Mary was wonderful and our stay was delightful! The space was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the breakfast for us before the race and the lake front was perfect for a cool dip in the hot heat. 10 out of 10. We would stay again. We loved it!!!

The property was EXCEPTIONAL! Hosts Mary and Chuck went out of their way to ensure our stay was relaxing, with minimal complications. We received a welcome bottle of wine (partly to help us celebrate my birthday), along with ingredients for all of our breakfasts. Other basic food items were also provided (mayonnaise, mustard , ketchup, salad dressings, olive oil and assorted seasonings).Given the opportunity, we would definitely return to this tranquil place!

Hidden Gem

The location and lakefront were perfect for a mix of bike touring, wine tasting and relaxation. Hosts Mary and Chuck couldn't have been more accommodating. We really enjoyed it!

Gem of a place

Beautifully kept property, clean and well appointed. Exactly as shown in the photos. We were here during a heat wave and the lake was great. Nice to kayak or paddle board around in the morning! Close to a lot of great wineries.

Fantastic Stay!

The most beautiful spot right on the lake. Every single amenity available inside the unit from great A/C to washer and dryer. The only slight negative would be the comfort level of the bed but otherwise a perfect 10!

Beautiful location with many extras

Thank you for the great place in Oliver! It is right on the water and we enjoyed some time paddle boarding before spending the night resting in the comfortable space. We appreciated the fridge stocked with breakfast items and the use of a washer/dryer. We would return and recommend this space.

A very nice get away!

What an excellent ecperience! It was very much what was advertised. The larder was so well stocked we couldn't believe it. This is close to town, but not in town, calm and peaceful. Lots of nature, and the lake is beautiful. Mary and Chuck, you did a great job, we truly enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic Property!

What a perfect place to stay while spending time in Wine Country. The location is fantastic and very easy to get to. The suite is incredible. It is fully stocked; has anything you could possible want or need. The patio directly outside the suite is beautiful. You get breath taking views of the lake, perfect spot to have morning coffee and a glass of wine at the end of the day. I am excited to plan our next trip to BC and am hoping we can stay here again. Thank you so much for an incredible stay.

Perfect for golf, wineries, relaxation (and on a lake)

A beautiful suite and yard on a warm, quiet lake. Walked into lake from back yard after hot day of golf and wineries. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was stocked with enough food to make breakfasts (and even lunch). Private patio with barbeque, floaties and other items for the lake and even a bottle of wine waiting on arrival. Will definitely return.

The hosts left us a thoughtful gift and written greeting in the suite, and then greeted us after we had settled in. The home was spotlessly clean. The host contacted us in advance to ask about our breakfast preferences, and then generously provided all we needed and more. The kitchen is well supplied to cook any meal you wish, and there were numerous coffee and tea options. The suite opens onto a private patio with dining table and barbecue. Beyond are a lush green lawn, a beautiful mature willow tree, the lake, and a mountain view. We enjoyed the use of the hostsā€™ kayaks for a pleasant paddle around a motor-free lake. Oliver is a quiet town with excellent amenities and activities, including numerous wineries. This was by far our best accommodation yet, and we highly recommend it.

Breathtaking!

Chuck and Mary have thought of everything and they are the friendliest of hosts. We felt at home and we hadn't even unpacked yet! The suite is spotless and Mary has thought of everything for a self-serve breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding around the quiet and serene lake and then coming back for a full breakfast on the deck. Fantastic experience!

What an amazing location! The unit itself is excellent: well-appointed, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils one would need to cook there, and a BBQ grill is provided. Located on the lake, there's a beautiful willow tree and landscaped yard a few steps from the back door. I took advantage of the kayak and lifejacket provided to do an evening paddle, and it was terrific. The owners also provide a "self-serve breakfast", which undersells the variety of options available: cereals, fruits, bacon, hash browns, pancake mix, milk, etc. The owners were gracious enough to ask about my own dietary needs and were very accommodating. Without a doubt, this will be my go-to location when I'm in the region. Completely recommended!

VRBO on the lake.

What a beautiful setting on Tuc el Nuit Lake in Oliver. The rental unit was the most well equipped we have ever rented. Almost better than home. It was very comfortable for two people. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would love to return.

Tuclenuit Inn is on the lake and it is beautiful!

This is a great property on the lake. It has a good full size kitchen and lots of food items to choose from, for making your own breakfast, which was a great add-on. Kayaks and paddleboards were used- so nice. To sit in the morning and/or the evening down at the water is so so peaceful. Loved it. There is not really anywhere to walk tho, as it is a busy fast road with no sidewalks. We went for a 6 km run in and around Oliver, and it was a bit crazy on some of the corners. there is a great walking, cycling path in town that a local pointed out to us. it is great! but further away from this vrbo. Room has living area, one bedroom, kitchen and full bathroom. The furnishings, sheets, towels, etc, are quite dated, and the bed was just ok for comfort, but everything is tidy and in good working order.

Wine Tasting

Beautiful property with great amenities! Even a table set up close to the lake to enjoy a morning coffee while taking in the view! An extremely well-stocked kitchen made our stay even better. Overall a fantastic property.

Great stay

This place had everything I needed and more. Very well appointed suite, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable; there was plenty of towels and breakfast options. Relaxing by the lake with a morning cup of coffee was a great way to start the day. Mary and Chuck are great hosts. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location...with a few unexpected encounters

The unit has everything you need away from home and has a beautiful view of the lake. Owners are super friendly and helpful if you need anything. On arrival a lovely note and bottle of wine were left for us which was very sweet. The air conditioning was a saviour during the 40 degree heat wave! That being said, it was not as clean as we are used to, coffee pot was dirty along with some dishes we went to use, shower curtain liner, cutting boards and scrub brush could stand to be changed. As nice as it is to be by the water the lake is stinky at times and the bottom feels like sludge on your feet. Not the owners fault, but would be good to know before renting. Also we saw 2 small water snakes, but that worried me more than my husband. Not as much privacy as we would have liked (especially during a pandemic) as the walkway to get to the lake was right next to the unit and used by many guests with one even finding their way onto our patio. The rental units patio space has a trellis that separates you from the main house patio, so absolutely no privacy, with all the guests staring at us as we cooked one night and talking and laughing so loud we couldnā€™t hear ourselves speak to each other on our patio and had to head inside to eat. We were able to social distance on the lawn by the lake and that was appreciated. The neighbours have a very loud air conditioning unit that runs what felt like 24/7, so your outside space is not serene and relaxing. Having rented many VRBOā€™s in the past, having a space that is quiet is super important for us to escape from our jobs and this is something we have valued and found in all of our previous rentals. The location of the unit is close to many delicious wineries, which we took advantage of. Overall an ok rental property as long as you know what to expect.
