Newly Reduced! Family Cabin with Sand Beach & Swimming Area 2 Hours From Cities

Let the loons be your wake-up call! This cabin has great privacy in a quiet and relaxing setting and sits only 35 feet from the lake. The sand beach, swimming raft and clear waters of Miller Lake provide an ideal swimming spot. Let the kids enjoy endless hours of fishing right from the dock. Enjoy seasonal strawberry, raspberry and blueberry picking at a small farm just one mile from the cabin.

The cabin is perfectly suited for families, couples or a girls' getaway! Situated on Miller Lake only 2 hours from the Cities, the cabin has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths (main bathroom with shower and his and her sinks, and a half bath in the Master Bedroom). It can sleep up to 8 people, with two queen beds, a full/twin bunk bed, and a pull out queen futon. The kitchen is located in the great room and is open to the dining room and living room, which includes the stone wood-burning fireplace. The great room has high ceilings with large windows that offer great sunlight and views of the lake! Miller Lake is right out your front door, just steps from the front deck.

The cabin is set up to be easy for families, even with young children. You can sit on the deck or be working inside, and keep an eye on the kids as they play on the sand beach or fish off the dock. There's also a four season porch with a TV and children's DVDs. Both a Pack and Play and high chair are available upon request.

Miller Lake is a small picturesque lake about 5 miles outside Garrison and Lake Mille Lacs. The lake has 12 feet of clarity and is 40 feet deep so it is ideal for all sorts of water recreation. We provide two adult kayaks, two children's kayaks and a canoe for you to explore the lake, however please note that there is no public access point for you to bring your own boat.

The town of Garrison is only 5 miles away, with a grocery store, a few restaurants, a liquor store, and other businesses. Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge, which offers a waterside dining area, is 12 minutes north. Mille Lacs Kathio State Park is 20 minutes south. Downtown Brainerd is about 20 minutes West, with all it has to offer. Paul Bunyan Land is 10 minutes from the cabin and offers rides, a petting farm and a pioneer village to explore as well as seasonal exhibits for Fall and Winter.

Other amenities include a gas grill (we provide the propane), LG washer and dryer, wifi, and fire pit.

We prefer to rent for 7 nights during the summer, but will consider three night stays if the cabin is still open two weeks prior to rental date. Two-night minimum stays are required for Fall, Winter and Spring.
