Nice, clean, modern, view of lake, comfy beds and couches, balcony was nice, checking was easy. Lived the telescope on balcony.

Great Host

This host was by far the best host I’ve ever dealt with on this site. Booking was easy, there were no hidden fees and extravagant extra costs. The home was exactly like the pictures and we had no issues. We had the pleasure of meeting the host and she was so nice. And when we checked out there wasn’t the typical long list of things you have to that the cleaners should do. Great rental and host!

Spectacular View

We were there for a wedding. The view was absolutely spectacular. The owners were great to work with. The property was a little worn. We were slightly nervous to be out on decks. It seemed as if property wasn’t used much as there were many cobwebs. I usually wouldn’t mention but with a $175 cleaning fee should have been a bit cleaner

Great views of the lake was the best part. The worst part was spiders and cobwebs in much of the house. Had to buy a Swiffer to go through the house and remove them. We had a lot of family over for dinner each night and unfortunately there were no mixing/serving bowls or platters which made it a challenge. No working garbage disposal was also frustrating. Overhead cooling system made it difficult to manage temperature in the house.We would not stay here again.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE--DO NOT RENT FROM HER..

The place was filthy. There were dead bugs in the pots. We had to wash all of the dishes and pots before we could use them. We were told we would have access to the neighborhood swimming pool. That was not true. I had to replace the a/c filter. It probably had not been replaced on several months. It was dirty enough to effect the performance of the a/c, We left the place cleaned the when we arrived. The owner emailed me that she was going to hold my deposit because she stated that we broke a brick in the front door step. The brick was loose when we arrived. She also stated that we had spilled water in the bedroom that we didn't even use. After American Express contacted her, she refunded my deposit. Do not rent from these people...

Beautiful lake view

The duplex home was easily found and reflected the pictures on Home Away. The view from the balcony was amazing. The only suggestion we would make would be to have the air conditioner on before guests arrive. It took quite awhile to cool down the house. Cooking utensils were a little scarce, but we were able to cook breakfast. A better fry pan and a spatula would be helpful. The owner suggested a community pool was available, but no directions on how to get there. We did not have time to use it, but it would have been helpful to have directions. I would definitely stay here again.

The views are priceless .The house was very clean and tidy and the owners were also very helpful and accommodating .I will absolutely come back again .This place will forever hold a place in my heart .

Light, airy and comfortable, with a FANTASTIC view of the lake.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was nice and had everything we needed. It looks like some upgrading is going on over time, but there is nothing out of place to inconvenience, so this is a good thing, and fixtures, baths, kitchen, bedrooms etc, are all very nice. The owner is taking care of the property. Nice development with a pool. Wildlife walking through the area and our children enjoyed seeing grown and baby deer daily right below the deck, (our visit was early summer) as well as saw wild turkeys walking thru the neighborhood. Two baths downstairs along with two bedrooms, the master having its own deck and both overlooking the lake. Main entry is upstairs and includes a half bath, kitchen, dining, and living area, plus another bedroom, and indoor laundry room. AC is a must in the summertime here and the temps were in the 100s for our stay. Inside, the AC worked very well and we were quite comfortable. The main deck is off the kitchen and living area, spans the width of the home and has plenty of room for hanging out and BBQ/grill which we used. All very clean and well kept. The owner was very nice, quickly responsive, and helped with any questions we had from reservation time through the entire stay. We all loved the very comfortable and roomy home and would definitely stay again. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful home!

Amazing Views

This house has the most incredible views. The master bedroom had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever stayed in. I would have given 5 stars but the house definitely needs a good cleaning from top to bottom. Yan was fantastic and was very quick to respond to any questions we may have had. We would definitely stay again as long as the cleanliness has been addressed.

Great views, Great place.

We traveled with another couple and all liked the views of the lake, deer, rabbits & turkeys. Nice quite neighborhood made for a good weekend. Only draw backs were the place needed a little handyman service. Some of the kitchen doors are lose. The igniters were not hooked up on the BBQ. We would definitely rent the place again. The beds were real comfortable the showers were great. There were some spiders on the roof and cobwebs in some corners. Other the top of the fridge and the oven it was very clean and well stocked.

Comfortable and quiet!

Beautiful view of the lake below. The neighborhood is quiet, the house looks newly remodeled. Netflix and wi-fi friendly. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and pots and pans. The king size bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my restful weekend on the lake.owner was available by text with answers to requests. My stay was in mid- February. Sunshine and birds awakened me each morning!

Great home. Gorgeous view!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Great for families. We arrived late at night. The view was absolutely amazing when we woke up the next morning. I look forward to staying again.

updated kitchen and bathroom with breath taking view

Yan response was very quick. Even when I emailed him very late at night he responded within a timely manner. Answered questions I had and accommodated our needs. The house rental was very nice and updated. Loved the foam bed, very comfortable. Lovely view from morning til night, breath taking view of Clearlake. The kitchen and master bathroom shower, my husband and I fell in love with. The only issue I had was the cob webs and spiders on almost every corner, but other than that, this house had just about what we needed for 2 nights. Would definitely rent this house again.

A beautiful place with a beautiful view

I stayed here for a girls weekend with two of my friends. The place is simply lovely with all the amenities. Yan, communicated very well and we had no trouble getting in. The beds were comfy and 3 bathrooms were great to have. Oh and the view is amazing. I will come back with my family in tow next time.

Great vacation stay!

My family of five loves staying here, this was our second time in a year. Everything needed is there with plenty of space, and the view of the lake is amazing. The upstairs bedroom with bunk beds works great for my kids with the guest bath, and the two bedrooms two baths downstairs allows for another couple to join us. It's the perfect layout...I definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful Home with Killer Views!

I highly recommend this lovely home with an outstanding view if you are looking to stay in the Clearlake area. The home is recently updated and very nicely appointed. The beds are so comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen are beautiful. Communication with the owner is fast and easy. We will rent this home again when we visit Clearlake in the future.

William and Yan like travel around world. William came from England 30 years ago and Yan from China 25 year ago. We live in wine country, Santa Rosa which is 80 mins away from the vacation house. When we first time went to clear lake, we love the beauty of the lake and decide to retire here.
