BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF LAKE CUMBERLAND AND PITTMAN CREEK.

Our 2 bedroom home features a fully equipped kitchen with a new stove and new refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave, washer and dryer, gas grill, flat-screen Roku 40" TV, Blu-ray DVD player, central A.C., and a spacious deck. It is furnished with the following beds: one king, one queen, and one double in the second bedroom, and two twin beds (daybed and trundle).

We are conveniently located 5 minutes from Burnside Marina, 10 minutes from Somerset, and 15 minutes from Conley Bottom Marina.

Enjoy the stars at night while overlooking the lake or gathering around the fire pit for a good old-fashioned campfire.

Dogs are welcome at our home. The pet fee is $85 for one and $150 for two dogs.  Also, there is a fully refundable $200 pet deposit which is paid and refunded via Paypal or Venmo.   Please note that, while our home is pet-friendly, dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds as this can create a serious health issue for subsequent guests with pet allergies. Therefore, we ask that you bring a crate or pet bed so your pet is comfortable and you don't incur any extraordinary cleaning expenses.  Also, please clean up after your pet in the yard.

Great place

This house was amazing. Gorgeous views, wonderful stay for my family at the lake. The owners are equally just as awesome. They are such nice people, always available to answer questions at any moments notice.

Very pretty

I loved how it seems secluded but involved at the same time. Very clean, had lots of utensils and extra helpful things. Loved how many towels etc were in the bathroom. Porch was awesome great view.

Property was very clean. A little vintage. Area was great. View was spectacular. Probably will stay here again. Communication was good with owners. But a little slow.

Loved the view!

This is a nice little house and is as advertised. Very comfortable and cozy. The view is stunning. It has everything you need in the kitchen. Very quiet neighborhood. Loved our coffee in the morning on the deck. In the evening it was perfect to grill out and enjoy a glass of wine. The outdoor firepit is a bonus. It is rustic but nice and the owner left some wood for us as well. We really enjoyed the warmth and crackle of the fire while looking out over the lake and the lights on the rolling hills. The owners were easy to work with and communication was great. We appreciate that we were able to check in early. We’d highly recommend this house.

Beautiful views and peaceful family getaway

My mother, sister, and I stayed here to celebrate Thanksgiving and we were all very happy with our choice. The owners are very nice and responsive, the beds were comfortable, the shower worked well, and new refrigerator and stove made our thanksgiving meal easy to prepare. Even better was the view from the table on the covered deck where we ate our dinner! Ample parking as well as good wifi. Beautiful views of Lake Cumberland and Pitman Creek as well as a lovely experience with the house has us hoping to come back soon!

Beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and comfortable. The patio and view was beautiful. It rained while we were there so the covered patio was great. The kitchen worked really well for us. It had everything we needed. Only negative is that mattresses were old and could use replacement..

Was in a good location. We had trouble with the beds, king was really hard, not good for my back with several discs messed up and then we went to the other room and we could sleep better, not like at home.

Wonderful Lake View But Disappointing Accommodations

The outdoor space was nice and had a great lake view however the house was so musty even after we tried Lysol and candles we could only stay one night of the two we booked. Your shoes stuck to the kitchen and dining area sheet flooring and the carpet and furniture in the living room was very dated and stained. Also the TV was a challenge to operate.

Best of 3 VRBO summer rentals so far

Very clean rental, owners responsive and easy to work with. Main plus is the house is small size, which is hard to find for a couple or small group. 2 BDRM, one bath and sleep sofa. We are a boating couple so always looking for small size lake properties since giving up camping. Deck view really nice in mornings or evenings. Part of deck covered from heat of sun or rain. We will definitely consider renting here again. Be sure to check out local attractions and parks too.

Quiet Area

Had a great stay. No issues whatsoever with the house, location, view, etc. Only suggestion would be to update information on all listing sites. Airbnb, VRBO, and Google search listings all showed different amenities and pricing for pets. For example, there WERE towels when listings said there weren’t...worked out in our favor. By no means did any of this give us a negative experience. It all worked out just fine. It would make planning what to bring a little easier. Kitchen is updated from what is shown in pictures as well...another pleasant surprise. Great place for family time, good movie selection (Netflix, Crackle, etc). Would definitely recommend staying here.

Little house with a great view

The house was small but perfect for the four of us and two small dogs. It had everything we needed for a six day relaxing vacation. the house was clean as were the linen and towels provided. The kitchen, also clean, had what we needed to prepare meals. We brought our own grill utensils because my father is a grill snob. The deck is a perfect spot to watch the sun rise. One thing to keep in mind is the internet is painfully weak. When I was online with my graduate coursework, nobody else could get on. Streaming had a lot of buffering. Bring DVD's for the evening movie and popcorn. I felt comfortable contacting Jim and Clara at any time. They responded quickly. Even gave us a couple of good ideas for short day trips.

Needs updating.

When we stayed there updates were needed. There is no tv, Just Ruko. Most of the time it did not work. I would suggest having the modem in the living room for better coverage. The bed on the main room is hard as a rock, we couldn’t even sleep on it. Also in the room with two beds, the sheets were huge and would not stay on. The back deck had a beautiful views. However The rails on the desk were very lose and their are huge spaces between the wood. This would not be safe for young.

We have this single home overlooking Lake Cumberland and 2 homes in Hilton Head overlooking the beach and ocean. We have been renting our home at Lake Cumberland for almost 15 years. We make some improvement almost every year. It was a full time residence when we bought it and we've only improved it. We live in Northern KY close to downtown Cincinnati.

We grew up going to Lake Cumberland and camped. We learned to ski there. We have owned our home since 1988. We love the view and comforts of our year around home while still enjoying sitting around a campfire. It has given us many wonderful memories.
