Convenient Location to Snowmass Mall and Slopes

Great property for a family vacation! Conveniently located about 50 yards from access to Fanny Hill and just a few stairs from Snowmass Mall.

The host was very welcoming and responsive. The condo is lovely, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. While everything was great, the thing that stood out the most is how well equipped the unit is. The kitchen has every dish, tool, and appliance you could ever imagine. They also have a cabinet which is well furnished with all the spices and items you hate to buy to use for a sprinkle or a shake into a dish. They have games and toys for the kids and plenty of necessities like paper towels, toilet paper, etc.Some places barely give you enough supplies for half of your stay, but this unit is very generous. The fire place is awesome and the layout is great with the bedrooms and bath rooms. It is very close to all the action in Snowmass and is a great place to stay.

Excellent condo!

Well equipped kitchen for cooking for a group, with spices and other essentials in cabinet for using! Comfortable beds, and everything you could need in this well appointed condo. Would recommend to anyone.great location!

The condo was steps from the Snowmass mall. Ideal location. Very clean condo, nice looking decor. The manager was very helpful contacting us and allowing us to ship our luggage to the condo. It was a pleasure to stay at the condo.

Wonderful Location

This is a great location at Snowmass, convenient to both the slopes and Snowmass mall. The condo is clean, well stocked and equipped, and in excellent condition. Communication with the property manager was easy and she always responded quickly. Our group of seven men was very comfortable.

Spring break ski

Very well stocked condo with great location. Accurate description. The coffee maker broke and we had a new one delivered immediately. Needs some updating but overall great for a family stay over spring break.

Great Location

Deb was wonderful to work with for our family vacation. It's tough to find a condo with 5 bedrooms in a great location to accommodate our family of 9. This unit fits the bill. It's a bit dated and could use some upgrades, but it worked great for our family. Thanks Deb!

Perfect!

Fabulous, comfortable accommodations right on the slopes. Beds were great, kitchen was well stocked, we had everything we needed. Property manager Deb was especially helpful... responded to all our questions and even put the lights on in the unit when our plans changed and we arrived after dark. Plenty of seating for everyone to be together in the den & kitchen. Lots of hooks & cubbies near the door for coats & ski stuff. So convenient to the shopping & restaurant area and the ski lift & gondola. Our multi-generational family had a fantastic time. Would definitely stay here again. 5 stars.

Spring Break Wonderland!

We booked this 5 bedroom for our family. Deb is a pleasure to work with and the unit qualifies as ski in/ski out. The kitchen is well stocked, the pool is steps from the unit and they do a nice job of removing snow on the walking path and where the vehicles park. It is a short walk down to the upper village. We would definitely book again! Thanks for having us Deb! Stu

Return visit to a great ski condo

This was our second stay at Sonnenblick 1, and we will be back! The condo is conveniently located only a few steps from the slopes. It's well-outfitted and supplied with all the necessities. Our family of 6 was very comfortable and enjoyed the easy access to Snowmass Village and skiing, the hot tub, cooking meals in the large kitchen, and hanging out in the comfortable living room. The mattresses, carpeting, and paint were recently updated. Deb responded quickly every time I had a question and even moved our car for us one day when we had a problem with our parking spot. It's a ski condo - not super luxurious, but cozy. Bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors, so there are a fair number of stairs for some. We look forward to our next stay!

Spring Break Family Ski Trip

Overall our experience was positive staying at this property. Deb was very responsive and helped us get groceries delivered and all setup when we arrived. Also, she allowed us to have a later checkout because of our return flight being delayed. The condo is a bit dated and it is three levels with lots of stairs which I don’t think the pictures our description really showed that well. Location was great only about two blocks from the Snowmass Mall. Description is right it is not exactly ski in ski out as there is about a 100 yrd walk to the slopes. Hot tub access was great. Beds were comfortable, linens were clean. Plenty of kitchen utensils for cooking, the dryer took multiple times to get clothes dry especially towels so maybe could use a new washer and dryer set. Overall, our family had a great trip.

Unit Made a Great Place for All to Gather

We had a smooth process finding and booking. this unit through VRBO and a helpful property management company. For a family of ten spanning three generations, splitting off into five upstairs bedrooms offered a degree of privacy whenever sought. The ground floor arrangement offered a comfortable gathering place for all of us. It was especially nice for us to sit down and have our meals together. The furnishings were adequate and the kitchen was well-equipped. In summary the unit formed a pleasant basis for our spring break vacation.

Great stay in Snowmass!

We were two families traveling together with young children. The condo was perfect with 5 bedrooms, and two rooms with single beds for everyone to have space. For very young children, a stroller was challenging to get down the steps to the Mall and Skittles lift. If everyone is Ski-in / Ski-out, it’s perfect! And only a couple minutes walk to the free bus to Aspen from the Mall.

Family Ski Trip

The property was a bit more dated than I was expecting from the pictures, but otherwise was spectacular for our needs. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 kids and the condo was offered more than adequate space for all of us with comfortable bedrooms and several bathrooms. The ski slope was a very short walk from the unit and proximity to the base made ski school drop offs a breeze. We cooked most meals at home and the kitchen was very well equipped (owners kindly shared their spices, etc). There is a year round outdoor swimming pool and hot tub which was also a very short walk from the unit and made our après-ski time extra enjoyable and relaxing. We would definitely stay there again!

Good times at Snowmass

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. The condo was super easy to ski out from and back to with a very short walk to the ski run. The mall is conveniently located down a few flights from the home. It is a bit of a hike back up, not far though. The unit has three levels, and put the most fit on the third floor, lol.. The kitchen was well equipped and we prepared some fabulous meals. The hot tub is a short walk away and was super relaxing after a day on the slopes. I would suggest updating the carpeting as the other furnishes were lovely. It was a great location and I would stay there again! Did I forget to mention the owners were super easy and responsive to work with.

Family Room

This property is roomy with plenty of beds & baths. But, know it’s on 3 levels so lots of stairs. The location is great! It’s steps to Snowmass Mall with lots of fun stuff and the short gondola (Skittles) to go to base village. Ski in and out from end of the road. It’s dated and has some maintenance issues but, overall, it was good!

Lots of room, great location

We had a great stay in this spacious condo. It was clean and well appointed and the beds were comfortable. The property manager was very responsive and easy to work with. Great location - very close to the mall and the bus line! Only reason I give it a 4 instead of 5 is the condo is slightly dated and the pool was cloudy (hottub was great though). Would definitely rent this unit again.
