If you are looking for a little piece of heaven, you have found it. A unique lake front home with "miles" and I do mean "miles" of unobstructed lake views. This very special lake lot is level, has deep water, spectacular yard, a firepit and it's own boat ramp. The home features 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, open kitchen, dining and living room all with endless views of Lake Norman. The massive covered back patio allows for a morning or afternoon nap or is the perfect gathering place for the family. This home is tucked in a quiet cove so you don't have the main channel traffic but yet you have the 'main channel view for as far as the eye can see. There are many activities (golf, tennis, shopping, restaurants, etc) within the immediate area but I think most folks just enjoy sitting on the patio and letting the stress of everyday life just melt away. If you experience a week on this serene lake retreat I know you will be back for more.

24 Ft tritoon pontoon boat available to rent for $450 per day.
Yamaha jet ski available to rent for $400 per day.

Note: I do require a 4 night minimum rental for the months of June, July and August.

Tranquil and Delightful

An incredibly beautiful home on the lake. The property is very well manicured and maintained. You’ll want to spend your time on the back porch / patio enjoying the view of the lake. Their home is welcoming, very comfortable and nicely appointed - you’ll feel as a home away from home.Without hesitation, if in the area again, we will hope this gem is available. Thank you!

If your looking for a nice clean very peaceful and comfortable home. Look no further!!

Me my husband and our kids booked this home for spring break just a quick lil get away and I must say this home is everything! We rented there boat enjoyed sunset went fishing caught a huge catfish had s’mores by the fire pit went swimming in the lake had a BBQ I could go on and on trust me you won’t be disappointed. VERY PEACEFUL AND RELAXING the owners are very nice people and respond at a timely manner. Can’t wait to go back!

Vday Weekend

I had an amazing time here. We stayed the whole weekend. This house was beautiful, it was clean, comfortable & the owner Mr. Long made sure we had all of the necessities available to us. The view of the lake was so relaxing. Will definitely rent again & I highly recommend to others!

Wedding weekend

Family long weekend

I have stayed on Lake Norman several times and this by far is my favorite property. A great back yard that offers a great wide open view of the lake. The covered back patio was great to relax on in the evenings. The accommodations were clean and had more than enough room for our family of 6. I look forward to stayin again.

Great Weekend

The best short stay rental we have had. Perfect spot on the lake. Definitely worth renting the pontoon boat as well. House is clean and very comfortable. Beds are quality too. We will be back!

Last family vacay for a bit…

We stayed here for our “last family vacay” for a bit. We have a son leaving for basic training within a month and after that we have no idea where he will end up. The pictures do NOT do this home justice. It’s beautiful and the lake view…WOW! Having the boat available for rent at the end of the dock was like the icing on the cake. Even though we only had one day of great weather, thanks to the storm Debby, we had a great time. Communication with the owner was so easy. 10/10 would stay here again!

Relaxing get away!

We had the best time at what a view! The view is just beautiful! My boys fished all weekend long. The house is stocked with all the things you need! Owner is very responsive and helpful. It was truly an incredible weekend!

Teen trip

3 moms and 4 teens rented this house to celebrate the summer birthdays of our boys. The house fit us perfectly and the location on the lake was great! We enjoyed renting the boat that came with the house so the boys could tube. Our only complaint was it lacked the starter supplies that typically come with house rentals. There were no paper towels when we arrived, all the toilet paper in each bathroom was close to running out and there was only 1 dishwasher pod under the sink. Overall, this house was great and we had an amazing time!

Relaxing Thanksgiving Getaway

Clean, cozy and well stocked. My first thanksgiving without extended family. It was just my family of four and it was great. Peyton’s place is a perfect family vacation spot with full lake view. We loved that we didn’t have to entertain our boys. The lake took care of that. Our boys went fishing everyday. We enjoyed every minute. Thanks again Danny!

One of the best weekends we ever had!!

I would like to open my words with saying that I travel a lot and never have the time to leave a review. This time I just had to. Danny is an amazing host and he is renting a piece of heaven. Literally. We stayed for the weekend with our in-laws visiting town and we could not ask for more. The house is perfect, well maintained, you have everything you can imagine you'll need and more. The Pontoon boat was a ton of fun and he even had a room full of games for our little one (2.5 years old). Thank you Danny for a weekend full of memories! We will surely recommend your place and will come and visit again! Matt Eldar and the Family

Wow! We'll do What A View Again

The perfect place for my 80th birthday celebration with our sons and granddaughters! We plan on bringing our family back again! Beautifully and comfortably furnished inside and out with plenty of space. Not just a rental- we felt very much at home as soon as we walked in! The floor plan is ideal for a family gathering! Danny Long made sure we were comfortable and didn’t need anything. Very responsive and easy to talk to. I was very surprised to find the beds remarkably comfortable in any posture (I'm old). We enjoyed the large tub, a treat for us. Our son, a french chef, prepared a huge dinner in the kitchen and on the barbecue. Had everything we needed. We ate outside, very comfortable and had plenty of room. We enjoyed the fire pit until late. Could see Cygnus (the Swan) overhead -orange & blue double star). I’ll bring my telescope next trip. We all cruised the lake on the pontoon boat, the highlight of our trip. We’ll do that again. The water surprisingly comfortable after the initial entry. Danny put it in the water for us. We took care of 22 properties in Hawaii and have rented beach properties here - this was the best of any! Exceptional! Can’t say enough!

Cleaning and maintenance was substandard

I consider the cleaning fee to be a scam. At the front door I was met with spiderwebs. The porch light fixture was so full of dead bugs that the light barely shined through it. One showers curtain had red mold growth. A dripping faucet in the master tub had left extensive green residue. The top of the refrigerator was caked with dust. The oven was filthy. I opened a cooler on the patio and found stagnant water and a moldy ball. The toilet in the master bath would run unless the flush handle was manipulated. The floor felt dirty. A rug in the living room was stained or dirty. It was clear that only the most superficial cleanings had been done and the dirt accumulated over a long period of time. I have pictures to document the condition of the rental. think that I should be refunded the cleaning and set up fee.

Thanksgiving at the lake

We had a great stay at this property. Kitchen and pantry were well stocked with everything you may need. The bedrooms were a little smaller than pictured and all but the master lacked closet space. The den, kitchen and outdoor porches provided plenty of gathering space. Overall a great place to enjoy some family time with a beautiful view.

This home and lot are truly one of a kind. I looked for 8 years to find that "perfect" lake lot and once you experience a day or a week at Peyton's Place I think you will agree it is just that, "perfect".

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The most obvious benefit of this home is the "MILES" of lake views that you have. You can sit on the patio or sit in the living room, kitchen or dining room and just enjoy the endless views of Lake Norman. In addition you will also get to see an abundance of wildlife, with our neighborhood deer, ducks, geese, and sea gulls. Late in the afternoon you may also get to see the local Ospery diving for his/her dinner, very entertaining.
