Locker, Gray, Judah family holiday

Lovely place to stay for a big group of 7 adults and 3 children. Amenities in the property and around the area were perfect. Grocery shops within easy walking distance and le chat qui peche was an unforgettable restaurant experience

The property is great - it’s in a quiet location, has good sized rooms andUnfortunately we were there when it was very hot and there is only one AC unit in the property which didn’t do too much to cool the property. Fans were providedMosquitos also meant we couldn’t have the windows open.Simon was great with contact and check in was smooth.

An idyllic stay

A wonderful place,great garden, pool and plenty of room for family and friends. Simon was outstanding in every way. We spent two months in Argeliers and enjoyed every day,with memorable trips to Carcassonne, Beziers, Narbonne, Perpignan,Montpellier inter alia. I would recommend the villa without reservation.

I’Oasis

Gite l’Oasis in Argeliers was a lovely spacious property. Easily able to accommodate 16 people. The outside space was fantastic with plenty of seating and an excellent bbq area. The pool was lovely with plenty of sun loungers. Would definitely recommend.

Good value for money - very good for Families

We had a great and relaxing stay with 4 families in the house. (8 adults with 8 children between 6 and 11 years). There was enough space for everyone to sleep as well as sit inside and outside. The new owner took care of any problems immediately and was very friendly and accommodating. The outdoor kitchen was very practical. The children enjoyed using the table football and pool table in the garage, which gave them an additional play area in the garage. The property was large enough and nicely planted and fenced. There are great places to visit nearby such as Minerve and Narbonne and you could walk to the village of Argeliers and along the canal.

Amazing family holiday

We had a lovely holiday in Argeliers last week. We visited the villa as a large family (8 adults and 6 children under 10) and it was a great place to stay. The garden and swimming pool are a real asset, with lots of outdoor dining space surrounding the (gated!) pool and what our children referred to as their own private playground! The villa needs a little TLC inside but this didn’t really bother us spending so much time outside. The kitchen, lounge etc had everything you could need. Simon was an amazing host, helping with organising, he even picked us up from the airport due to issues with taxis in the area, you can’t really ask for more! I would recommend hiring a car or a bike as things to do in the town are quite limited so you would get the most from your time if you visited some of the wineries and villages around you, unless you are planning on spending all your time by the pool! Thank you for a wonderful week!

Wonderful

We were 15 persons, three generations from 2 to 58 years old and we all had a fantastic two weeks in Argeliers and the Oasis villa. There were things for everyone. Of course, the pool was the center piece during the days, when we didn't do sightseeing all over Aude. For the youngest kids, the play area was super, located in a shadey area where the older could play petanque while watching the children. For breakfast and wonderful long barbeques, the outdoor kitchen and sitting area was perfect. Argeliers itself had a great bakery and winerie's that supported our basic needs, and for food shopping there is a small store in the village and supermarkets conveniently close by car. The bedrooms are spacious, with great beds and with bathroom/shower facilities enough for everybody. I warmly recomend spending a vacation here. Mr. Marand is very helpful and supportive and for sure we will do this a

Brilliant family gathering

16 of us (10 adults and 6 children aged 2 to 6) stayed at L'Oasis for 13 days in July/August. We had a wonderful time all together celebrating my husbands 70th birthday. The villa was perfect with lots of room for everyone both inside and out. It was very clean and well organised with everything we needed, even down to a potty! The crowning glory was the pool, it was beautiful and was well looked after, always clean. The children also had a play area as well as games in the garage. We visited the fruit farm and nearby villages for rock pooling and splashing in the rivers as well as Carcassone and Beziers. There is a Supermarket just nearby but not much in the village. The house is a little dated but that adds to the charm and makes you feel relaxed and at peace, you are not on edge , particularly with little ones, however it functions beautifully and is well thought out. Simon the host and his mother were extremely kind, approachable and helpful. Simon organised a caterer and cake for my husband's birthday party. (Marcelle at the nearby restaurant, excellent). He also provided fans immediatly when we requested more. If you are looking for peace and relaxation without fuss and rules this is the place to be. It was excellent and a very happy holiday was had by all.

Wonderful holiday

Firstly, Simon, the host, was outstanding and couldn’t have done any more to help us. His communication was first class. The property is big: very big! It had enough rooms for 16 of us and plenty of space around the pool and in the garden. The outdoor bbq area with seating for 16 was used on a daily basis and provided a lovely area for us all to gather each evening or at lunch. Argeliers as a small town has very little to do. However, there is a supermarket within 5 minutes and plenty of places to visit if you have a car. For instance, within a five minute drive, you can find wine tasting and some truly great restaurants. A bit further afield is Narbonne and Carcasonne. Both very much worth a visit. The price of the property does reflect its condition. It’s all perfectly clean and everything is in working order. However, it could do with more bathrooms, the pool needs a bit of work and so does the patio area and gardens. However, if you spent the money to do this, the price would double! Ultimately, we were very happy and the only reason it wasn’t 5 stars was because of the lack of bathrooms.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment, la région est vraiment chouette et la villa était agréable pour l’ensemble du groupe.Petit bémol concernant la salle de bain cassée (2 salles de bain c’était un peu juste pour 14 personnes) et quelques aspects de la villa un peu vétustes, mais dans l’ensemble nous avons été satisfaits de notre séjour.

Très jolie maison au calme

Une maison très bien pensée pour les voyageurs en famille comme nous ! La piscine est superbe et la cuisine extérieur très pratique pour profiter un maximum des belles journées minervoise . La maison est très bien située, au calme, avec énormément de chose à visiter aux alentours. Nous reviendrons très certainement ! Encore merci pour ce beau séjour !

Rundum gelungener Urlaub

Seit mehreren Jahren machen wir einen gemeinsamen Urlaub mit vielen Freunden ( diesmal 11 Personen). Wichtig ist uns ein gut ausgestattetes Haus. Die Räumlichkeiten sind großzügig, viel Platz für alles. Ob Boule, Billard, Spielplatz, parken für Alle, Waschmaschine, an alles ist gedacht. Da wir gerne kochen, ist die Küche sehr wichtig. Hier fehlte es an nichts. Als die Kaffeemaschine kaputt ging, hatte unser Vermieter Claude sogar eine in Reserve. Geschirr und Küchengeräte, alles ist da. Im Pool kann man prima Schwimmen und er wird täglich gereinigt. In nächster Nähe (fusslöufig) ist ein intermarché, im Dorf Bäcker und Metzger und nicht weit weg 2 sehr gute Lokale. Wir hatten Fahrräder dabei, Ausflüge am canal de midi, nach Minerve, ans Meer oder in ein Weingut, alles ist möglich. Ausgerechnet am Tag unserer Abreise hatten wir einen platten Reifen am Auto. Unser Vermieter Claude bot uns sofort seine Hilfe an, und wechselte uns fachmännisch den Reifen. Herzlichen Dank ihm!!! Trotz Panne ein rundum gelungener Urlaub!

"Cette villa est magnifique,bien équipée pour plusieurs familles. J''ai particulièrement apprécié les terrasses,barbecue,cuisine extérieure,jardins, la piscine, la salle à manger et sa décoration exotique, le stationnement facile de 5 voitures, le garage pour nos 6 vtt, la situation géographique.Une véritable "OASIS" où il fait bon se détendre entre amis, dans un environnement délicieux, sans contraintes.Le propriétaire est très sympathique et très serviable.Une location exceptionnelle qui a contribuée au succès de notre séjour, et à recommander à ses amis sans hésitations !"

Idyllique

L'Eden sur terre, agencement idéal, localisation idéale. Vous pouvez faire vos courses sans prendre de voiture et vous avez également un maraicher où vous cueillez vous mêmes vos fruits et légumes de saison. Les chambres et les espaces communs sont très spacieux. Un vrai havre de paix. Nous avons profité chaque jour de la piscine. Le propriétaire est à l'écoute de nos moindres demandes et est extrêmement sympathique. Notre "club des 12" y retournera avec grand plaisir prochainement .A consommer sans modération !

Un bon accueil, une maison spacieuse, avec de beaux volumes. Un jardin et des jeux pour les enfants. Nous avons pu visiter les alentours : Minerve , l oulibo, les gorges d merci....

La domaine est spacieux, avec une belle piscine et terrasse. La maison est très spacieuse, mais besoin de quelques rénovations. Le propriétaire était très gentil et il venait tout de suite quand nous avions une question.

Très beau séjour !!!

Habitué à partir en groupe, nous étions 8 adultes et 7 enfants, et nous avons tous passés un très bon séjour, la villa est spacieuse et possède tout ce qu'il faut. Le propriétaire est sympathique et se soucis qu'il ne manque rien. La piscine est grande, il y a des chaises longues pour tout le monde, la cuisine extérieur est très pratique. Une location que je recommande fortement.

Merveilleuse villa!

Notre séjour dans la villa de M. Marande a été tout simplement merveilleux. M. Marande était disponible lorsque nous avions des questions ou des demandes, il y répondait la journée même. La villa est belle, très bien équipée et la piscine est formidable. La villa est bien grande pour accommoder un grand groupe, sans sentir que l’on manque d’espace! Si nous n’habitions pas si loin (on vient du Canada), on y retournerait sans hésitations! De plus, Argeliers est un très beau village et nous pouvions aller à pied chercher nos croissants le matin ou aller à la petite épicerie pour faire quelques courses. Sinon, avec l’auto, tout est à proximité. Nous recommandons fortement la villa à tous ceux qui cherchent un endroit idyllique pour leurs vacances!

La maison des bonheurs !

Pour la seconde fois, avec un groupe d'amis, nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette magnifique maison pourvue de tout ce qu'un groupe peut attendre d'une location sous le soleil, avec notre premier bain le jeudi 13 avril ! Bien sûr nous reviendrons !

Super séjour à l' Oasis

Nous étions entre amis pour un anniversaire , la maison offre tout le confort et l'espace. Les chambres sont spacieuses, les salons confortables. Nous reviendrons pour profiter de la magnifique piscine . Je recommande vivement cette location qui a un rapport qualité prix imbattable .
