Welcome to Remy’s Refuge!

Our 4-bedroom, 3-bath Orlando vacation rental house was designed for fun. Bring your friends, your family, and your friends’ families …and bring your pets! We’re dog-friendly here and love welcoming your four-legged family members. Remy's Refuge offers all the comforts of a hotel plus perks like:

An open living space for hanging out together. A private, lake-view pool and spacious hot tub that’s all yours (no need to deal with someone else’s splashing kids)! A game room in the garage with a full-size pool table, as well as tables, stools, and an assortment of puzzles, board games, and toys. Two master suites, each with king-sized beds and their own attached baths. Two guest bedrooms that sleep 4 more.

And, of course, the insider expertise of two true Disney Fanatics…us! We are Amanda and Trevor, two Canadians who started dreaming of our own place in Orlando the first day we visited. (Our wish came true in 2014!)

OUR LOCATION

We know you’re wondering…and yes, our location is excellent! In fact, our neighborhood of Oak Island Cove is known for being one of the closest communities to Disney. The nearest park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, is just 3.4 miles away. The furthest park is just 15 to 20 minutes away, depending on traffic.

So when the last firework pops against the night sky at the end of a long, enchanting day, you’re just a short drive from the comforts of home.

OUR POOL

When you get back, flip on the patio lights, and close out the day with one more treat: an evening swim or a relaxing soak in the 7-person hot tub. Our pool area is totally enclosed and private, and backs up against a small lake. Listen to the crickets and frogs and watch the moonlight glitter on the water. And laugh at the mosquitos, which can’t reach you through the screens!

You can also take a Disney-detox day and just hang out together at home. Tired of lounging by the pool? Set up a pool tournament in the game room. Or play a game of cornhole out by the lake! There are countless nearby attractions, too, from wineries to theatres to ghost tours to delicious restaurants.

OUR KITCHEN

Remy’s Refuge makes dining in and saving money seriously easy. Our kitchen is fully equipped with all large and small appliances, plus cabinets stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils...everything. Or mix it up and grill outside on the gas grill. We provide the propane free of charge.

We also offer vouchers for complimentary grocery delivery. Imagine arriving at the rental to a fridge full of your favorites!

You can always put the money you save toward one incredible meal at Victoria & Albert’s (an AAA Five Diamond recipient and Disney’s #1 restaurant).

OUR STYLE

Many Orlando vacation rental homes have “park-themed” bedrooms. We do, too…but we also have the benefit of Amanda’s interior design certification! So our bedrooms are playful AND stylish, and pay subtle tribute to some of the greats: Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Ratatouille, Muppets, Lego and Harry Potter.
