2 Bedroom, walk on waterfront cottage, fully furnished, open floor plan, hot tub, parking, BBQ, year round accommodation located 10 minutes from the Comox Airport and 15 minutes from downtown Courtenay and Comox shopping. Built in 2014, modern, with TV, DVD, internet and wi-fi. Watch the ocean from the front patio with cruise ships passing by and all the wildlife the Comox Valley has to offer. Bates Beach is close by with boat and kayak rentals, boat launch and fishing opportunities. Mount Washington ski and recreation resort is 45 minutes away. Centrally located on Vancouver Island in the heart of recreation and culture with many possibilities close at hand.
The cottage also offers full laundry facilities, outside shower, wood burning fireplace/stove, the ocean facing bedroom has one queen bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds. patio furniture and a kitchen with all appliances and utensils necessary to make your stay a pleasant one.
PLEASE NOTE base rental rate quoted is for 2 guests. There is an additional charge for each guest (including children) beyond 2.

This was my second stay, and I enjoyed it even more than the first time because it was familiar. A friend came for a couple of nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful ambiance, the fireplace and hot tub. Every day here is unique. I didn't want to come home! The cabin has a great location with quiet waterfront lawn, unless you think birds are noisy. We were greeted by a lovely bouquet of dahlias on the kitchen table & in the bathroom. The cabin is comfortably furnished and the wood stove does kick out quite a bit of heat. We enjoyed watching all of the aquatic happenings and listening to bird calls, plus sunsets & sunrises, one of which was one of our best ever. We would definitely return to stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at this fantastic property while we were making visits to my father-in-law at North Island Hospital. What an absolutely incredible reprieve this property was. It had everything we needed, and then some. Loved being able to sit in the hot tub and watch the eagles and herons while listening to the waves. Great location, close to trails and other beaches to explore. We're already talking about coming back under better circumstances to find even more enjoyment.

Beautiful, cozy stay!

The cottage was so lovely! It was very well equipped with kitchen supplies, towels for both the bathroom hot tub/beach, and the beds were nice and comfortable. Everything was very clean when we arrived, too! The hot tub was amazing, and well-maintained. It was so nice having laundry and detergent provided, too. There was a small mixup at check-in (the guests who had rented the other one ended up taking our cottage) as the cottages themselves are unmarked, but Dianne arrived relatively quickly to sort things out. We would absolutely stay here again!!

A Unique, Peaceful, Refreshing Escape

Every person who stays in this gem of a location will have a unique experience. I stayed seven nights in October, and a friend came for two. The neighbourhood was empty and very quiet. The cottage had most of the comforts I needed. The highlight for me was being in the hot tub late one night in the dark, and hearing a whale blowing out its blowhole. It was amazing! I definitely would love to stay again, and can't say enough good things about staying there. I had an easy booking experience and Rosalie was great to communicate with online. She made every effort to help. I didn't see the owners, which was fine because I came for solitude. Obviously everything worked well in my cottage. I applaud and thank them for creating these two cottages for people to come and make beautiful memories!! I'm grateful!!

Expansive View

We felt totally relaxed in this cabin located right on the beach! There is a 160 degree view of the mountain range on the mainland~lots of eagle activity and we saw five herons fishing together at low tide. We enjoyed meeting the property owner when she brought us flower bouquets from her garden. We had everything we needed and our corgi was right at home too! It was close enough to visit Campbell River and take the ferry to Quadra Island. The hot tub was a nice addition. We would love to stay again in the future!

Wonderful cottage

This is our 4th stay at the Udina Bay cottages. There's a reason we keep coming back. The solitude, views and privacy are worth the drive from Victoria. The owner's are super easy and quick with communication. We will be back!

We have lived in the Comox Valley most of our lives and owned this property since the early 1960's. In 2012 the cottage was rebuilt from the foundation up so it is new, modern, comfortable and a great place to relax and unwind. We wanted to share it's beauty.
