Very comfortable house in a quiet and beautiful location

We were warmly welcomed by Vedrana who was there when needed but unobtrusive. The house is comfortable and provides flexible accommodation, set in a beautiful garden.

Our family of 4 loved our stay in beautiful Lumbarda, Korcula. The rental was clean and tastefully decorated with artistic touches throughout. The 3 separate apartments were perfect - the kids loved playing hosts and having their own space. The owner Vedrana was kind and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. The nearest beach is sandy and located only a 1-minute walk away, with other beaches easily accessible nearby. A well-stocked grocery store and an artisanal bakery are also within walking distance. There are several areas in the lovely garden available for relaxing after a day at the beach. A comfortable and enjoyable place overall!

This was our fourth trip to Lumbarda and the nicest property we have stayed in. We had our young adult children, my son's girlfriend and a neice with her boyfriend with us so the two upstairs flats were ideal for them. The property has character and is near the supermarket, beaches and Pizzaria Torkul; all the places we love in Lumbarda!Vedrane was very kind and brought us traditional desserts and cake during our stay.

Lovely spot and delightful host

We had a wonderful 10 days at Lumbarda..The property was roomy, comfortable and spotless and we particularly enjoyed the garden and the swimming. There is a little beach just below the house and 2 more about 15 minutes walk away, all with cafes. There are two good restaurants just below the house and some excellent ones in Lumbarda. Beware mosquitoes after dusk - there are plenty of Raid plugs though. For the information of future guests, because it wasn't clear from the listing, the downstairs flat has two bedrooms -double and twin - while the two upstairs flats are roomy studios, each with a big double bed. All flats seem to have sofabeds too. The kitchen is adequate but has no oven or dishwasher. Supermarket and bakery about 10 minutes walk away. Lastly almost no shops - except supermarkets - or restaurants take cards. Plenty of ATMs in Lumbarda

Leisurely vacation in a beautiful house

We enjoyed our relaxing holiday in Vedranas beautiful house. The house was very clean, we had lot of space inside and outside of the house. Communication with Vedrana was very good before, during and after our stay. All questions were answered directly, she is very friendly and helpful. We and our little dog felt very welcome! The house is in a good location. Shopping and going out for dinner can be done by foot. There are some beaches, you can reach by foot too. If you want to reach lonely beaches or bigger supermarkets, you have to use the car, but distances are not to big. We were on nice hiking trips on the island and found great places to swim, snorkel and relax. Thank you, Vedrana, for being allowed to be your guest, we enjoyed it very much!

Perfect stay

We had the whole house for us (2 families with children) and everything was as we expected it to be. The place is quiet, well shaded. Our host was nice. The house sits on the top of the hill overlooking Tatinja Beach and is with a nice view of Sveti Rok church.

Lovely courtyard, attentive host, pretty accessible

Beautiful historic building, cosy and practical. Particularly lovely to have the charming host right next door - so informative and helpful. The private courtyard is a particularly nice feature - catching the morning sun, and then providing shade in the hight of the hot days. The house was the perfect layout for us. The ground floor apartment accommodated two of us - and was practical for a wheelchair user who is able to manage just one or two steps, and the close bathroom was easy to negotiate on two sticks (& grab rail inside the shower would have made it feel even more accessible and secure) . Another part of the family had the upstairs section - with lovely views and their own kitchenettes. This meant we could have good separate and together time for a harmonious two-generation family holiday. A quick nip down the hill for the swimmers in the company gave quick access to a small beach and warm seas. A short walk to the supermarket made provisioning easy. A lovely time was had by us all in this lovely holiday home.

Toller Urlaub in Lumbarda

Fr. 2 Restaurants in max. 5 min Entfernung.

Idyllische paradijs in Lumbarda

We were so lucky to find ...

We were so lucky to find this beautiful stone house. The accommodation is even more spacious than I thought from the pictures. There is lots of outside space too. One seating area is under a vine which provides a lovely shade. The house and the gardens are very private and not overlooked by other houses or passers by. We rented the whole house, two apartments upstairs and one larger downstairs. There were 10 of us, ages 5 to 77, and it worked perfectly for all of us. Very clean, bright and spacious. The house is in excellent location too. Sandy beach just one minute down the steps, as well as the best pizza restaurant in Lumbarda, supermarket 2-3 minutes walk. Vedrana, very kind owner of the house, greeted us on arrival with beautiful fresh salad, cheese, fruit, just what we needed after a long journey. Vedrana was also able to recommend good restaurants and very professional and efficient taxi company. Lumbarda is a beautiful place and we would not change anything about our holiday (apart from make it longer). Korcula town is very near and good to visit, but we preferred staying in Lumbarda. Great wine and fish. Easy to hire a boat if you wish to visit the small surrounding islands. Or you can get a taxi boat. If you were lucky to come across this accommodation, do not look any further.
