This house combines both the "Cottage" and "Penthouse" suites. Ground floor and second floor, these apartments have identical floor plans.

This fully renovated beautiful, classic Charleston Single just two blocks from the popular Upper King Street restaurant district has everything you need for the perfect retreat. This lovely home is a combination of listings 610215 and 632958, which features four generous bedrooms: two Master Suites with plush King Beds and luxury linens and two generous Guest Bedrooms with queen beds and luxury linens. The Master Bedrooms have a flat screen TV with Direct TV. There are four full bathrooms which have been completely updated and have fine towels and complimentary toiletries. The Living Room and family room each feature a queen pullout sofa to accommodate additional guests and a flat screen with Direct TV. The newly renovated full kitchen on each floor has every amenity needed to prepare meals and entertain guests with serving dishes, glasses and utensils for 6. The kitchens boast brand new stainless steel appliances including an oven, stove, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, fridge and bar area. The living room and family room both have a flat screen TV with Direct TV and gracious floor plan perfect for cocktails with friends. There is a classic Charleston porch on both floors which are a nice breezy place perfect for relaxing after a long day of shopping and sight seeing. There are three off street parking spaces reserved for guests conveniently located just outside the door. Our property is located in the popular Cannonborough/Elliotborough neighborhood which has undergone a transformation and is now home to the city's best bakeries, bars, restaurants and yoga studios. We are just two blocks from the dynamic Upper King Street restaurant district and the award winning chefs written about in Travel & Leisure and the New York Times. There is Direct TV on both flat screen TVs and WiFi throughout providing you all the comforts you need to relax and enjoy our home and your vacation.

What a great spot!!

We (6 adults) were in Charleston for a wedding & Andrew's place was perfect! We rented the penthouse & the apartment below it - 2 beds/baths up and 2 beds/baths down. The place was well-appointed, very clean & safe - only two blocks from King St. Andrew was VERY nice & friendly! We would definitely stay here again.

Andrew went above and beyond to provide the best stay for my bachlorette crew! I cannot thank him enough for accommodating us so kindly! The location is great for walking to and from popular spots in the city. The house is very clean and has everything you would need to stay!

Every girl that came to stay at this house with me had nothing but GREAT things to say!

Took a trip with 12 other girls for my bachelorette party. The house was exactly how it looks in pictures and more. Everything... down to the towels are nice and good quality. We all had nothing but awesome things to say about Andrew the owner. He responded right away to anything we had questions about or needed. The location is PERFECT! If your looking for a house in Charleston STAY here!!

2 Apartments not a 4 bedroom home

We were not thrilled with our accommodations. As a family of 6 hoping to be renting a 4 bedroom "home" in Charleston with a large porch on the second floor with furniture to hang outside it was not what we expected. The finishes in the apartments, which these are two totally separate apartments, are nice and it is well decorated. There is a considerable amount of street noise... all night long. Two fire stations within 3 blocks. We are not sure if there was any insulation in the walls. We would not rent this property again. Great for a spring breakers or people celebrating all night. Easy walking to the happening areas of King Street.

It is clear in the description of the listing that 610016 is one structure comprised of two apartments (up and down). The location is in the heart of Charleston's restaurant/retail district, which offers countless entertainment options within 2 blocks. Industrial grade soundproofing was added in the renovation (6 months ago) but will not block the noise of fire engines. This is a 5-Star quality experience within eyesight of King Street, one of the most famous streets in one of the most desired cities in the world. 587777 and 667915 are next door.

Charming House

We rented this property for 11 girls for a Bachelorette Party. Only 8 girls were able to make it due to weather, but if we would have had all 11 it would have been a tight fit. This property has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, however, it is set up like two apartments on separate floors. You have to walk outside (uncovered) to get to the other set of rooms. This would have been fine, but it was pouring down rain the entire weekend we were there. That being said, the remodel of the apartments are nice. The kitchen is quite small, but we really didn't use that too much. If you are wanting to prepare food there and eat, keep in mind, there is only bar height seating for two. There is not a dining table to sit at. The bedrooms were quite spacious. One having a kind size bed and the other having a queen size bed (same set up in the other apartment). In the lower apartment, there was only one mirror in the whole place (bathroom). We had to dig to find another mirror (there was a floor length mirror stashed in one of the closets). I would suggest putting more mirrors in both apartments. In terms of location, this property was great. Close to King Street and a short cab/uber ride to anywhere else. Andrew, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating. The house was clean upon arrival. All in all, I would stay here again.

Clean Unique Listing with Quirks

When I booked this listing which entailed an upstairs & downstairs unit I was told that they were mirror images of each other. Photos show this. Problem is that renovations have been done & there are now twins in 1 room & queen in the “mirror” room. The property manager met us at the homes & walked us thru showing the changes that had been done. But the TVs had been blown from a storm earlier that week & were not fixed. He got 2 of the 4 TVs working that night but never did get the TVs in the bedrooms working. This was a big deal to my 92 year old father-in-law who wanted to watch tv while we had family time. Finally, the updates added a full bath to the master bedrooms. It is a Euro bath for lack of a better term. You can not use the toilet without rubbing the wall beside it. Nice to have a full bath off the master but way to tight of a space to get ready in. Overall the houses were clean & the beds were crazy comfortable.

Perfect Launch Pad for Charleston

The "compound" was the perfect place for our family stay in Charleston (we rented two units for a total of four bedrooms). Two blocks from North King Street, this apartment is an easy walk from all the popular restaurants, shops, and bars. Bright, super clean, spacious, with luxury bedding and plenty of towels! Andrew even provided fresh flowers. A word to light sleepers -- this is in an urban setting so street noise is inherent. We just ran a fan at night for "white noise." Traveler's tip: Charleston has tons of highly acclaimed restaurants (FIG, SNOB, etc.) but we also enjoyed the low key atmosphere and less pricey offerings at The Rarebit, Basil Thai, and Juanita Greenbergs -- all on King Street. Prohibition Bar is a lot of fun, too, and a short walk from the apartment.

Historic Accommodations with Modern Flair

Great location three blocks from restaurants, bars and shopping on King Street. Immaculate accommodations with clean modern interiors. We travel to Charleston often and would highly recommend this property. Parking can be a problem in the downtown area. The site also has ample parking directly in front of the rooms which makes luggage transport very easy.

Beautiful property, great location!

My group and I had a great experience renting this property. We were in town for a quick weekend getaway, since many of us arrived early Friday and left Sunday evening, Andrew was very accommodating in allowing us to get in early and leave late so we wouldn't have to carry our luggage. The property was beautiful and exactly as the pictures showed. The location is 2 blocks from king street, walking distance to several bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Charleston! Thanks for the great stay!!

Great place, location perfect

This place was perfect - very clean! Updated and well done decor, appliances, etc. The beds were very comfortable. It was nice to have everything provided for our short stay(towels, shampoo/conditioner, soap). The access in and checkout was super easy. The location was also perfect, could have walked to most any attraction although we drove mostly. But having its own parking provided made that easy as well. Andrew, the manager provided all the information needed

beautiful home close to king street

Andrew was a wonderful host - quick to respond and very accommodating. We rented the penthouse and the unit below it for 11 girls. We fit very comfortably as each level has 2 bedrooms and a pull out couch. The living space was large enough for all of us to hang out, eat dinner, have some drinks, etc. Very close to King Street. We were able to walk to the Central Market in about 20 minutes. Would definitely stay here again!
