The house is situated on 2 quiet acres of Spruce & Birch trees about a half mile off the Parks Highway. Sit on the porch in one of many reclining chairs and watch the moose roam the yard !

This fabulous home is attractively finished with beautiful wood, tile, and a gorgeous stone fireplace. Four bedrooms offer maximum privacy for guests with 2 1/2 bathrooms, Master bath is equipped with a jacuzzi bath for your long days out enjoying Alaska's beauty!

The well appointed chef's kitchen allows several people to whip up a gourmet meal. Washer & Dryer,200 channels by satellite dish are provided for your convenience,three tvs for everyone's taste in viewing!

This home has three heating systems in floor heat,forced air heat, and a high efficiency gas fireplace!

A stainless Jenn-Air grill lets you cook up the days catch on the porch! Then relax by the Firepit out back with picnic tables and benches! The garage has a flat screen TV with DVD & a VHS with tapes, table tennis,darts & a Nordic track tread mill with additional table and chairs for eight!

Centrally located for all the area's attractions, this is the ideal vacation home.

You will be approx 3.5 hours from Denali National Park and Preserve. Denali National Park offers a wide variety of exciting ways to explore its unique environment. Bus tours include the 12-hour Kantishna Wilderness Trails Tour, which encompasses the full 90 miles of the Denali Park road and includes a stop at the historic mining town of Kantishna. Also available is the popular eight-hour Tundra Wildlife Tour, which covers the first 50 miles of the park road. Other trips offered near the Park entrance include helicopter flight seeing, whitewater and scenic rafting, Husky Homestead and Kennel tours and dinner theaters.

You could also drive an hour to Anchorage, Alaska! Anchorage offers many tourist shops, Alaska Native Heritage Center, The Museum, and many other events year round.

Clean, comfortable stay

Our host reached out with information about check-in and was great for communication during our stay. It was incredible to walk into a pristinely-kept space after a long trip. The home is in a pleasant, quiet residential area. Would certainly recommend!

The Cunningham cabin in Wasilla is absolutely beautiful. This was easily the nicest property we have ever rented. Our entire group felt this home was something special. It was centrally located to all of our travel in Alaska and was very comfortable. Loved the natural property with wild flowers blooming everywhere.

EVERYTHING you could ever want and more are here in this comfy cozy home- special attention to many details- Gary was a great communicator, the fireplace was so cozy on a snowy September morning! the kitchen and bathrooms are full of essentials and more! very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Property listing not accurate/Tenants upstairs

This property seems amazing until you show up and there are two tenants he has renting out part of the house. They woke us up two mornings arguing about very personal information that shouldā€™ve been kept between the two of them. The yard is overgrown and looks nothing like the pictures that are posted. The house is pretty well kept and we had no issues with it. The owner also charged an extra cleaning fee for wearing shoes in the house. (Which we never did.) Overall this is a nice place, but there are better places to get for your money and you can be closer to all the attractions. I told the property owner about the tenants and he refused to believe any of it. Also the tenants will complain about the slamming of the garage doors. VRBO does not allowed shared spaces, which this clearly seems to be, I would not recommend.

Advertised as 4 bedrooms it was 3 with a loft. Sleeping 7 in beds.

It all turned out fine as 3 kids slept on couch & floor. There was a cot . Very clean and comfortable . Checkout time on Vrbo was 11 am & cleaning crew arrived at 10 am and told us we had to be out. We got out within 30 min. Check in time was listed as 3 pm we arrived at 4:45 and cleaning lady was just leaving . So there was inconsistent with what is listed on Vrbo . Enjoyed stay with very nice and clean! Thanks,

Trash and no place to park.

Was not same that was showed on line. When pulled in the yard hadnā€™t been mowed in weeks and the trash dumpster was over flooding with trash. Could not use the fire pit because of four cars parked around it from care takers !!

Loved visiting family and going back to a beautiful your home

Nice home, very homey and comfortable. Loved the in floor heating. Lots of natural daylight and comfortable seating. I did not use the tub but it sure looked fun! The extra condiments and food stuff helped not have to buy extra and waste it. Thank you.

Great Stay at a Luxury House

Aug 2016 was our third stay and we have enjoyed it so much that we scheduled 2 weeks in 2017. The house is in perfect condition and always clean and inviting. The kitchen has everything you need--including Pennzey spices! It's the perfect place to relax, sit on the porch or by the fire after a day of sightseeing. The owners have gone out of their way to make it our home away from home. I would recommend it to everyone.

Outstanding Home
