Beautiful peaceful place

We loved our stay here. It was so quiet and peaceful - the pool was lovely and we found it a wonderful place to just relax which is exactly what we needed. The area is beautiful with lovely walks direct from the house.

Fabulous!

A really lovely house. Lots of stuff available that is not normally provided, that made the stay even more pleasant (such as pool towels and kitchen basic). The drinks and food left for our arrival was really appreciated!Gardens and pool were beautiful. One of the nicest holiday rental we have stayed in!

We stayed at the villa for three weeks after spending a week near La Cala golfing with our youngest son.The road to the villa is very long and extremely winding. It was also quite difficult for our transfer driver to find the property, as there is no sign at the top of the steep driveway. A car is definitely recommended. We didn’t have one, but we found local taxi drivers, Rafa and Jose, who were excellent and took us up to Comares whenever we needed.Later, my other children joined us. The pool and outdoor area were fantastic, and we spent most of our time there. The showers had good water pressure and the bathrooms were nice.The villa became very hot during our stay. There was a very old, noisy floor-standing fan in one bedroom, but it wasn’t enough to cool the rest of the villa. The other fans were too small and mainly circulated the warm air, so the upstairs lounge and dining area were too hot to comfortably use. Installing air conditioning would transform the villa and make it a much more enjoyable place to spend time indoors.There is a bar about a third of the way towards Comares, around a 30–40 minute walk from the villa, which is a nice option if you don’t want to go all the way into the village.One thing future guests should be prepared for is the mosquitoes. They were relentless in the evenings, so if you want to sit outside after sunset, bring plenty of good-quality mosquito repellent. We found it absolutely essential.The villa would also benefit from so

Thanks for the review and glad you enjoyed the pool and outdoor areas. The house is located in a peaceful rural setting which is easy enough to find if you follow the directions given and don't rely on the sat nav! Although it’s possible to stay at the house using just the local taxis ,a hire car is highly recommended especially in the hotter months. This year has been particularly hot so the mosquitoes have been bad and the house harder to keep cool so following this review we have increased the number of fans and installed a more modern portable air con unit , all of which we would have done straight away had we been made aware. We will also have air con fitted to the upstairs living/dining area for next season so thanks again for the feedback

A wonderful holiday

We really enjoyed our stay here and thought the villa was absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of space in a beautiful setting. Plenty to explore without even leaving the villa! Pool and bar area was fabulous. The area was very peaceful, but not to far from shops and restaurants. Local food was excellent. A wonderful holiday.

Great house!

We really loved our stay at Los Ventorros : Ping pong table, badminton court, baby foot and the swimming pool everything was great. The roads in the vincinity ican be tricky so drive carefully. We loved our stay and we like to come back.

Private villa, fully equipped

We had a lovely stay. The villa had all we could wish for. A volleybal / badminton court, football, table tennis, swimming pool (with bar and fridge), games and books inside. A BBQ with gasheated plancha outside, many seating arrangements for any moment of the day, enough beds for 9 with the possibility to fold out the sofabed in the (private) living room. We had a simply lovely fortnight at the villa with family and friends.

Amazing house

We had a great week at this house. Super clean, well stocked with everything you need and more. Loads of seating areas outside for shade or sun during any time of the day. Lovely big pool. Table tennis, foosball and badminton/football court. Big rooms and big bathrooms. Looks even better in real than on the photos! Quite remote and to get to the nearest village a 10min drive in winding roads.

Summer holiday

The property is beautiful. Perfect for our family of five. Spacious, clean, plenty of towels, interesting to explore. The pool is amazing and well maintained. Some days we didn't leave the villa. The kids were in the pool for hours. We kept the fridge at the bar well stocked with cold drinks to keep us hydrated; it was 30+ most days. The host was helpful when we arrived at night and couldn't find the villa. We would love to return some day.

Stunning location and property

This holiday was everything we hoped and more! It is a very rural location, but this suited us, and to be honest we just stocked up the fridge and enjoyed the pool and house. It was spacious, clean, charming and was well equipped with fun things to do, and the pool was utterly beautiful! It was roasting hot, but as long as you let the cool morning air in and then closed up the shutters in the day it was fine, and just another excuse to get in the pool! We had a 15 and 12 year old and they loved it, but it would work for any ages! Thanks for a brilliant stay!

Great stay in a comfortable house with perfect pool

We (2 families with 5 kids between 3 and 9) had a great vacation in July in this really spacious house with a great pool. The house is really well equipped and had everything we needed. The property is huge with lots of space for the kids to play (table tennis, kicker and even a badminton area). And the pool was just perfect, with a bar and fridge and possible to lock if needed. On top of this the hosts really took care of everything and did reply very quick when we had an issue. All in all succeeded the place our expectations and we recommend a stay here. The only minor downside for us was that the house is 45-60 min away from other places (Malaga, beaches), except Comares is nice but little. But if you can accept this, the place is perfect!

Great place to be

As written by all the others. This casa is great, with all theses terraces and rooms located close to a small wild water stream. The area is very quiet and the pool with its bar and light concept very relaxing. Really special was the amount of small notices everywhere. Whenever you need to know something you can expect the explanation where needed - a little bit like Easter eggs without too much search. The communication with Kate was great via wifi. To mention, via mobile phone was not possible due to a bigger dead zone around the house. Very relaxing for someone like me who has to talk a lot of business people outside holidays.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Casa La Vereda.Das Haus ist wunderschön, gemütlich und sehr gut ausgestattet – wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Alles war sauber, gepflegt und entsprach voll und ganz den Beschreibungen.Kate war eine großartige Gastgeberin – freundlich, aufmerksam und jederzeit erreichbar, wenn wir eine Frage hatten.Besonders gefallen hat uns die ruhige Lage, die tolle Aussicht und der schöne Poolbereich, der perfekt zum Entspannen war.Wir haben die Zeit hier wirklich genossen und wären gern noch länger geblieben.Vielen Dank, Kate, für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und einen rundum gelungenen Urlaub.

Fantastische plek. Mooi ruim huis en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Heerlijk rustig en stil en een heerlijk zwembad. De communicatie verliep soepel en snel en we waren blij verrast met het welkomst pakket. Wij kwamen in het donker aan en waren blij met de duidelijke beschrijving. Wij hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad!!

Un poco apartado

Todo correcto. La piscina, una maravilla. En cuanto a los anfitriones, aunque no les hemos conocido, tuvieron el detalle de dejar cosas esenciales para nuestra llegada en domingo (huevos, café, cerveza, vino, pan, etc...)Lastima que la casa no cuente con aire acondicionado, y que este más lejos de Comares de lo que parece en el anuncio.Sitio ideal para desconectar. Hemos pasado dos semanas muy tranquilas.

Thankyou Javier Glad you enjoyed your stay . Thanks for pointing out the poor placement on the map, it is in fact 5.1 km from Comares or 10 mins by car . We may one day put more A/C units in the house but at the moment there’s one portable unit in one bedroom and fans in the other rooms

Schöner Aufenthalt!

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Es war für uns mit 3 Teens ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Es gab im und um das Haus alles für die perfekte Erholung. Natürlich war bei der Hitze der Pool und die Bar sehr beliebt, aber auch die Tischtennisplatte und verschiedenen Sitzplatzmöglichkeiten. Alles perfect von der Beschreibung, über die Kommunikation, die Umgebung und der Aufenthalt. Sehr zu empfehlen. viel Grüße Dirk und Janet

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Der Aufenthalt war sehr erholsam. Das Haus liegt auf einem Berg. Die Fahrt zum 1.Strand beträgt ca 30-45Min das muss man natürlich einplanen. Man hat seine Ruhe und kann abschalten, genau das haben wir gesucht. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, die Gastgeberin war auch kurzfristig erreichbar.
