We were looking for a place to stay in Rouen which was both comfortable, in a convenient location and with easy access to parking as we had a hire car to visit nearby places. The chalet was just perfect.
The owner Christine was prompt in communications and very accommodating as far as check in and check out times.
The chalet is very spacious, light and airy with a good supply of cooking utensils and very good quality crockery, cutlery and glasses which is something we appreciated after travelling for two months.
We particularly loved the deck which we were able to use as the weather was fine for our stay.
Previous reviews have commented on the size of the shower and it would be a tight fit for taller and larger people, but we are neither so no problems and there was an excellent supply of hot water.
The neighbourhood is delightful - quiet, safe and with lots of parking in the church grounds opposite as well as on nearby streets. The church did ring it's bells but not after ten at night or before nine in the morning. The centre of town was an easy 10-15 minute walk which was an added bonus.
Wi fi was also excellent.
We would have no hesitation in recommending the property to any friends contemplating a stay in Rouen which is a charming town with many nearby places of interest and beauty.
