Alpine Creek #3 by Cottonwood Lodging - LOCAL EXCELLENCE IN HOSTING!

Important note: 4wd/awd and snow tires (3SFMP) or chains are legally required in the canyon during winter months (November - April) to make it safely to the home. UPD will be checking tires at the mouth of the canyon to ensure these requirements are met. DO NOT TAKE UBERS OR LYFTS TO THIS PROPERTY.

Alpine Creek #3 is managed by locally owned and operated property manager Cottonwood Lodging Company where the guest experience is most important. Please reach out for information about the area and other services offered by Cottonwood Lodging.

Located in the Solitude Village, this newly updated condo with slopeside views provides a private bedroom with a queen bed, and a loft with another queen bed. Each sleeping space has its own full bathroom. The condo is walking distance to slopes and Solitude Village's restaurants and shopping (less than 550 yards!), Alpine Creek 3 features modern and tasteful decor, vaulted ceilings for an extra-spacious feel, a deck with gas grill, a private gear room with boot dryer, and an office space with a desk and printer in the loft. You may also choose to ski out from the road in front of the home and across the Village plaza to the lifts (please note - the walk back will have an uphill portion for a few minutes). Off the slopes, enjoy gorgeous mountain views from the huge living room windows or take advantage of free access to Club Solitude with its outdoor pool, hot tubs, sauna, exercise room, game room, and movie room!

Garage parking for 1 car and driveway parking for 1 car available.

ENTRY LEVEL:
-Living Room- gas fireplace, cozy couch and armchair, and DirectTV + Samsung TV.

-Kitchen/Dining Area- the kitchen has all necessary tools to cook up your meals, while the dining table has plenty of room for 4 guests.

-Primary Bedroom- comfortably dressed Queen bed, dresser, and closet with an ensuite full bathroom.

-Half Bathroom/Laundry- A half bath with a converted laundry area is located off the kitchen. Take advantage of a full-sized washer/dryer and provided detergent!

LOFT:
-Queen Bed- equally as cozy as the one in the primary bedroom!

-Full Bathroom- basic toiletries and towels are provided.

-Office Area- A modern and functional desk, printer, and speaker setup is the perfect setup for a working vacation. Free wifi is provided through Solitude.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay. Great location in the village. There is a lot of uphill and upstairs walking from the village. We are a family of four with two teenagers so we could handle all of the walking. One bedroom & a loft with a queen bed so we needed an aero bed for one of our teenagers. Very small living area, great kitchen. We absolutely loved the game room, fitness facilities, and all of the other amenities.

Nice stay at Solitude!

We love Solitude and had a very nice stay. This condo had one of the better stocked kitchens I have seen. We even needed a thread and needle to mend a pair of bibs and found that in a utility drawer. Liked being able to brew a pot of coffee and having spices, etc., available when cooking. The condo was cozy and being able to see the ski lift and watch skiing by a fireplace was an added bonus. The walk up the hill the first day was a bit of a hike with ski's but once you got oriented and realized how close you were , it was not that far. I would recommend this condo for families. Having three bathrooms was nice too!

Fabulous Unit in Solitude

We enjoyed our time at this unit. Easy access to Solitude by walking to the Apex lift. And also easy drive to Alta and Deer Valley.

Great weekend

We had a great weekend in solitude. This unit is as advertised. Very clean, has everything you need and then some. You really only need to bring your clothes. We stopped at Dans on the way in a got some groceries. We forgot coffee but guessing someone had not used all of theirs so we were in luck. Only issue is long walk back up hill after skiing. Access to club solitude was a bonus. We would go back.

Great ski-in, ski out with amazing view and the house has everything.

I really loved this place. Beautiful view from the house. Going to the slopes is very easy going down the street to the lifts. Back is a short walk, but nothing bad. I really appreciated that the house is just stocked with everything you could need to be as comfortable as your own house. Everything was very easy. Will come back.

Reviewer Comments: What an amazing escape from reality. with walking/ skiing distance from the resort you cant go wrong. the furnishings made me feel right at home. I would love to stay there again next season! i would say the only down fall is the walk back from anywhere in solitude village. that walk can be pretty brutal when carrying all your riding gear, plus it got pretty icy on that road. (but i completely understand how out of your hands the conditions are). it was an amazing stay and i look forward to staying again in the future.

Loved it

The place has a nice vibe and is well equipped. Views from three sides - all very good especially looking up at the Solitude slopes. We asked for a couple of pillows and management was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay

The condo is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. Very enjoyable for our family of four. The kitchen is very well stocked, including spices and some cooking essentials. The property managers were incredibly responsive, helpful, and really nice. We loved our stay.

Nice Place … long walk home

Overall, nice place. Comfortable and clean. Attractively appointed. Kitchen was well stocked and functional. Plenty of hot water. Great view from the office desk in the loft. Living area would be a little cramped with more than three people. Only significant downside is the long uphill walk home after a long day of skiing.

It was close enough to SLC not be a hassle to drop down there every other day, and it wasn’t too far out of the way for people to come up and visit. Only negative I can say is the fridge is really loud and probably needs to be replaced soon - the compressor is working triple time. Saw Moose on a hike close to the cabin!

A lovely condo but....

The condo is beautiful, well stocked, mattresses are terrific, the manager was just lovely and went out of her way to help me out with a forgotten toothbrush and bathing suit. The place was immaculate. My only caveat is the description of ski in and ski out , this condo is up a steep hill, that means you can easily ski down the road to get to the slope but since there is no place to leave one's ski's after skiing, you have to hike back up that hill with ski's and boots, etc. I found that a bit difficult. Solitude is a fantastic mountain for all ski levels and everyone in the village shops were very helpful and friendly.

I was worried that the condo was so close to the road, but the doors and windows are very well insulated, and it was October, so few travelers then. It was just the weekend get-away we needed!
