Kentfield Haven - Adorable and Cozy Studio

This cozy studio is surrounded by redwood trees and a paved terraced garden. Very light with a full kitchen including a gas stove, microwave, toaster, blender, electric tea kettle, refrigerator. Very comfortable queen size bed. We just installed a lovely merino wool carpet and the unit is newly painted. The studio is below our kitchen. We have added padded mats to our kitchen floor to dull the sound of footsteps above. We are generally very quiet upstairs and very conscious of our guests below - especially mornings and evenings.

All linens, bedding and towels are washed with unscented detergents.

It is located within walking distance of a great grocery store, College of Marin and there are many wonderful restaurants close by. The garden is yours to use at your leisure; surrounded by redwood trees and a view of Mount Tam. There are biking and hiking trails nearby, several movie theaters and the Marin Art and Garden Center. Only 5 minutes from the freeway and 20 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge, and usually 10 to 20 degrees warmer than San Francisco, Sausalito and Mill Valley. If you want a to stay in the Bay Area and avoid the fog, this is the place to be especially if you are interested in exploring Napa, Sonoma and the coastal areas like Stinson Beach and Point Reyes.

NOTE to longer term guests of 7 days or more. You may request cleaning service for an additional fee of $75. You may use the washer and dryer free of charge once a week.
