River Frontage Cottage is located on 115 Acres

This private cabin is located on 115 acres of riverfront property and is set off about 100' from the main house. It is furnished with one double bed, a set of bunk beds, a crib and two queen beds, a day bed, television, CD player/Stereo and chair. The smaller bedroom contains the twin-size bunkbeds and there is a double bed and twin size day bed in the second bedroom. This second bedroom also acts as the common room with TV and stereo in this room. The Master bedroom has 2 queen size beds with an adjoining full Bathroom. The other Bathroom has a spacious tiled shower with built in bench. Internet is also available.

The cabin has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, and all untensils and appliances. The den/bedroom has the tv along with a DVD player, stereo and crib.There is also a small 16' pool that is filled for summer months to cool off in.

You have access to the San Antonio River, which is great for camping, hiking, or fishing. This is a site of some old Indian battles and arrowheads and other artifacts can still be found. Also has a dirt bike trail over two miles long which is fun for motorcycles, mountain bikes, and quads. There is a large 10 foot by 20 foot attached covered deck with room to stretch out and enjoy the breeze and great country view. Kids love to camp out on this great deck. There is also a cement patio with a table and chairs in front of the cottage and a smoker that can be used to barbecue. Mesquite wood always available for use.
Although located in the country, you are only about 15-20 minutes away from Downtown (River Walk, The Alamo, SBC Center, Alamodome and more). You are 30 minutes away from Sea World or Fiesta Texas.Lackland AFB is conveniently located about 20 minutes away for those of you attending Air Force basic training graduations. There are many golf courses in the area, one is only ten minutes away!

We are pet friendly. We charge $30 PER pet per stay.

The cabin was very clean, inviting, and comfortable. The property was quiet and beautiful. My family had a great time, from walking down to the river and taking in the serenity, to barbecuing, taking an evening dip in the pool, and playing games with friends, it just made of an incredible experience away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We canā€™t help but to thank Jack for his hospitality and his wonderful property that you can tell he takes great pride in and would greatly recommend to anyone looking for that quiet place you could get away to!

The cabin was tucked away and felt really safe. Accommodations were fit for large families and the owner was very friendly. There was a pool outside and the inside was very clean. There were appliances ready for use and a nice back porch. I'd be happy living there.

Awesome place

We had an amazing time! Nice house with everything that you could possibly need. Very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed swimming in the river, looking for artifacts and jumping in the pool. Owners are very nice and quick to respond. We will definitely be staying here again!!

Short & sweet stay

- communication with our host before and during our stay was prompt and gracious - although dated, the house was extremely clean and was equipped with absolutely everything we needed- it rained throughout our stay but the covered porch allowed us a little outdoor time - very pretty property and dog-friendly, which was a priority for us. We did not get to enjoy all the area had to offer but would def recommend this place for anyone with kids or dogs, looking for a lil country getaway.

Amazing property!

Beautiful property, comfortable cabin. Kitchen was well equipped complete with washer and dryer. Everything was clean and well kept and the owner was responsive and friendly. We wanted for nothing while we were there. Will definitely be staying there again!

Country Getaway

This place is a great home to enjoy peace and quiet. Itā€™s a lovely piece of property and the owner is very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. There is lots to explore on the property and the house can sleep a good number of people. Iā€™ll definitely go back for some R & R!

My children loved this place better than hotel's we've stayed at. They loved the pool and actually got to enjoy it, vs hotels. There was plenty of room to roam and go on hikes. I loved the softness of the sheets and the dishes!! There was plenty of sleeping room for everyone! We would have been cramped in a hotel room!!

Wonderful family getaway

Our family of 6 stayed in Jackā€™s property for 4 nights in July. We had an amazing time. The home was comfortable and well stocked, there were plenty of things to do on the property, and the distance to downtown San Antonio was so convenient. We loved the river and being able to jump in the pool. Jack was so sweet and welcoming and was available for anything we might need. We will absolutely be coming back!
