*Kauai is open and welcoming visitors as our island continues to recover from Hurricane Lowell. Guests may see ongoing repairs, roadwork, and temporary closures around the island as our community continues to rebuild. Please come with Aloha, be patient, respect posted closures and give local crews and residents plenty of space. *

This charming, oceanfront condo is attractively furnished with your comfort in mind. Its ground-floor location offers convenience as well as easy access to the beach. You have nice ocean views from your living room and master bedroom as well as from your private lanai. This is a great place to relax to the sound of the surf and enjoy a snack or cool beverage while taking in the beautiful sights.

Located between award-winning, oceanfront Wailua Golf Course and Lydgate Beach Park, Kaha Lani, which means "Heavenly Place" in Hawaiian, gives you convenient access to snorkeling, golfing, shopping and restaurants. There is a huge selection of great eateries in this area from which to choose when you feel like dining out. Or, enjoy preparing relaxing meals at home in your fully equipped kitchen.

Perfect for couples and families, Lydgate Beach Park is a very short walk down the beach from your condo. It has a protected area for snorkeling and swimming plus a toddler's swimming area. Just steps from your door, you can lounge by the swimming pool or play a game of tennis right at Kaha Lani. Enjoy leisurely strolls and beachcombing along a two-mile walking beach next to Wailua Golf Course.

Kaha Lani is centrally located on the island so you can easily drive to spectacular north and south shore beaches, hike the Waimea Canyon, Na Pali and other trails, and sightsee while exploring the beautiful Garden Island.

Activities nearby include: seasonal swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, helicopter and boat tours, tennis, golfing, surfing, fishing and shopping.

The location was excellent for early morning sunrise views & walks along the beach! Parking onsite was wonderful & the easy access to a laundry room was definitely a value add for a week long trip. NOTE that it does NOT have A/C & a number of the outlets need replacing so charging devices was a learning experience.

A month on the garden island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a good visit at the Kuhio Prince in Poipu. Nice property and the unit was as described. I requested a move after hurricane Lowell because I had been without power 2.5 days and inquired if there might be a unit on another part of the island where power might be restored quicker. My request was accommodated to Kaha Lani on the east side of the island. This unit had great access to the ocean and Lydgate Park. This unit could use some updating - rust on ceiling fans, mold in the shower, and could use a thorough cleaning of windows.

Everything was fantastic! The house was well stocked and there was lots of stuff for our beach experience. Great walking path also! I would stay here or any of their other properties again. Thank you for a great week!

Great place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This ground floor unit had two bedrooms (1king, 2 twin beds, a large living/dining area, kitchen, and 2 full bathrooms. This setup worked great for our family of four. There was no A/C but the tradewinds and fans kept the temperature comfortable. It was in a quiet area close to highways, Lihu’e, Kapa’a, etc. The location of the condo within the complex was great. There is an amazing ocean view from the main living area and one bedroom. The unit was close to laundry and parking. There were enough supplies and towels. It was useful to have a closet full of beach gear/toys/cooler. The pool was warm and suprisingly deep at one end which my kids loved. The walking trail that goes along the coastline was accessible from the grounds (which by the way are well maintained and beautiful). We were able to use the trail to walk to Lydgate Park in just a few minutes. The location of the condo was central and convenient for getting to other areas of Kauai. The unit shows its age but it was clean, comfortable, and more than adequate for our needs. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Location, location, location! A quick 10 min drive from the airport, and the unit overlooks the ocean. A walking trail takes you to a lifeguarded beach, and a nearby hotel offers a luau and outdoor restaurant. Other shopping, restaurants are a short drive. The unit is a bit dated and neglected, especially the BRs and bathrooms. Newer kitchen cabinets and appliances were nice, and the cooking supplies and dishes were good. The pool and outdoor common areas were very nice—well-manicured and beautiful. We were told this unit was on the market for sale so I suspect a new owner with a little investment could make this unit a real jewel.

This condo is the closest to the beach! Ground floor with 2 lanais. A bit aged, 1975, and the back of the house needing updating..it just went on the market when we arrived..may have sold. Full kitchen and utensils, but no condiments. Only 1 hand soap in baths. Comfortable and clean overall.Extremely good customer service from Kauai Vacation Rental reps by phone and texts! Great job ladies! Mahalo!Overall, very nice!

The place was very clean but it is VERY dated - could use a few updates. Everthing was great, we had enough towels and didn't discover the beach chairs until the last day.
