immaculate and was equipped with everything that our family needed. We loved watching all the wildlife around us, relaxing on the patio and exploring the beach. We made memories that will last our family a lifetime and we would recommend this vacation home to everyone! This quiet oasis was the perfect spot for our family to enjoy time together and all the beauty that Nanoose Bay has to offer!

Great House , Peaceful Ocean Setting

This is the third time our family has stayed at this home and we have loved it each time. The ocean front setting is so quiet and peaceful, it is a place to sit back , relax and enjoy the scenery. The house is roomy and well stocked. The owner is easy to talk to and takes care of any problems that may arise in a timely manner. We would all love to go back again next year.

Great location and spacious

Great space for a large family (4 bedrooms in effect) right on the water. Amazing views throughout the day, well stocked kitchen and plenty of space to relax and spread out. Hot tub is nice to have. Master bedroom is spectacular. Other rooms a bit more dated, but clean, comfortable and as shown in photos. Hosts were responsive and helpful when our plans had to be adjusted.

Great beachfront getaway!

This is our 2nd time renting this beachhouse! It was perfect for us! The beach is within seconds from opening the patio doors. Bring a snorkel set as the low tide will show you a bunch of sea creatures that you don't normally see like starfish! Very quiet neighbourhood. Big spacious house. What more could you ask for!

House & waterfront were beautiful!

We had a enjoyable time on the waterfront. Seven of our extended family got together, and we all found something to enjoy. Even though our ages ranged from 72 to 3, we kept busy with photography, swimming, outdoor dinners and even a large screen TV playing constant cartoons for the little ones. The kids loved that thy could swim in the cold ocean, then jump into the hot tub to warm up, repeatedly!

Spectacular View and Beach with Great House

We had friends that stayed at property previously and gave great reviews but their description didn't match what we saw as we arrived at the property and were surprised how much better this house and view overreached our expectations. The owners are so friendly and thorough that everything went so smoothly from beginning to end. The property is right on the ocean and the neighbourhood is fantastic! Lots of first class restaurants within a short driving distance and our favourite, Seascape in Nanoose Bay was actually walkable distance. It was the hottest week of the summer but the A/C in this beautiful spacious house was working perfectly so no problem. Also a championship golf course within a five minute drive. Our family had a tremendous week there and were sad to leave.

Great holiday in Nanoose Bay

The house is large and comfortable, with plenty of room for a family. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The house also comes with plenty of extra linens and household basics. The location of the property is perfect. It's close to large sandy beaches and grocery stores. Anything you might need is minutes away. Its own beach is quiet and secluded. And the view is spectacular.

Fantastic Setting

This is our second time staying at the property and we just love the oceanfront setting . with full sun all day. The house is spacious and has a warm feel to it. The kitchen is well stocked and fairly modern. The owner is quite responsive to any problems that might occur . Maintenance on the house and yard could be a little better but it is only minor . and does not take away from the enjoyment of the house and property. This place is hard to leave and i would love to go back and stay for awhile. I would reccomend this place for anyone looking for a family getaway .

Summer Solstice Magic

This is the second time we have stayed here. The location and views were awesome. We had a very quiet and peaceful stay. We combed many local beaches and hiked at Enos Lake. The sunsets were second to none.

It’s all about the beach

If you enjoy being on the beach, it doesn’t get better than this! From dawn til dusk we spent our time on the beach or in the hot tub. We brought kayaks, paddle boards, fishing rods and a week went by before we dragged ourselves away from the beach for a day to Quadra. Locations like this are very hard find!

Relaxing beach property. Great for families

We had an amazing time. It was so relaxing and the view was stunning. We enjoyed seeing so many different animals from deer and bunnies, to bald eagles and hummingbirds, and even seals, otters and whales. We hope to return. Thank you!

Heaven on Earth

Our family absolutely loved staying at this property ,it was very spacious and clean. The view of the ocean was gorgeous. It is exactly as described. The owner was a nice guy , very good to talk to and helpful. We would love to stay again.

Beautiful!

This is a beautiful home in an amazing location. The house is spacious, well-maintained and very clean. We appreciated how well-stocked the kitchen and house was generally. The pictures really don't do this house justice. The owners provide excellent details about all things concerning your stay here, including directions to the property, checking in and out, contact information, etc. Would definitely recommend this property.

Better than the website

A very well appointed property , great kitchen, right on the water. The sunsets were phenomenal. The house was very comfortable with a fabulous master suite. The living area and family room were elegant and comfortable. A few of the frying pans need replacing, there is however enough to do a great job of cooking anything and a barbecue outside All in all a great place to spend a week
