Spacious cottage on the outskirts of Port Isaac with large garden and parking.

Singing Cottage is a charming place to stay in an extremely peaceful rural setting, yet just a short 7 minute walk into the centre of Port Isaac.
Immaculately presented and offering a high standard of accommodation throughout, Singing Cottage features a large spacious lounge with French doors opening up onto its south facing patio and large garden with furniture where you can enjoy eating alfresco or simply relax with a glass of wine. Inside, the lounge offers three comfortable sofas, a wood burning stove, and a large flat screen TV with DVD player. For the occasional rainy day there is also a WII with assorted games, books and a selection of board games. Free unlimited broadband WIFI is also available for guests to use along with a stereo.
Additionally there are lots of maps and guide books to help you plan your stay.
The main bedroom has sea glimpses and offers a king size bed and large fitted wardrobe. The second bedroom is extremely spacious with two single beds, with a large fitted wardrobe. There is also a desk/study area available. A travel cot is available which could easily be set up in either bedroom. The third bedroom, with a lovely rural outlook, has a set of bunk beds and freestanding wardrobe.
The property has a large kitchen diner offering ample seating for six and is fully equipped with a full size dishwasher, washer drier, fridge freezer, twin oven with induction hob, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine.
There is a family bathroom with a large heated towel rail and powerful shower over the bath.
For your convenience to help you enjoy your stay there are USB charging points around the property. In addition, beach chairs and beach umbrella are available.
Linen and towels are provided and the beds will be made up for your arrival.
One well behaved dog is welcome.
Please Note this property is only available to rent on a Sat to Sat basis.

Welcoming cottage home from home

Great location short walk from the coastal path. This is our 3rd stay and it never disappoints. A home from home with everything you need extremely clean and comfortable. A huge thank you to the hosts.

Family-friendly stay a short walk from Port Isaac

Great for a family holiday a short walk from Port Isaac and within 10 or 20 minutes’ drive of several great beaches. The accommodation was clean, spacious and the owner had clearly thought carefully about what visitors were likely to need during their stay. Would certainly recommend to others.

Singing Cottage: 10-11 August 2025

Singing Cottage is a beautifully located and equipped cottage. We had a fantastic stay and the cottage provided everything we needed to take advantage of the location and the beautiful food and drink in the surrounding area. We were able to divide our time between cooking in the fantastically stocked kitchen and eating out. Pilchards in Port Gaverne is highly recommended. Clive was a quick and helpful host.

Home from home

This is the second time that we have stayed at Singing Cottage and we loved it asuch as the first time. The house is beautifully presented and has everything you need, definitely a home from home. Good location for exploring nearby beaches, visiting Port Isaac but also lovely and peaceful.

Beautifully clean, comfortable and well equipped

We have stayed once before and we have chosen to stay again because of its exceptional quality. Everything is so clean, fresh and welcoming. All appliances work and are maintained to a high standard. It is well equipped everything provided for a comfortable enjoyable stay. The beds are comfortable, plenty of space in the wardrobes and throughout the cottage. It’s a great location for coastal walks and exploring Cornwall. Overall Exceptional

'Wonderful'

Singing Cottage is an outstanding property in the ideal location for exploring the North Cornwall Coast. Perfectly situated, the cottage provides 'a home away from home' and offers a high standard of comfort and amenity in close proximity to the South West Coastal Path. Picture perfect Port Isaac is only a short stroll away and other well known destinations can easily be reached by car in a relatively short time. Carolyn and Clive were superb hosts who went to great lengths to ensure everything ran smoothly during our stay. Thankyou.

Excellent cottage everything had been thought of right down to the cream tea and wine and milk in the fridge even a packet of shortbreads ! Beautiful surroundings and garden.

Port isaac stay

Such a lovely property, with everything you could possibly need. Extra nice touch of homemade scones and a bottle of fizz wad nice surprise. Great location to explore, was nice to not use the car.

Another brilliant stay

House in immaculate condition as always when we stay. Amazing location with quick access to so many beaches and a lovely stroll down to Port Isaac itself. Thanks for all the yummy cakes and treats!

Home from home in atemberaubender Lage über dem Küstenort Port Isaac

Wir waren sehr beeindruckt über die netten Kleinigkeiten zum Empfang im Ferienhaus Singing Cottage! Der Check-in hat aufgrund des Schlüsseltresorsystems gut geklappt und das Cottage ist super ausgestattet, sehr sauber und sehr liebevoll mit kleinen Dingen wie ein Beach House dekoriert. Viele Schlafmöglichkeiten und Sitzmöglichkeiten im Wohnzimmer und auf der schönen Terrasse, sowie super Ausstattung der Küche. Vielen lieben Dank für die schöne und sehr ruhige Zeit, die uns die Gastgeber Clive und Carolyn bereitet haben!

Fabulous property & location

The best cottage we have stayed in by a mile. Beautifully equipped and furnished with everything we needed… even down to the beach chairs in the cupboard, coffee, bbq and tools. The location is stunning, quiet and offers hill top views and wonderful sunsets. Will book again

Beautiful house with everything you need

Singing cottage is a beautifully presented house which is very well equipped with everything you will need. We had some lovely welcome supplies, including dog treats for our dog, the owners thought of everything. It is closely located to port Isaac, walkable down a steep hill. We definitely hope to visit again.

Clean spacious wonderful

Singing cottage was our best holiday home so far . It really felt like a home from home. We loved the peace and quiet in this wonderful countryside. Even our 3 teenagers enjoyed the stay with the beaches and coastpaths. Can be highly recommended!

Wonderful stay at Singimg Cottage

Our stay at Singing Cottage was awesome. It's beautifully appointed and looked after, in a stunning location just outside the exciting Port Isaac, with its great restaurants and quaint shops and streets, and overall we just really enjoyed it all. Excellent property

Excellent location just a 10 min walk outside pretty village of Port Isaac. High above the village with views over fields property has everything you could need. Space to park 2 cars is a bonus aswell.

A lovely and very homely cottage, A+++

This cottage has everything you would need and the attention to detail is first class. It really does feel like a home from home. Very clean and spacious with lots of little extras to keep you entertained in the evenings. The welcome treats were a very nice touch and much appreciated. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good base to explore the many delights of Cornwall.

Great holiday

We had a fantastic time at the property and had a great holiday, it was wonderful to sit out on the patio in the morning sun with your coffee and watch the cows in the field waiting for the farmer to come and give them breakfast and enjoying the birds singing. It had even the little extras like the washing up liquid ,dishwasher tablets, salt and pepper little things that you may forget to take with you. The only thing I would say is that it is a seven minute walk down to Port Isaac but coming back it is a very very steep hill to walk up so if you are not on the more mobile side of walking then it could be a bit hard coming back.

We bought Singing Cottage in 2015 because we love the area and its location. We are looking forward to many more family holidays here.

This property is quite uniquely situated as it is within walking distance of the centre of Port Isaac yet has a large garden and provides parking for two cars. A well behaved dog is welcome.
