Apartment situated just outside entrance to 2 beaches and 5 minutes walk to 3 restaurants. Two bedrooms fully air conditioned with queen and king beds and a spacious bathroom. Free wifi. TV and a Kitchen fully equipted with micro wave, stove, toaster, fridge, coffee maker and electric kettle. The kitchen is well laid out with clean white painted cupboards fully stocked with amenities eg. cuttlery,plates and plenty glass ware . Laundry has a washing machine , ironing board, cupboards and the option of inside or outside clothes line. Living/dining room is also spacious with upholstered suite and a 4 seater dining table additional chairs are also there. The view from the patio overlooks the hilly countryside and directly in front is a picture view of the ocean. Walk along the cliffs passing the grassy pastures or just sit and enjoy the ocean breeze.
Located on the bus route that takes you to four towns, with connections to all the other attractions on the island

Quiet, clean and peaceful stay

I enjoyed our stay at this property. I normally would stay with family when I visit, but I really wanted to have a bit more of quiet this trip, and this property did not disappoint! Just a short walk from the beach, and a few great eating spots within walking distance- you can't lose! I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed for 5 days and the place exceeded my expectations. Everything was as described and was less than 5 mins away from the beach and Crane Hotel. Highly recommend and will stay there again next visit.

Spacious Apartment

Good sized apartment, & well equipped. It's an easy 5 minute walk to Crane Beach. There are a few decent local restaurants, including Delons which is about 10 minutes walk. Buses run about every 30 minutes towards Bridgetown, so a car is absolutely necessary. More difficult to get up the west coast. The only negative is that there is some noise from the main road, but it didn't bother us too much. Great communication with Michael & Laura.

First time in Barbados

Excellent hosts, helpful, friendly and attentive to anything that came up. We spent 3 weeks at Cranemist. Well appointed apartment in good repair. Very near a lovely beach (200m at most). Felt very safe and at home. Really enjoyed being out of the city but still had good access. Good local restaurants in immediate vicinity. We will return to Barbados and this property in particular. Best island vacation ever, and at 60 we have been to a few!

Great deal, fantastic hosts!

We really enjoyed staying in this apartment. Michael and Andria are incredibly kind and did everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as they could! We were very pleased with our accommodations, and had a lovely time seeing the area. Sam Lord's castle was very interesting to behold, and the country side around the area is quite lovely. The people are so friendly and we felt safe walking to the local restaurants at night. Highly recommend Marco Polo down the road, honest food at really great prices, the coconut shrimp are fantastic! We really love Narbados and hope to return soon! Definitely would recommend this apartment for a reasonably priced holiday in the sun!

Very nice

Nice and clean property. Whenever we had a request Michael was there to help us. Very prompt in responding. A little noisy because of the road but you get used to it soon. Andria was also helpful with the aeroport pick up and drop off. We would return for sure! Thank you both!

Lovely Flat, Aircon faulty in one room

Both Michael and Angels were amazing hosts, helped us get groceries on our first day and gave us really useful information about getting around on the buses. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, it's beautiful but you must be aware when swimming as the waves are massive. You are a short drive / bus to Malibu beach which is beautiful and you can swim there!! The only niggle is he Aircon didn't work in my room, it only worked as a fan. I moved a stand alone fan into my room for my stay and this worked for me. But it might be worth looking into prior to the next booking. Other than that it was a wonderfully situated flat, super clean, responsive and helpful hosts. Would recommend!

Fabulous stay!

Crane Apartments were absolutely ideal for the month I stayed on beautiful Barbados. It was 5 star clean, 5 star service from Michael and Andrea, owners. They are simply amazing! We had a couple small issues, whichthey had attended to same day!! Just an over WONDERFUL expeience. Crane is on quieter coast. I rented a car for the month to travel all around the island, so the apartment was excellent base to do this. I also felt, as did my numerous guests that visited during the month. The flat is very spacious, with lots of opportunity for cooking, if you like to do so on holiday! I like to eat out,but theete is impressive array of pots n pans, etc. Large fridge to house the bottles of duty free gin. A brilliant utility room off the kitchen with inside drying line and outside line too.The apartment is great and I would highly recommend it. 10 out of 10!

Great stay! Wonderful hosts!

Our first trip to Barbados was enjoyable! The rental accomodation was clean and exactly as described in the listing. Michael and Andria are lovely hosts. Very thoughtful and kind! The location is perfect for travelers who want something away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists and city. The area is quiet and serene. The beaches are just across the street. The 5 minute walk to the beach is lovely. The beaches were too rough for swimming but we had some memorial adventures exploring the beaches and caves (walking). We ended up renting a car to get around - I recommend renting a car in advance to see the island. It was hard to find an available car last minute. Once we had the car we were able to reach beaches, towns, restaurants in minutes. The apartment has air conditioning in the bedrooms only. The cross breeze cooled the apartment down somewhat but it did get quite hot on a couple of days. We enjoy the heat but it might not be for everyone. The wifi was perfectly reliable - we had to work during the first few days of our visit. We were able to work, attend all virtual meetings with no problem whatsoever. We recommend this rental! We will be back!

Excellent apartment. Well appointed.

My brother-in-law and I stayed at the Crane Beach Apartments for a wedding at The Crane. Michael was kind enough to pick us up at the airport and have a bottle of rum waiting for us upon arrival at the apartment. While showing us the place we were so impressed with all that was available that I jokingly asked if there was a barbecue - and there was. There is nothing you would need that Michael and Andrea has not thought of. Just buy your groceries and that's all you need to do. Andrea was even kind enough to drive us into town one day to get groceries. The apartment itself was spacious, air flow was great, it was safe - nothing to worry about. There a TV for your entertainment and they even provide a cell phone for you to use while staying there. The beach is a short walk from the apartment and there are 2 restaurants within walking distance as well. If you are so inclined, you can even eat at The Crane. Please make sure to say good morning or good evening as people will greet you on your walks. At the time we was there, there were no mosquitos so I was able to sleep with the windows open and the breeze blowing on me. Nothing like it. There are air conditioners in the unit if you need them. The only downside to sleeping with the windows open is that you get woken up early by the traffic in the morning. Thank you Michael and Andrea for a great stay in our holiday home.

Good accommodation but the Crane beach is unusable.

This establishment was our lodging during our trip to Barbados. The people of Barbados are generally friendly and helpful, and this made our trip pleasant. The one bad factor was that Crane Beach has turned into a dump. Disgusting pink seaweed is everywhere, both in the water and on the beach. The public access to the beach is made of a crumbling road which leads to stepping stones. Some of these stepping stones are covered in seaweed, and the beach is simply unusable. After some negotiations, we reached an agreement in which the co-owner (Michael) would drive us to the beach on the other side of the island every day. This essentially saved our vacation. It's a shame that Crane Beach is unusable because it seems like it used to be a paradise. As for the lodging itself, it was clean, well worth its price, and overall good. One minor complaint is that there was air conditioning only in one of the bedrooms, and not the other, and the living room. However, we mostly just opened the windows and often that was good enough. All the facilities worked well, and the owners even left some rum, bread, and other minor foods for us in the fridge. Food in Barbados is generally very expensive; a decent buffet lunch will cost you about $40 per person (and dinner $75-90). However, the rum being only $10 for 1 liter (!) of this nice drink makes up for this. We would recommend this place and apartment to others.

This place was Perfect!! Loved everything about it. The host Michael and Andrea are wonderful folks, They are most helpful , they’ll show you where to go and how to get there. The place also has beach chairs and towels. My stay was with my almost two year old and they was very accommodating and considerate towards me traveling with a child. This place is walking distance to the ocean with folks surfing on boards and swimming , not full of kites which is nice however the steps to get there are quite dangerous, just be careful. The home itself is peaceful and you hear ocean waves as you wake and sleep it’s invigorating to say for sure. There’s monkeys running down the road and thru the yard ,what an experience. (They wasn’t harmful by any means) I recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice Peaceful stay away from the bustle of the city.

L'appartement est identique à la description.Grand et propre. Extended remote-work stay in paradise

My friend and I were looking for the perfect place to stay to escape winter and work remotely for a few months, and found this gem. Michael was incredibly flexible and welcoming; he ensured we had tables to use as desks, confirmed the wifi speeds (they are incredibly fast!) and responded to our questions promptly. While we were under curfew for much of our stay, the quick walk to the beach, the fun waves, and the beautiful views in the surrounding area was perfect--and the nearby baker at Pekish made it all that much more wonderful. Cutters and smoothies were also within walking distance and so delicious. We took buses into Oistins and Bridgetown and they were easy to get the hang of, and everyone was so friendly. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay!

We enjoy walking along the cliffs and taking pleasant drives around the countryside.
