In the living room there is a comfortable seating area and a spacious dining table. Wonderful to relax and enjoy your culinary delights and games evenings. The large Smart-TV, Blu-ray player and the free Wi-Fi provide entertainment for young and old. The modernly equipped open kitchen offers everything for preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner for the whole family. The kitchen is complete with dishwasher, microwave, oven, electric hob, kettle, toaster and filter and Senseo coffee machines.

From the roof terrace (south facing) you can enjoy a beautiful view over the valley, forests and the village of Schonwald. You can use 6 chairs and 2 tables. On the large side balcony, you can have you breakfast, overlooking the forest edge. Here you will find 2 sun loungers.

In total there are three spacious bedrooms with high quality mattresses and duvets. Two bedrooms are on the same level as the living room, and have a shared toilet-shower room. The third bedroom on the upper floor has a private toilet-shower room. This third bedroom is very spacious, 8x4 meters, and ideal for children to play and watch DVD videos on the large TV.

A lovely compact pool and sauna is located on the ground floor of the apartment. This is shared with other residents of the complex, but you can sign up for a time-slot to have your own private wellness area. There is also a cellar box for storing your bikes, and a covered parking space.

Surroundings:
You are here in the middle of the Black Forest. The small village "Schonwald im Schwarzwald" is a German spa town (Kur Ort); known for skiing and cross-country skiing in winter, and excellent hiking and mountain biking in the hot summers. The area is dotted with wellness centers, and many sports and outdoor activities. There are many possibilities for day trips; (including the village Triberg with the highest waterfall in Germany, "Europa-Park" in Rust (the largest family amusement park in Germany), Cuckoo clocks, Schwarzwald KirschTorte, Museums, wine regions of the Upper Rhine Valley/Alsace. The crystal clear lakes; such as TitiSee, SchluchtSee and BodenSee, the Mainau flower park, the source of the Danube River, old steam train rides ... and much more. This is also a place for good food and drinks, for a very pleasant price. Enjoy our favorite restaurant "Gasthof Rossle" in the Weissenbach valley (10 minutes drive/25 minutes walk).

Golf/Ski
- Several 18-hole golf courses in the area (15-30 minutes drive).
- 2 ski lifts in the village, and much more in the surrounding villages.
- There is also the large ski area 'Feldberg' at 45-minute drive away, where you can enjoy the 14 lifts and 16 slopes for all levels of difficulty.

- The apartment consists of 2 floors on the 2nd/3rd floor (there are 2 stairs, no elevator). The stairs to the 3rd bedroom in the loft can be a bit steep for very small children (<5 years).
