Welcome to "Sandy Breaks"

We are a family run business in the heart of the beautiful village of Woolacombe, North Devon. "Sandy Breaks" is a quality self contained one bedroom holiday apartment. We offer accommodation for 2 people but will consider accommidating a small family with a baby or toddler. The apartment is situated in a quiet but central position just 2 minute walk to the village centre and a few minutes walk to the beach. It is also ideally situated for walks on the South West Coast Path, over Exmoor or just exploring the glorious countryside.

Great base to explore a lovely part of the world

Fantastic property in great location.

I've stayed in Woolacombe many times in many different places, and this is now one of my favourites. Great property with parking, clean, and in walking distance of everything in Woolacombe yet in a quite location. Simon was very welcoming and there if you need anything. Me and my partner would definitely stay here again, thank you for a lovely week!

Excellent apartment

Si and Wendy's apartment is one of the best and perhaps the best we have stayed in and we have stayed in many. Very nice hosts and a clean and well appointed apartment in a good quiet location whilst being at the centre of everything. Absolutely no negatives and we hope to return.

Woolacombe Return

I have been coming to Woolacombe for 26 years now, always with my late wife, first time on my own, the hosts where very welcombing and helpful. The property was very clean and in a great spot for the village. Highly reccomend it . Had a great holiday.

Great stay

Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The property was exceptional, exactly as described, nice and clean, and comfortable. Great location for visiting the local area and very close to the beach! Would highly recommend staying here.

Excellently positioned Woolacombe property

We loved everything about this property. Position near beach, all amenities, comfortable, spacious. The property was spotlessly clean. I loved the bathroom ( bath AND shower) Only the weather let us down !!

Definitely recommend

Beautifully presented property with everything we needed for a self catering week's stay. Excellent location. Very conveniently situated in a quiet location with a short level walk to beach and shops. Plenty of places to eat out if needed. Our hosts contributed to the pleasant atmosphere right through from their welcome on arrival to our departure. Thank you Simon and Wendy for an excellent week.

Fantastic stay and fell in love with Woolacombe

Great contact with Simon the owner, was really helpful. The property is perfect for two with everything you need. Can walk to shops/pubs and beach not too far too walk to. Would recommend checking out the cinema at The Bay Hotel - so cute seating only 30. Thank you for fantastic stay - we are already looking at dates for our next trip and stay at this delightful let ❤️

Lovely stay in a lovely place

We had a great stay at Sandy Breaks. Simon gave us lots of advice and is very friendly. The accommodation is clean, modern and fully equipped, comfy bed, great shower and no problems. Access to the garden space is useful for sitting out and drying a wet suit. Very convenient location, in the heart of Woolacombe but also very quiet and private. Easy to walk to the beach and pop back when required. We had two fantastic weeks exploring North Devon.

Hidden Gem of a place to stay

Our over all experience when staying at this accommodation was an amazing. We where met with a warm welcome and shown around the facilities. There was nothing missing in my opinion to make this stay a happy place to be. We have already booked for next year,,only cause we could not get a week later this year

Excellent Accommodation

The hosts of this property were amazing and very helpful. I arrived late in the evening and were very accommodating. Would highly recommend and will stay there again!
