Step off the deck right onto hole three of the Golf Course. Or snowmobile right from the cabin to Jefferson, Sawtelle, and Two Tops. DogLeg Lodge is located right at Island Park Village Golf Course in the heart of Island Park.

This three level, 2500 square foot cabin offers a lot of space to stretch out and relax. Sleeping accommodations include one master suite, two additional bedrooms with attached bathrooms, huge open loft, and large living room, downstairs area. Bathrooms on all three levels and two on the main level. Note: the basement bedroom and.5 bath is only available for groups of 17 or more.

This elegant cabin offers all the amenities and comfort for a weekend with friends or family or extended stay. Fully stocked and functional kitchen and large dining area. The large wrap-around deck offers a place to relax and barbeque some juicy steaks for dinner. A nearby clubhouse offers golf, exercise room, ping pong, racquetball, tennis, bike rentals, and ski rentals.

The paved driveway is large enough to park a large RV or snow machine trailer.

Quiet, comfortable, easy to find and just a short distance to restaurants. Perfect for our visit, our group ended up being only 6, so plenty of room and privacy. Space and beds for alot more.

It was perfect for our group of 12 adults with plenty of parking. Bunk beds have foam mats not great for adults though okay for youth. The house had all the kitchen utensils and pots and pans needed. Owner was great to work with.

There were very few pictures of the bedrooms and configurations of the beds. It would have been helpful to know where the beds were. In addition, they were not accurately described. There were no single beds as indicated. A map of the rooms and beds would have been helpful since we had 5 families staying in this house and it was pretty chaotic upon arrival trying to figure out where everyone would sleep. In addition, it would have been nice to know where the bathrooms were. Ultimately, it all worked out. I suggest you take more pictures and upload them with better descriptions.

Yellowstone getaway

This home is a great location if you want to spend time in the Yellowstone area. We went to the park 3 days, spent time in Island Park, floated the river in Island Park and explored the scenic areas.

Great stay for our large family gathering

The property was as promised. Had plenty of room for our group of 21, although the bunk beds in the basement room were broken and that caused some trouble. The area is nice and quiet. We played golf every morning before heading into Yellowstone. You are about a 20 minute drive to the park entrance, but it is not bad. We went in every day of our stay. All around a stay we were very happy with

Island park

The neighborhood was great but being on a golf course not very dog friendly. Spacious slept alot of people but the bathrooms and toilets were awful, cramped, small, not very functional toilets. Master bath had a toilet that when sitting on, ones behind would get wet. Exterior doors were in really bad shape and not really functional.

Dawn, thanks for the constructive criticism, we have indeed made the bathrooms the smaller areas of the cabin, so we can maximize the other room space and so we can get 4 bathrooms in for multiple guests. Two of the four bathrooms have brand new toilets and looks like I need to replace the other two, although I can say I have never experienced a wet bum in the toilet that I use the most in the master bath! Yes, we are in a golf course and they do NOT allow pets on the course, and the yard in the back is mostly deck and a small area adjacent to the golf course, so plenty of room for pets to do their business, but definitely not running room, leave that for the trails and forest! Thanks again for the feedback!

Good

It was good. We did not like that other people food was left so we had a hard time telling what our group brought and what was left by others. And we had to buy the trash bags and toilet paper. I just think that should be one of the things the house has. At the end of the stay we where told we had to strip the beds and put them in the basement by the washer. Did not think we should have had to do that. But the house was good

I am so sorry if you didn’t have enough TP and garbage bags. We do provide these and would have been glad to get you more if we had known you needed them. Also sorry that we left pizza and butter and bacon and condiments. Those are our staples that we keep in the freezer/fridge all the time. I did not know that would bother others that are using our cabin. Good feedback!

Yellowstone family vacation

Overall our stay was really nice. The only issue we had was the hot water running out & some of us had to shower with cold water. There’s 14 of us in the group.

Good to know about the hot water. We just put in a new hot water heater and it is huge, but even the biggest and best water heater has its limits. We don’t have a boiler like a hotel and on demand heaters don’t work at that altitude with the very cold temps that the water comes out of the ground. So heads up for the next groups to space your 14 showers out in the evening and morning.

Great place for our family getaway/gathering

Overall it was great time and the facility was perfect for our group. Beautiful location and the cabin, though nothing fancy, was nice and well equipped. It was great that we had room for everyone and we able to bring our little dogs. We had a real hiccup the last day with a waterline break in the driveway which caused some real inconvenience, but the owner kept us informed and offered some refund. Great place for our vacation, and we hope to return again.

Family gathering

Overall we had a wonderful experience. We were a party of 14 people ranging in ages from 4-84. The living/dining room area was a place of congregation for fun and games. There was adequate space to accommodate everyone . The only drawback was the poor WiFi access. None of us were able to access the WiFi in an efficient manner. We even took turns using it as the host explained that too many people at one time would cause it to not work optimally. We tried everything. This posed a problem with accessing Netflix and conducting other mundane tasks were WiFi is needed, ie messaging on Vrbo and trying to map out next destination. Don’t want to stress too much on it, but we would have preferred knowing this in advance. Other than the WiFi, the location was great. Thank you for hosting our family.

Great location in Island Park. Close enough to West Yellowstone without being in town.

Great communication with property owner. Only complaint is that the town had so many visitor for the holiday weekend, that there was no internet service. This was also a blessing though. :) Air conditioning would have been nice, but wasn't listed as an amenity. Location was great. Cabin had all that we needed to make meals, bbq, and hang out.
