Ocean Village Club D23 is the perfect place to stay while you enjoy the magic and charm of St. Augustine and the surrounding area. Ideal for smaller families or friends traveling together, this affordable beach condo has two bedrooms, a full bath, and sleeps five altogether. Everything we needed

Small but efficient space. Nicely decorated. I suspect there have been smokers there in the past because there was a slight cigarette smoke odor. Conveniently located and the heated pool and private beach access was a plus.

We stayed in a great condo that was clean and had all out needs. The location was a little hike to beach though. Nothing they can do about that. Would stay again.

So nice

The condo was so nice and even had a little view of the ocean. The pool was amazing and really warm! We very much enjoyed our time there and would go back again. Thank you!!!

So so but fine for last minute booking,

Booking was extensive. You go on VBRO as a one stop shop but this place once I confirmed they make you go to a portal and do additional paperwork for a company called VTRIPS. This place was a last minute booking so I didn't have a choice at that point. Would not go through that whole process again. Also be prepared to pick your keys up at Vtrips location and then you much return them. II found that to be inconvenient. Too many extra steps. Pro: Good for last minute. Fine for young family. Bed slept fine. Nice touch is washer and dryer. Nice touch second toilet. Decently clean if you don't look at baseboards. For this price don't expect extra perks. This does not feel at all like a privately owned condo. Felt more like you are dealing with a big company when you call to ask a question. It feels very corporate hotel like. Im pretty sure this entire condo is full of Vtrip rentals. Overall again fine. Cute decorated. CONS: The sofa needs cleaned badly. It has dog hair as well as human hair all over. . Main bedroom is a double bed. But it worked for us. We are both pretty small. The tv's are totally outdated. The main TV in the living room is a sharp TV with a terrible screen. The bedroom tv sits sideways on the dresser so you try to watch it from a side angle. Not a big deal as we were tired each day but all TV's are old. TV's are pretty cheap so they need to spend the extra bucks and upgrade. Booking in my opinion was a bit much. You must go on Vtrips web portal and do additional paperwork and rental agreements. The extra steps makes things complicated.

The condo was nice and close to the beach! Only bad thing was our first day they had people.worming on the condo above us, got woken up at 730. After that day it was quite and enjoyable.

Cozy Get-Away

Nice beach themed decor! Very clean with all the necessities for our stay. When we arrived the curtain in the master bedroom to the sliding glass door was on the floor. Apparently the rod gave way from the anchor screws in the wall. We informed the rental office but no one came to redrill the holes and hang the curtains during our stay. We hung up a sheet. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the beach, and the community very much! We would book again!!!

Enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location, amenities and how the unit was updated. Overall, we really enjoyed everything but there were a few minor issues. The AT&T U-Verse was not the most reliable. The TV and Internet would go out 3-6 times a day. Another issue was the floor in the unit was not clean upon arrival. This may have been an oversight as the rest of the condo was clean. We swept the floor after noticing sand and hair in the floor when we first entered the unit. Lastly, the ceiling fan in the master made a constant clicking noise when on high. It was a bit too much when trying to sleep. Like I previously stated, these were minor issues to an overall enjoyable experience.

Loved our first trip to St. Augustine!

This condo was is a great location, close to the beach and restaurants. The condo was nicely decorated and comfortable for our family of 5. We would definitely recommend!

Condo was well equipped and clean. My family of 4 enjoyed the pool and beach access!

Check in was easy, although the key location is offsite at a separate location. The property was well managed and in a good location with a lot of stores and restaurants nearby. The condo was modern, clean and well stocked with supplies and linens. My family of four enjoyed the heated pool and beach access on the property. Overall we had a lovely stay with no issues! Highly recommend!

Very nice and well maintain

This property is very nice and well maintained. Great place for a family; extremely clean. The access to the beach was a little further than we would have liked but not a big deal.

Nice Place

This was a cute little place with easy access to the beach and two pools on site were nice. Amenities in the unit were average but adequate and it had nice beachy charm and well priced.

April 2019 stay

The only objection we had was paying the huge cleaning fee and finding that the floor was not clean. We had to wet mop the floors. The tile on the floor did hide the dirt so even though it looked nice, it was a long way from being clean. UGH! Cleaning crew, try better the next time.

Owners have done a very nice job of redecorating an older unit. Poor water pressure, main screen broken on slider in LR, mattress in master noisy and old. Beach was much too far of a walk from D building for our taste. Their management company Vtrips leaves much to be desired, we arrived to a broken and seen better days washer/dryer unit which was never repaired during our entire two week stay and no laundry facility on site. I approached the management company twice via email for compensation and heard nothing back. This management company also locked us out once as the combination is remotely set. I would seek out a new management company.

Highly recommend!!!

Love the condo. Love all the beach decor! We went for a long weekend to play baseball and had a great time. The condo was very clean and had everything in it you need. Kids loved the pools and beach! If we come back to St Augustine I will stay here again! Thanks for sharing your condo with us.

The condo was as expected

My only issue with the stay was the extremely late check in, then you have to check out early. I understand the reasoning behind it but I still don't like it because it makes the stay seem that much shorter and the late check in kills the first day of vacation. As far as the condo goes, it was very clean and everything was neat. Furniture was refreshingly up to date and the tv was newer. I do wish the master bedroom bed was bigger. I'm 6'3 and I ended up in the spare bedroom bed just so my wife could have room and she's 5'2. Im giving 4 stars only because of the late check in. Overall the condo was very nice.

Great Condo except for having no water

The Condo itself was great. Then on Mother's Day a pipe burst and the condo association did nothing to restore it before Monday. Permanent residents stated that this happens so they keep a bucket in their condos to pull water out of the swimming pool to use for the bathrooms or they have nothing. We had to go to Publix to buy water in order to use the bathrooms and cook food. It didn't make for a great Mother's Day for our family. In all we rented four units in the complex and only one had any running water for over 24 hours. Our group ranged in age from 93 to 2 months and the response by the association was unacceptable.

Great resort very pet friently

The resort was wonderful and very pet-friendly. You do have to go to the clubhouse and pay $10 for a dog permit for the resort. 2 pools, the heated one is closest to this unit, shuffleboard and tennis courts. The beach is great but the walk from this unit may be far for some it wasn't for us. The unit is absolutely adorable in its decor. The kitchen is very small but also very practical. It has a refrigerator I wanted to take home it is large and has an ice maker which is a plus. The unit is super pet-friendly as is the entire town of St. Augustine. Almost all stores and restaurants allow dogs which were a pleasant surprise. The only issue we had was the beds. The mattresses have seen better days and need replacing. The bunk beds are not very stable either we have a 13 yr old and the bed swayed when he got on the top and we felt it best he not use them. Having 2 tv's was nice and the bath and a half with a washer/dryer was great. We would rent this unit again IF they change out the mattresses. The other permanent residents of this building were friendly and wonderful at recommending places to see or NOT see and eat.

Up to date appliances with a calm, beachy feel.

We stayed at Ocean Village Club on Memorial weekend (building C12) and had such a bad experience with the room we didn't think we'd return. We decided to give it another chance with building D23 and are glad we did. The room had up to date appliances and the overall appearance of the room has a calm, beachy feel. It's about a 10 minute walk to the beach, but who doesn't need a little walk on vacation? I would definitely recommend this unit and hope to return next year.
